Beautiful color
I have used Revlon hair dye before so I knew I would like it. My daughter asked if she could try it instead since she liked the color. It was easy to use. It was easy to rinse. She liked how hair felt after using the shampoo and conditioner. Her hair came out beautiful.

I am extremely dissatisfied and angry. My hair was light brown / medium blonde, and after using L’Oréal Excellence Crème 6.1 it turned nearly black. This is completely misleading and unacceptable. The color result does not match the shade shown on the box at all. Very disappointing from such a well-known brand.

Used over 10years disappointed with formula change
I am actually super appalled and disappointed in the formula change why add such a bad cheap ingredient like HA to something that don’t need it??? I’ve been using this specific hair dye for over 10 years. Now I’m too scared to continue to use this after they changed the formula PLEASE REVERT BACK TO THE OLD FORMULA this is not good I don’t know who I will turn to now to buy to do my hair every month,,, please please please change it back or send me personally boxes that don’t have the new formula 😭😭😭

Great at covering greys
I’ve used this brand before as it’s great at covering greys. It’s long lasting, goes on easily and doesn’t irritate my scalp. My bar feels softer and smoother after using it. It also comes with plenty of conditioner to use a few times.

Unless you’re experienced home dyer, go to a profe
Dying hair at home is difficult. However prepped dye makes this process so easy however if your hair is not lighter that the intended end result then this product will NOT lighten your hair. You may see some results at a later time but it’s likely the brassiness. This will need to be toned.

Great grey coverage!
First 2 pics (after the box) are before; last 2 are after.
Easy to apply with the supplied bottle, but I prefer to use a bowl and tint brush. There's no ammonia smell (it smells pretty nice, actually), and the shine is pretty spectacular.
The only "con" is that the color only lasted about 2 weeks before starting to fade; greys started showing.

This is my favorite color. The light brown are so pretty. I have used other brands, L’Oréal smells good, is easy to use and does not damage my hair. Overall I have no complaints about this product. My hair feels soft and I feel the color was true to the description.

Overall this worked great
I received complementary from L’Oreal Paris and Influenster the L’Oréal Excellence Creme permanent hair color in 6 Light Brown to try then give my honest opinion of. I’ll start by saying that I have a good bit of grey and silver throughout my hair. This hair coloring did a very good job at covering my greys. The silver still had a pretty metallic look to it. You get a shampoo and deep conditioner with the box, the conditioner is big enough to have multiple uses. The formula is drip free, which it really is. Plus my hair feel better after usage than it had before hand. The shade display on the box is pretty spot on for the light brown. Overall this is a great at home box coloring.

I was really unsure if one box would cover my long hair, but it did!

The L’Oréal Excellence Color is the ONLY color I use! Easy directions… EVERYTHJNG YOU NEED! Gloves, brush applicator, color, even shampoo and conditioner (which are amazing by the way)! The light Ash Brown color that I got has rich brown, cool undertones. Gray coverage is great. Leaves my hair shiney and my scalp nourished! The color looks natural and beautiful! I think my hair is too dark for this shade. It just gave me a subtle hue. Overall it's easy to use and the instructions are clear and concise. My hair feels really soft and even softer than before the process. I like that it includes the shampoo and conditioner. Normally it's just a conditioner that is included. It did cover up my grays which is a nice touch up for me.

Beautiful new look in a box
I posted before and after photos. I occasionally dye my hair blonde but wanted to go back to my natural roots of light brown. This product by L'Oréal did an awesome job of it! My hair took to the dye after leaving it in for about 25 minutes. It didn't have a chemical smell and made my frizzy hair feel so soft. The color was light ash brown. So simple to mix and was able to fully cover my whole head if hair it also did a super job if covering my gray hair. I definitely recommend this product if you want to have a new look. Excellence by L'Oréal is excellent.

Consistent results
Excellence Crème Hair Color is a great option for home hair dye. I’ve been coloring my hair for more than 30 years and have used just about every available brand. I like the Excellence products because they are conditioning, smell nice and are consistent with the color results. The thicker formula is nice as it doesn’t drip or run down my back or onto my shoulders as it’s developing. It rinses out fairly easily with the included conditioning treatment.
Although I really like this product, I didn’t give it the full 5 stars because it doesn’t cover gray 100%; mostly, but not completely. I would and have recommended this product to others.

Hesitate to repurchase.
Very disappointed. I've been using Superior Preference #7 Dark Blond for many years. This time I noticed #2 of the product (in a dark bottle) was liquid rather than a creamy substance to be added to #1. There was no shampoo in the box. The end result was a light brown. I noticed the box read "new and improved". The color is definitely light brown, not dark blonde. Hopefully Loreal will test this product and correct the color.

