Very Hydrating and Plumping

This product feels super nice on the skin. I applied it after getting out of the shower and it gave me a very smooth and plump finish. I didn’t even feel like I needed to layer a moisturizer on top because it’s that hydrating. It doesn’t leave any sticky residue like many serums do either. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because I wish it was fragrance free. Otherwise, it’s great!

Feels nice but didn’t work for me

This one was tough for me because I really wanted to love it, but for whatever reason my dry skin was not a fan. I’m not sure if it was the fragrance but it burned, although on my hand the texture felt great and had a nice consistency. I may try again when my skin barrier feels stronger

I am really enjoying using the L’Oreal collagen moisture filler serum. I love the way it firms up my skin and gives me a more youthful appearance. After all the rave I decided to try this and really loved how it made my skin look! It worked well under makeup and gave me a natural look. However, I am prone to getting reactions with scented products... of course, this was no exception. There is literally NO BENEFIT from adding fragrance to skin products so always disappointed when they do. The scent is pleasant, don't get me wrong, but not good for your skin. I hope they make an unscented version and I'll be over this product and repeat buyer.

A Respectable Serum at Its Price Point

I really liked this serum; I did feel that it was quite hydrating and smoothing after application, and I have had some dryness recently, and felt that it really soothed my skin. I also definitely noticed the glow effect that came from the sort of pearlescent texture of the product itself. I think that this product would be best for someone with younger skin, in their teens or 20s, I didn't notice anything lacking in it, but I don't feel that it performs like some of the luxury serums that I use on a regular basis. It seems like it works just fine, quite well given its price point, in fact, but I definitely wouldn't consider it high performance in terms of really transforming the skin. I think it would be best for someone who has fewer concerns and wants to maintain or start caring for an already good complexion, and who does not yet need more powerful actives and ingredients.

Affordable alternative - sensitive skin caution!

I have been trying out L’Oréal’s Collagen Moisture Bounce Serum to see if it lived up to the hype. In many ways, it does: the texture is nice—milky-pearlescent, lightweight—and it absorbs fairly quickly. Right after applying I get a boost of hydration, and over a week or so my skin looks slightly more radiant and plump. I also like that it layers nicely under moisturizer and makeup without feeling too heavy. On the flip side, there are a couple of drawbacks. First, if you have sensitive skin (like me), it can sting or feel a bit irritated after use, especially around more delicate areas. Second, there’s a fairly strong chemical/fragrance scent to it which some days bothers me more than others. It doesn’t linger super long, but definitely noticeable when applying. Overall, I’d say this serum is decent for someone looking for affordable hydration and glow—but if you’re sensitive to fragrance or prone to irritation, it might be worth patch-testing first.

Unfortunately this triggered my eczema and made me so itchy. It did apply nicely and felt nice at first, but I'm scared to try it again. I usually don't have sensitivity/reactions to skincare products so that was disappointing. The label was also kind of crooked.

I didn’t even feel like I needed to layer a moisturizer on top because it’s that hydrating. It doesn’t leave any sticky residue like many serums do either. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because I wish it was fragrance free. Otherwise, it’s great!

It worked well under makeup and gave me a natural look. However, I am prone to getting reactions with scented products... of course, this was no exception. There is literally NO BENEFIT from adding fragrance to skin products so always disappointed when they do. The scent is pleasant, don't get me wrong, but not good for your skin. I hope they make an unscented version and I'll be over this product and repeat buyer.

I also definitely noticed the glow effect that came from the sort of pearlescent texture of the product itself. I think that this product would be best for someone with younger skin, in their teens or 20s, I didn't notice anything lacking in it, but I don't feel that it performs like some of the luxury serums that I use on a regular basis. It seems like it works just fine, quite well given its price point, in fact, but I definitely wouldn't consider it high performance in terms of really transforming the skin. I think it would be best for someone who has fewer concerns and wants to maintain or start caring for an already good complexion, and who does not yet need more powerful actives and ingredients.

In many ways, it does: the texture is nice—milky-pearlescent, lightweight—and it absorbs fairly quickly. Right after applying I get a boost of hydration, and over a week or so my skin looks slightly more radiant and plump. I also like that it layers nicely under moisturizer and makeup without feeling too heavy. On the flip side, there are a couple of drawbacks. First, if you have sensitive skin (like me), it can sting or feel a bit irritated after use, especially around more delicate areas. Second, there’s a fairly strong chemical/fragrance scent to it which some days bothers me more than others. It doesn’t linger super long, but definitely noticeable when applying. Overall, I’d say this serum is decent for someone looking for affordable hydration and glow—but if you’re sensitive to fragrance or prone to irritation, it might be worth patch-testing first.
