WHEN TO USE

HOW TO USE

Step 1: Test.
Conduct an allergy patch test at least 48 hours prior to use, to be sure our gentle hair dye formula is compatible with your skin.

Step 2: Mix.

Step 3: Apply.

Very shiny and soft afterwards. The color that I received was not my favorite so I may do a black or blue black soon. I will get this brand again though. My roots are more red but it should fade out after my next wash.

Vibrant hair color for a good value!

Classic boxed hair color. The packaging is sturdy and keeps all the contents together, while the packaging for each product is secure and leak free. It's easy to use and provides not only a vibrant color but also a soft conditioning effect to protect the hair after processing. Always use a smock or an old shirt to prevent staining. It's gentle on the scalp, but as a precaution, ALWAYS do a test patch to see if your skin is compatible.

This hair dye is pretty easy to use. It mixes together well and is easy to apply. I have long fine hair, and one box is enough to do my whole head, but if you have thicker hair, go with two. It covers my greys well and stays vibrant about the typical amount of time for a red dye. Be warned, it does bleed when wet, but that lessens overtime.

The hair dye box didnt include items i wanted like a plastic cape cover, it only gave pair of gloves. Packaging wasnt good. The hair dye bottle made a mess while dying my hair. The color did show but not vibrant. I call it average because it works okay but overall is not what I would recommend or repurchase for hair coloring.

I really wanted to like this but from the jump I knew I wasn't happy. The dye smells so badly and it made my eyes water it was so harsh. I typically use Garnier and I never have ammonia like smells. I left it in and washed it out and I could tell my hair felt so dry. I left the included conditioner in a few minutes then rinsed thoroughly. Somehow my hair is now greasy feeling. You can see how frizzy it is (top before, below after). The color is nice, but I can get less damaging results with Garnier. Very disappointed

Beautiful shade!

Such a beautiful color, I definitely think I’d go this shade again. The scent was pretty strong and kind of made my eyes water but it dissipated quickly. The coverage is good, it’s hard for me to dye the lengths of my hair well so it stays more in my roots but it looks so pretty. Definitely would recommend.

I received this product for free from Influenster and L’OREAL Feria in exchange for my honest review. I love Feria hair dyes. They always work so well with whatever color I do. The colors are so vibrant. I love this red color. It’s so bright and pretty. It doesn’t really damage my hair. The conditioner that comes with it always makes my hair soft after. The dye odor isn’t too overwhelming if you’re in a larger room. It didn’t irritate my scalp too much only where I have cuts on my scalp from my picking. The packaging is eye catching, and I think the color results samples photos on the box are pretty accurate.

Pretty red color thats dark hair friendly

My har naturally is a very dark brown. This definitely showed up well on my dark har. I think there is some bleaching because it is very heavily ammonia smelling. I saw no staining on my scalp which is nice. No burning. Mixed up well and quickly. The conditioner left my har soft so i didn’t feel like my hair turned to straw. I did lose a small amount of hair.

Great quality and color

This permanent dye far exceeded my expectations. As someone who has been dying their own hair for the last 6-7 years, I’ve gone though my fair share of low and high quality hair dye products. This was easy brand to use. The picture is the hair after a few weeks of dying it. The color does fade fairly quickly if you wash your hair often with hot water. It is a pretty color and I have very dark hair. I recommend if you want to try a new color but don’t want it completely permanent and hard to get out.

I’ve always loved Féria and this 560 red hot chili hit the spot on the color I wanted. The results as you can see were out of this world and stunning. The process was super easy with very minimal staining and an easy rinsing process. I give 4 starts because the staining in my scalp was the worse and hard to remove but other than that this was a hit! I would definitely recommend!

