I compared it to purple shampoo and it’s not purple at all. Purple is opposite of yellow, so it balances and tones yellow, brassy tones from dyed or natural blonde hair. Blue, on the other hand, is opposite orange, and balances and tones orange brassy tones in darker hair or hair that has been bleached but still has orange brassy tones. If your hair is light or bleached blonde and has yellow brassy tones, using a blue yo er conditioner or shampoo will give it a GREENISH tone! Very upsetting! I cannot use this, I tried it once and it made my hair look greenish! The company may not know the difference, but if you need to neutralize yellowish brassy tones from light hair, don’t use this as it is NOT PURPLE! It’s BLUE!

Well. I used it once and noticed no change ( brassy yellow in my white streak). Used it a second time (following the directions exactly), and yikes! Dry hair revealed still brassy yellow white streak and LILAC streaks at the sides (previously white). Now I totally understand those little lavender haired old ladies! I’ve washed x3 with “regular” shampoo and conditioner, and still purple. Hoping it resolves before my son’s wedding in 3 weeks.

I was wrong, it is not great for me anyway... Smell is okay but my number one problem is dryness! Gave me a very itchy and dry scalp a few times after using it. Feels like I have lice or something. The itch is awful. I get relief from using dove conditioner on my scalp but ones my hair dries out the itch slowly comes back. I would not recommend if you have a sensitive scalp!

However, after trying out this shampoo and conditioner I was a little less than impressed. The smell of the shampoo smells a little masculine for my personal taste. The shampoo I thought worked okay but the conditioner was blue instead of purple and I felt like it didnt take my hair a step further but really a step back in toning. Unfortunately in my opinion I felt I t didnt measure up to the competition for this particular product.

The smell is amazing, and I love that theres a lather when I shampoo my hair. I dont ever get that with other purple shampoos. Definitely recommend.

I only wash my hair 2 or 3 times a week and did not notice it getting any greasier then normal and did a good job of cleaning dry shampoo from my scalp with no buildup

Rated 5 out of 5 by babyplastique from I do love the smell of this product . It washes my hair great . Not sure if it took a lot of the brass out I have used it twice so far . Be Aware of purple shampoos the longer you leave it in the More grey your hair will turn . So be sure to wash it out sooner than later