Didn’t cover all of my grays
I really like the packaging of this hair dye. I like how the top screws off of the developer and you don’t have to cut it off like other brands. It doesn’t have a strong smell, so that’s great. I love that there is shampoo and conditioner that comes with it to use are dying my hair. It didn’t cover all of my grays though.

I really liked the Loreal Paris excellence creme triple care color. I got the shade dark brown, and I absolutely loved the end results. It is a natural looking color with excellent gray coverage. The color is long lasting with salon like results at an affordable price. It is very thick, easy to apply, and its non drip. The "triple protection" includes a protective serum, a color creme, and conditioner. It left my hair feeling very healthy and shiny. I would definitely recommend trying it. I love it!

Great coverage.
I know you cannot tell in the before photo about how much grey hair there is but it was enough to make me self conscious. This black was easy to mix and use evenly throughout my thick and long hair even with me doing a peek-a-boo style. The shampoo and conditioner was enough to wash and condition my hair after the clear rinse. Unfortunately my hair has frizzed out and I cannot get it smooth without product which I dislike using. I wonder if it is the hair color or the different shampoo than I am use to using? My hair is still soft and vibrant here days later. I hope this lasts a while as I love the color.

As Inage my crown is graying first which make it noticeable because I wear a bun every day. Worked well for gray coverage, but the color tone
I was honestly a bit disappointed with this hair color. While the application was easy and the scent wasn’t overpowering. The final tone leaned more orange/brassy than I had expected on the positive side, it did a great job covering my gray/white hair and I didn’t notice my hair feeling dry, looking dull, or frizzy afterward. My hair still felt soft and healthy. I was hoping for a more blended, natural, blonde result, and unfortunately, the brassiness just isn’t it. I think the shade simply isn’t the best match for my hair tone.

What I loved about this hair color was that it came with a hyaluronic shampoo for after rinsing. It really left my hair feeling soft. The tube is small but it is thick and lathers so well I think I could have used it twice. The hair color has a fairly strong smell but not the worst I’ve used. I used dark brown and it is definitely dark, almost black. I think it’ll likely fade a bit. The bottle was quite small, one box only worked for my roots, I would definitely buy two or three for my whole head. It also comes with a comb nozzle if you want to use that which I thought was cool.

Great for gray coverage
I color my hair at home and gravitate towards the Loreal brand. I switch from different lines but overall the brand is very good at coverage, ease of use, and lasting power. As you can see in the pictures my roots were about and inch and a half grown. You could see a lot of my natural color, the gray and the box color. This permanent color covered all the gray, it lightened my roots and left an overall pleasing color. It left my hair soft and shiny. Love the conditioner that is included, it smells great and it makes my hair soft and manageable. Would definitely recommend.

Best gray coverage
I’ve been coloring my hair for years, both professionally and at home, and I can honestly say that Excellence Creme Permanent Triple Protection Hair Color is one of the best at-home hair color products I’ve ever used. From start to finish, the entire experience felt thoughtful, high-quality, and far superior to many other boxed dyes I’ve tried in the past.
What immediately stood out to me was the Triple Protection system. I love that this color focuses on caring for your hair before, during, and after coloring. My hair can be sensitive and prone to dryness, so this was a huge plus for me. The formula felt creamy and conditioning right from application — not runny, not messy, and very easy to control. It applied evenly from root to tip, which made a big difference in achieving consistent color results.

The package includes everything you need - hair color cream and developer cream (of course), good quality shampoo (enough for one wash) and conditioner (will last up to 2-3 uses), and gloves (folded between the instruction booklet).
Pigment is strong and develops really quickly, but I left the product on my hair for more than 20 minutes (recommended time) as I wanted to cover grey hair completely.
I didn’t use any other shampoo or hair products, to see the real results and I’m satisfied- roots are covered and hair is shiny ✨

Haircolor that never fails!
I absolutely love this haircolor! As someone that has Grey hair this definitely helps cover them up. I like the fact that you can either use the comb or just regular applicator to color. I prefer the comb it helps really get in the roots and other parts of my hair easier. I let my hair sit for about 25 minutes then use the shampoo and conditioner. It helps get keep my hair soft and shiny. I have honestly been using this brand of color for years and i have always loved the results!

Easy to use, beautiful lasting color
I love how easy it is to use the Excellence crème permanent triple protection hair color. The 6 light brown is the perfect color for me too. Applying this is easy with the simple step by step instructions and you get great results that actually last. No scalp staining and the color consistency is accurate and balanced on all my hair. This will be easy to reapply because you just need to look for the number on the box to match it up to what you previously had used.

Good for a temporary color
Overall it is a good product but it didnt give a vibrant color that I expected. Application is easy and didnt leave my hair feeling limp or frizzy.
