How to Use Infallible Matte Resistance Liquid Lipstick

Grab your liquid lipstick and follow the steps below for the best results.

Step 1. Before you apply makeup, always start with a clean base by completing your regular skin care routine. Your lips themselves don’t need much prep but if you like, you can use a lip scrub to gently exfoliate your pout for a smoother base for any lipstick application. 

Step 2. Choose from the 12 bold colors ranging from cool-toned nudes to deep berry purples that’ll pop on any skin tone. Take a page out of Jenner's book and wear one of her favorites — Le Rouge Paris, a powerful blue-based red or Fairytale Ending, a light pink beige.

How to Remove Liquid Lipstick?

We’re serious when we say liquid lipstick formulas are budge-proof, which can make removal a little tricky. Simple soap and water won’t do the job, you’ll want to use an actual makeup remover like the L’Oréal Paris Ideal Clean All Skin Types Makeup Removing Towelettes, which will gently lift the pigment without drying out the sensitive skin of the lips.

If you want to go the natural route, use coconut oil. Take a pea-sized amount of pure coconut oil and apply it directly to the lips. Rub your lips together like you would if you were wearing lip balm and watch as the matte formula starts to break up and mix with the oil. It should only take a few seconds and then you can wipe away the residue with a tissue. For extra measure, eliminate any lingering pigment with a makeup wipe or micellar water, and follow up with a hydrating lip balm to re-nourish your lips.