This is very nice hair color, but I will warn you that it does stain tubes/sinks so be quick to wipe things down with a baby wipe. Another good thing to do is to put Vaseline around the sides of your hairline and ears to keep staining off there since applying hair dye can be messy! Considering the fact I have very fine hair and that my hair is a lighter brown than the examples on the box, my hair became more fed than the auburn color but I'm totally okay with that! It's still auburn but in the sun, it looks more red (like in the photo which is why I took it this way). My hair doesn't feel brittle or damaged, which is due to the oils included. My hair actually feels very soft. Another tip for anyone else with fine hair, processing takes less time then usual so if you feel your scalp burning/itching badly then it's time to rinse. Even if time hasn't fully gone through, it doesn't matter. Keep your hair and don't worry about it! I'm already losing hair due to medical issues, I didn't want to lose more so I rinsed the moment I felt that sensation. Overall, it was very easy to mix and apply. I like the color and I hope it lasts a while! I still heavily suggest rinsing asap and protecting white and delicate surfaces!

New Year new look! Hot chili! I love the color! I had so many compliments at work! I was concerned that my hair was a dark brown but it tone blened really well! The red showed more on in the front bang area. The only downside to the hair color is the texture when applying. I hope they make it a thick creamer texture so I doesn't drip.

Exactly as described

It's been years since I've used a Feria dye, so I'd forgotten how intense the chemical smell is- my eyes instantly started watering when I started applying it to my hair. It works just as well as I remembered though- the color is exactly as described and pictured on the box. The process is exactly the same- add the two smaller bottles into the big bottle and shake to mix, apply to hair and let it develop for 25 minutes, rinse, apply conditioner. I appreciate the new little screw top on the mixing/application bottle, it made the process easier. My hair feels healthy, the shine is exactly like I remembered- it's definitely a good choice for an at-home box dye.

Beautiful shade / hit chili With vegan formula this suits all hair types 3 x times highlights - bonding care complex. In my case the coverage was medium cause I have dark hair but suits good not at the packaging shade but really light read that it’s not really apreciate in the picture but still looking nice. This product might cause some scalp irritation that’s why is important read carefully the instructions before application.

Amazing product with amazing results !!

First off I'd like to say that I really enjoyed this product !! It's a great hair dye to use at home with really good end results !! It was extremely easy to do at home with minimal mess. I have fairly sensitive skin & this did not bother my scalp at all......no itching or burning. The product was easy to put in and easy to rinse out.Plus left me with amazing results !! I overall would definitely buy this product again and would love to try Ferias other very unique colors !!

So I thought it would be much more red and it isn’t. I do like the color though! It’s just much more brown than red and darker. Because of that I did deduct a star. I also deducted a star because the smell when applying the dye was very very strong. I had the window open and the fan on but it was still a lot. I do think it comes with a lot of product for my long hair. I didn’t have any reactions to the dye do that was a plus. I’m happy with the color though.

Great color and product!

I am a die hard Feria fan, and was excited to try a different color. The Hot Chili color was the perfect amount of red with brown. When the light hits my hair, you can see the red and it's such a great color. I received a lot of compliments!

Pretty color - fades fast

Despite having a hairdresser as a sister I’ve been consistently dying my hair at home for the last couple of years so I was excited to test out the Féria dye in Hot Chili. The process is seamless and it’s easy to apply the color - I have thin shoulders length hair and one box was enough. The color was pretty but unfortunately I’ve found that the Féria color doesn’t last as long as some of the other brands so I took off two stars for the lack of longevity

This is a great hair dye kit! I have red hair and have had it for several years and tried many hair dyes. This one kept my hair soft and it did not feel fried or dry afterwards!

This is my favorite brand of hair color. It does not fade and the mixing and directions are so easy to understand Washing is easy and it does not wash out and the coverage is perfect

Love the brand, meh on the color

I've used this brand and line before, but never this color. I love the brand, my hair always feels so healthy afterwards and I get a ton of compliments on how shiny it looks. The color of this one though is not my favorite. I have a medium/ash brown natural hair color and when I go red I prefer something quite vibrant. I thought something called "Hot Chili" would be that, but it ended up being a lot more auburn on me. It looks like a very natural red, so if that's your thing then you'd love this color! But for me, it just wasn't punchy enough.

