Hi KRST! We are sorry to hear that #6-Light Brown is too dark for your hair type. We recommend shampooing frequently, with any regular shampoo to fade the color. In 4 - 6 weeks, when you have enough new growth, choose a lighter shade and follow the instructions for a root touch-up application. There will be no need to do a full head application, because the hair will have lightened if you have been shampooing frequently. So just the new growth will need the lighter shade, in order to blend with the hair that has lightened over time.
