Loved the Blow Out Heat Spray and can't believe it's been discontinued. This was the recommended replacement on the Loreal website..no idea why. The Boost It Blow Out Heat Spray gave great body, shine and hold without stickiness or frizz and made my hair pretty humidity proof, especially when paired with the Weather Control Hairspray (best hairspray ever). Was awesome for use with a curling iron too. This Sleek It Spray left my hair flat and lifeless. They have totally opposite purposes..not a good replacement at all. Just paid double the price for Boost It on EBay to hold me until I can find a real replacement.

Sleek Hair

Bring back the Boost it Blow Out Spray!
I agree with others. This product is not comparable to the Boost it Blow Out Spray which I loved. I cannot believe you discontinued a product that was rated "most valuable product" in magazines. Until you bring it back, I have to switch to another brand, as you now do not have a product that works for me.

BRING BACK THE BOOST IT SPRAY
I can not believe this is suppose to replace or recommended to replace the boost it spray. That spray was perfect, it protected against heat and gave me volume. I would use it after a work out to re-boost my roots and straight out of the shower when blow drying and it never built up or was greasy or to heavy, this sleek it spray just cant compare. PLEASE BRING BACK BOOST IT SPRAY!

bring back Boost It Blow Out
I am so disappointed that this is L'oreals recommended (on the site) replacement for the Boost It Blow Out Heatspray. The Blow Out Heatspray was amazing. I have fine hair but a decent amount of it and the discontinued product was great for protecting and adding thickness. I have used many Heatspray protectors and this one was by far the best if you wanted body as well. Others left my hair flat. This Sleek It product might be good for some but definitely not a replacement for the Boost It protectant. The Sleek It leaves my hair flat.

Drying & Smells a Bit Odd.
Bought 2 from my local Rite Aid since they were on sale for 2/$8 & I was in need of a new heat protectant. Was honestly very hyped to try it out. Sprayed all over & combed it through my hair and also sprayed it through sections while straightening - as usual - but I ended up finding that the scent was personally off putting & that the product was very drying to my hair. I would describe the scent as that of baby wipes / baby products. Could be worse, but it hasnt ever been a personally pleasing scent to me so that kind of added to my automatic dislike. As for the being drying, I normally apply a quarter size of styling oil afterwards and itll look shiny and smooth without being too much or looking greasy. Minutes after applying the oil, my hair went back to a dull and dry looking texture. Running my hands through it was like running my hands through hay & even the change in texture was apparent.

Not so great
I bought this a couple of months ago and I liked it at first but after using it several times I noticed that it wasn’t protecting my hair from the heat of my straightener. I have way more split ends than what I started with and I usually only straighten my hair 1-2x a week. It did help keep the frizz away and made it super soft and sleek. But I bought it for the heat protection and it doesn’t seem to do it’s job. Won’t be buying again.

works well, but don't overdo it
This works well to get smooth, sleek hair. However, if you apply too much, it leaves your hair greasy and oily looking - not exactly attractive.

Ok product
So decided to buy this to straighten my hair and liked it initially. However, he did take some getting use to applying the correct amount and not saturating your hair. It all depends on the texture.

Smells Amazing!
I bought this a few weeks ago and am very pleased. It smells great and seems to protect well from humidity. ( I live in Missouri...quite humid.) I was hoping it would add a bit more shine than it does, but will absolutely buy this again.

i been using this product for a few months at first i liked it then it started making my hair oily. I use to use smooth intense ultimate straight straight perfection balm. I still have a little left well i used it yesterday i can not believe the difference with my hair I like that product so much better why take a good product off the market and replace it with this sleek stuff.

LOVE IT... but..
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT but the nozzle seems to not want to spray sometimes and it just comes out dripping. I've cleaned it and it acts like it doesn't want to pump. Maybe it's just the bottle I bought. Other than that great product and great smell!

Terrible experience

Good for a few hours
Brought this product to give it a shot & after the first use I regretted it, the smell is over bearing & not pleasant. It just didn't work for me personally.
P.S I have tile floors & when spraying this product if any got on my floor it made my floor so slippery, idk why but it did

Horrible bottle
Product works "ok". I have wavy hair and it does help straighten it with the help of my flat iron. However, this is my second bottle that after a few uses, clogs up, sprays wherever it wants, runs down my hands, on the floor ☹️. I though the first one I got was just a bad bottle. Won't be buying again

This is by far the best haircare product I have used. Whenever I use it when straightening my hair, it leaves it feeling incredibly soft, shiny and straight. Plus it smells great! It is super easy to use and doesn't leave my hair feeling greasy. Definitely would recommend it!!

The pump bottle is terrible, and the smell is too much. The cheap nozzle twists and is hard to controll the steam of droplets. My hair was smoother than if not used, but no way near a three day straight. Also the entire bathroom floor was deadly slippery like a skating rink from product spatter, now if it only made my hair as smooth!

Love Love Love this product! Finally I found something that smells nice, works great , doesn't make my hair sticky or greasy on my naturally curly hair!
Only negative would be that it makes my floor after styling my hair very slick or slippery! Weird I know. So be careful.
