I have used Color Wow for years and then came across this and decided to give it a try and save some money. I live in the south and the humidity is brutal. This spray works even better for me than the Color Wow! Plus, this smells WAY better--the CW smells like windex or some other horrible cleaner to me. This product also sprays a lot better than the Color Wow--even better than the big bottle with the trigger spray. My hair is so soft, so straight and smells amazing! I don't know about the longevity after washing yet as I just tried it yesterday, but I am sold! Thank you Loreal! I am switching!

Smoothing, but sticky application

I used this on my naturally curly hair several times. It felt a bit sticky when applying and drying my hair and the nozzle broke off so I had to transfer the liquid into a spray bottle. I'm not convinced it was any more effective than my current products but it did seem to help smooth my hair out.

The wavy hair is without the product and straight is with the product. It did not have a strong scent and my hair did not start to smell burnt. Did not
help with any frizz so I wouldn’t say it’s perfect. I don’t love my hair to look glossy because it will look greasy too quickly. If you like the glossy look then you’ll definitely like this.

Great budget product

I use Redken’s Acidic grow full system and so any “budget” product I use is going to be hard to compete. I was pleasantly surprised at how soft, silky, and smooth this made my hair. You just spray it in and activate it with heat. It keeps your hair very manageable between wash days. I will keep this in my normal product routine.

Trust the process! This stuff works!

I have used so many anti-humidity products that don’t hold up past the flat ironing process but this really did work. I could feel a slight film over the hair after I blow dried it but I just trusted the process and flat ironed as directed and I was blown away by how smooth my daughter’s hair was. After you flat ironed the hair, you don’t feel any film or coating. Even into the next morning, the results are still smooth and typically her hair will revert almost immediately. I can’t wait to try this on a roller set next!

I really appreciated the ease with which this applies, both the packaging and how light weight it is, but I also doubt it does anything. It feels comfortable to spray on and smells ok though I see no difference in the “sleekness” of my hair and cannot really say whether its effective against heat so it truly feels like a nothing spray at the end of the day.

i love this product! this picture is from 3 days after using this Iron Sleek Coat. i was so happy i used this before this wedding. i had basically no frizz even though it was raining. my hair would usually be a big puffy mess. I love this product because it doesn’t weigh down my hair so it keep my volume without frizz. my hair feels healthy even after the heat i used several times.

This LOreal heat protectant spray really works to give you smooth sleek hair plus adds shine to your finished style. Just lightly spray on your wet hair and start blow drying - I used medium heat. This product is sulfate free and is semi-permanent. It lasted for 3 shampoos and I repeated as before. It controlled my hair from frizzing.

Love!! This makes my hair so shiny and soft and sleek. My hair is naturally very frizzy so I didnt expect miracles, but this was still very effective in getting my hair sleek! I do feel like if I wanted it absolutely perfect id have to use a lot of product, especially near the scalp. Also, i dont think its contributed to any build up in my hair or going greasy quickly. I will definitely repurchase!

The Iron Sleek Coat was not bad, but not as I expected. It absorbed quickly and no film was left on my hair. However, I still had a ton of frizz after using. My hair is naturally very dry and frizzy, though. I can say that it has a lovely smell that my husband thought I had put on new perfume.

It's Alright

This product is alright. I don't notice much of a difference from when I use it, and when I don't. I have naturally curly frizzy hair so my hair is somewhat difficult to tame. I used it on damp hair per the instructions and blow dried it using tension on my hair. It turned out pretty much exactly as it usually does. I have included pictures from immediately after blow drying and from the day after that.
The spray nozzle is a pump that works great. The product has a light scent. Odd to say, but it reminds me of fresh hay a little bit. Its in no way a bad smell, its light and very nice. I wouldn't not recommend this product, but I honestly can't say it makes much a difference using it.

Love how this product worked on my fine hair! It didn’t weigh it down or feel greasy, and left it smooth, soft and noticeably less frizzy. The scent is light and pleasant, and the heat protection up to 450° was a nice bonus. After blow drying, my hair was so sleek I didn’t even need to use a flat iron for flyaways.

Didn’t suit my hair

I used the L’Oréal semi permanent iron sleek coat treatment, but unfortunately it didn’t work as I expected. After the first application my hair looked smooth, shiny and frizz free. The result lasted through first two washes, which I was quite happy with. However after that I started experiencing noticeable hairfall. Overall this product didn’t suit my hair and I wouldn’t choose to use this product again.

I haven’t used a product in a long time I feel this strongly about!! L’Oreal Ever Pure Iron Sleek Coat WORKS!! I used another more expensive brand and didn’t see results. I thought maybe it was user error or I was beyond help…but enter Iron Sleek at a cheaper price point, easy to use, and noticeable results. I immediately bought two extra bottles for my daughters with different hair types, and it worked for them too! This will have a cult following in no time!!

Effective hair straightening spray, but not a miracle for frizzy hair

The Iron Sleek Coat is easy to apply, and it smells nice. I used it while blow drying and pulling my hair straight with a hair brush. The result was much smoother than air drying or blow drying without product. This says it will keep your hair straight and smooth for days afterward, but I have not found that to be the case for my hair. Mine is frizzy when I wake up the next morning.

1. After using EverPure Iron Sleek Shampoo and Conditioner, spray evenly on damp hair.