Gorgeous Color, But Be Ready for Extra Care

I am absolutely obsessed with the color from this Féria hair dye; it turned out vibrant, rich, and looks amazing. The shade came out exactly how I hoped and instantly made my hair look bold and fresh. That said, it definitely left my hair feeling more damaged and dry than before. I had to use extra conditioner and deep treatments afterward to get my hair feeling soft again. If you’re okay with putting in a little extra hair care for the payoff, the color is totally worth it. Just be prepared to baby your hair afterward.

great color if you’re not wanting to really stand out, not too vibrant. feels great and no mess! i feel like the dye does bleed after a few washes but with red you’re going to get that anyway.

Best for darker hair

Love this hair color it's so pigment and so easy to use! It comes with everything you need in the box and it's affordable. It doesn't stain my clothes or skin and it lasts the color doesn't wash out or fade! Its a thicker hair dye so it doesn't drip or get all over while I'm applying it to my hair. It doesn't have a strong scent like most hair dye. I will repurchase this hair dye. It works great on dark hair too.

Was able to add this to darker hair for an excellent result! It actually left hair feeling nice too. It was easy to rinse and didn’t stain my bathtub like other dyes. So far it hasn’t faded much. It is really a great product for when you want to add some color

The packaging is sturdy and keeps all the contents together, while the packaging for each product is secure and leak free. It's easy to use and provides not only a vibrant color but also a soft conditioning effect to protect the hair after processing. Always use a smock or an old shirt to prevent staining. It's gentle on the scalp, but as a precaution, ALWAYS do a test patch to see if your skin is compatible.

I have long fine hair, and one box is enough to do my whole head, but if you have thicker hair, go with two. It covers my greys well and stays vibrant about the typical amount of time for a red dye. Be warned, it does bleed when wet, but that lessens overtime.

The hair dye bottle made a mess while dying my hair. The color did show but not vibrant. I call it average because it works okay but overall is not what I would recommend or repurchase for hair coloring.

I typically use Garnier and I never have ammonia like smells. I left it in and washed it out and I could tell my hair felt so dry. I left the included conditioner in a few minutes then rinsed thoroughly. Somehow my hair is now greasy feeling. You can see how frizzy it is (top before, below after). The color is nice, but I can get less damaging results with Garnier. Very disappointed

The scent was pretty strong and kind of made my eyes water but it dissipated quickly. The coverage is good, it’s hard for me to dye the lengths of my hair well so it stays more in my roots but it looks so pretty. Definitely would recommend.

They always work so well with whatever color I do. The colors are so vibrant. I love this red color. It’s so bright and pretty. It doesn’t really damage my hair. The conditioner that comes with it always makes my hair soft after. The dye odor isn’t too overwhelming if you’re in a larger room. It didn’t irritate my scalp too much only where I have cuts on my scalp from my picking. The packaging is eye catching, and I think the color results samples photos on the box are pretty accurate.

I think there is some bleaching because it is very heavily ammonia smelling. I saw no staining on my scalp which is nice. No burning. Mixed up well and quickly. The conditioner left my har soft so i didn’t feel like my hair turned to straw. I did lose a small amount of hair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Saki N from Nice red color! This is very nice hair color, but I will warn you that it does stain tubes/sinks so be quick to wipe things down with a baby wipe. Another good thing to do is to put Vaseline around the sides of your hairline and ears to keep staining off there since applying hair dye can be messy! Considering the fact I have very fine hair and that my hair is a lighter brown than the examples on the box, my hair became more fed than the auburn color but I'm totally okay with that! It's still auburn but in the sun, it looks more red (like in the photo which is why I took it this way). My hair doesn't feel brittle or damaged, which is due to the oils included. My hair actually feels very soft. Another tip for anyone else with fine hair, processing takes less time then usual so if you feel your scalp burning/itching badly then it's time to rinse. Even if time hasn't fully gone through, it doesn't matter. Keep your hair and don't worry about it! I'm already losing hair due to medical issues, I didn't want to lose more so I rinsed the moment I felt that sensation. Overall, it was very easy to mix and apply. I like the color and I hope it lasts a while! I still heavily suggest rinsing asap and protecting white and delicate surfaces!

I was concerned that my hair was a dark brown but it tone blened really well! The red showed more on in the front bang area. The only downside to the hair color is the texture when applying. It works just as well as I remembered though- the color is exactly as described and pictured on the box. The process is exactly the same- add the two smaller bottles into the big bottle and shake to mix, apply to hair and let it develop for 25 minutes, rinse, apply conditioner. I appreciate the new little screw top on the mixing/application bottle, it made the process easier. My hair feels healthy, the shine is exactly like I remembered- it's definitely a good choice for an at-home box dye.

