Serum vs. Moisturizer: This serum provides deep, targeted hydration, while a moisturizer seals it in. For best results, layer your 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum after your cleanser but before your moisturizer. If you are using more than one serum, start with the lightest consistency so that it can absorb into the skin easily.

Get the most of this anti-aging serum by incorporating it into your skin care routine with the following steps:

Step 1: Cleanse with Revitalift Derm Intensives 3.5% Pure Glycolic Acid Cleanser to remove impurities and prep skin for serums.

INGREDIENTS

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a potent hydration-attracting molecule naturally found in the skin, but we lose it as we age which leads to lack of firmness and dryness. It forms an imperceptible film on the skin which also prevents moisture loss. Hyaluronic acid is a safe ingredient used by dermatologists for its intensely hydrating and replumping properties. We use three different weights of HA in our Derm intensives 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum.

HEPES, or 4-(2-hydroxyethyl)-1-piperazineethanesulfonic acid is initially a substance used in cell biology to stabilize pH. I recently purchased a bottle at Target and it was different in texture, appearance and smell. The texture I’m familiar with was a serum that was almost like an oil in that it was not completely watery. It was also completely clear in the bottle and had no odor. My recent purchase is very thin and watery, has a slightly cloudy appearance and a funky odor. I’ve been using it but I wonder if the formula changed or if this bottle is defective. It was sealed in the box when purchased.

I have hyper sensitive, combination-oily skin and night creams don't work for me and make me break out instantly, however with this serum my skin is very happy and looks refreshed come the next day. I've tried using during the day with my daytime moisturizer from another brand and it doesn't quite work and made me break out. I also tried using it alone during the day as a substitute for a daytime moisturizer and that didn't work either. I only use at night before going to bed as my night time ritual after cleansing.