In my case the coverage was medium cause I have dark hair but suits good not at the packaging shade but really light read that it’s not really apreciate in the picture but still looking nice. Because of that I did deduct a star. I also deducted a star because the smell when applying the dye was very very strong. I had the window open and the fan on but it was still a lot. I do think it comes with a lot of product for my long hair. I didn’t have any reactions to the dye do that was a plus. I’m happy with the color though.

I would like to note that I did use bleach first because I was initially planning to do a different color, but it’s not necessary with this dye and is actually not recommended. I got a really vibrant color though! This dye is really gods quality for the price. It’s fairly simple to use and comes with everything you need including gloves. Red does tend to fade quicker than other colors, but I’ve already washed my hair several times, and the color is lasting pretty well. Overall, definitely recommend! My only downside is that Loreal is not cruelty-free, which is something that’s very important to me personally. However, I chose my rating based solely on performance.

So my daughter decided she wanted the rest of what i didnt use. Her blonde hair took to the dye quickly & gave her a natural strawberry blonde look. My hair is auburn so my roots came out bright & my ends are dark. Lol. I still like it. It has more of a orange/pink color to it than red which surprised me but isnt bad still. I was even more surprised that 1 box actually covered my entire hair instead of a box & a half! My hair is left feeling soft & not fried. My color is even though my front roots are bright. I might be suited for the bright colors but it looks great on my daughter & i dont mind the way my hair looks. Pictures make my hair look much darker but what i see in person is much more vibrant & colorful than my pictures show. (Sorry)

The instructions were super easy to follow. There was a little standing of skin. But the trick is tooth paste. Packaging was very fancy and didn’t look cheap. The color turned out rich and warm with a nice spicy red tone, and the at-home process was easy to follow with good coverage overall. The red is fiery and rich with tons of shine, not dull at all. It went on evenly and left my daughter’s hair feeling soft, not fried. If you want a fun, confident color that really pops, this shade is a great choice. It does seem to fade a little quicker than other colors though.

It was such a quick process and it left my hair feeling great after applying the color. I really enjoyed the conditioner that came with the hair dye, because it made my hair feeling great after silky and smelled beyond amazing. My hair held more color with this product compared to others that bleed out so much after each rinse! There hasn’t been any fading yet and the color has gotten a lot of compliments!

This hair dye was kind of the best smelling ones I’ve ever had. It covered easy without a lot of drip. The conditioner made my hair feel amazing!!! The color hot chili is cute for winter!

Also, was very good at covering my grey and white hair, like they magically disappear 🩶🤍 🤎 The hair dye did a wonderful job at dying all my my hair a dark brown ! 🌶️ the dye was supposed to give my hair a tint of red chili pepper-It didn’t do a very good job at it. You barely, in certain light, see a slight reddish tint!

The consistency of the dye is great, it covers my entire head (and have mid back shoulder length thick hair, and my hair feels great after using it and doesn’t dry it out!

The conditioner makes my hair smell so good. Always wondering why that isn't sold in stores. :-) This made my hair a nice, dark, achievable red!!! I like it!!! Less breakage and more shine. ❤️

I'm always nervous to sway from my original color, so thanks to Influenster, I got to step outside of the box of try a bold cold. Does disappoint! Covered my grey hairs and looks nice and bold for me. I love this color. Enough to cover my whole head and a nice fragrance oil to put inside of the hair dye as well.

I had to grab scissors to open it. It also didn’t want to mix well into the dye so I had to tap the bottom if the bottle in the counter to get it to go down and mix. It did not burn when in my scalp. Overall I like the color.

The formula isn’t runny at all, which makes it easy to get precise, even coverage without a mess. I also like that the shimmer serum smells like green apple, and the bold Hot Chili shade is vibrant, rich, and absolutely gorgeous!

The smell is a little hard. The conditioner is good and I feel a little irritation and I use Vaseline to feel good
