This is a wonderful and natural looking product for people with acne and acne scars. I have very oily skin, and this doesn't break down and wear off like all of the liquid concealers that I've used in the past. I find that it applies best with a tiny smudge brush that I used to use for eye makeup. Directly applying with the tip of the crayon can leave harsh edges and a cakey finish. The smallest amount makes a huge difference!

One Star for the New Formula

This used to be an awesome concealer until they changed the formula. Despite the folks at L'Oreal insisting that the formula has not changed - it has. The pictures attached clearly shows that. The original had a smaller tip, and although shinier than the new fatter tip, it was a matte finish. The new formula is so greasy it doesn't cover and it doesn't last. I drew a line in ink on my hand and held it to the light. You can see how the newer formula is shiny and doesn't cover the line, while the old crayon did. Very disappointed L'Oreal!

What pencil sharpener can I use for this?

Like the product but it has been a NIGHTMARE finding a sharpener that will sharpen this product, therefore I have leftover product I cannot use. The crayon is 15mm and L'Oreal doesn't have a sharpener for this? Makes no sense.

I have tried every high end concealer out there and this is my favorite for blemishes and around nose area. Goes in smoothly, blends easily, coverage lasts and doesn’t break me out. I don’t have “bad” skin just a random blemish here and there. This was perfect! I don’t like wearing foundation and this blends so well, I don’t need to!

L’Oréal True Match Soft Cover stick that WORKS

I’m over 60 with light skin and very dark under eye circles that can’t be helped with “ under eye creams” . I’ve tired high dollar brands but this one actually covers yet is a soft crayon. My skin is dry, light and a few freckles and age spots. N4-5 shade has a touch of peach with counters the blue tones in my circles. Find your shade. Easy to carry in your bag for a touch up.

Would it not be possible to have less space at bottom of this roll up crayon eye concealer? There is a good amount that does not roll up so you’re selling it for the actual amount but a big portion of that can’t be used without digging it out

For best results, turn the Crayon gently in the sharpener 3 or 4 times, being careful not to apply excess pressure. After sharpening, remove all shavings from the blade edge. Your sharpener should be replaced whenever the blade has dulled and is no longer giving the expected results. We hope this information helps!

I thought that I had the wrong shade with the latter, but after trying a different shade, neither worked as a cover. It is greasy, translucent on the skin, and doesn't blend in. It just smears and then disappears. I wish I hadn't wasted my money.

(I mean, it's called a "crayon," but really?) It seems the product is a bit creamier in texture now, which is nice, but the first time I swipe it under my eyes, the tip breaks off! This has happened with EVERY TUBE I've used in the past couple of years. I have to squish the tip back down on the base, but it still comes off every time I use it. SO FRUSTRATING! Why don't you make the tip more rounded and less pointed? There is no way to twist the new product further down into the tube. I am not sure I can buy this product any more, and I do love it. Nothing else works as well on my very dark undereye circles. I would like a replacement product, please. Maybe the amount in the base - after the tip breaks off - will make up for what I lost in that tip. Please contact me to get my mailing information so you can send me a new tube. Thank you.

I've tried EVERY concealer and this one works without causing irritation or further breakouts Some I've used just make the breakouts worse. The consistency is just right...it's soft, but not liquid (obviously), I carry 2 colors with me at all times (fair and 4-5).

The formula is decent, I think, but it's hard to say because I couldn't wear it out in public. I'm a very fair-skinned redhead with neutral-cool undertones. The old L'Oreal Infallible stick concealer (in the red tube) was my ride or die concealer from the moment I started wearing makeup to the day it was discontinued. (I don't think I'll ever forgive L'Oreal for getting rid of it.) I have a strong preference for stick concealers, because liquid formulas don't work well on my skin and potted creams are inconvenient. Unfortunately, I've yet to find another stick concealer that works on my extremely pale skin.

The original had a smaller tip, and although shinier than the new fatter tip, it was a matte finish. The new formula is so greasy it doesn't cover and it doesn't last. I drew a line in ink on my hand and held it to the light. You can see how the newer formula is shiny and doesn't cover the line, while the old crayon did. Very disappointed L'Oreal!

In the past 5 to 6 months the formula is NOT the same! Its super creamy and greasy and not matte like it used to be. It does not cover anything anymore. I have literally gone to every local drug store and bought the old inventory. Now i have no choice but to look for other options. Please, please go back to the formula with the smaller tip that was matte!

It is now so oily and thin that it doesn't cover anything and doesn't stay in place no matter how much I set it. I now have to go through the trial and error process of trying to find something that is like what this used to be! Are you phasing this product out?

I personally do not have the time to go purchase another product to use with this to help it set. I would rather pay more to change it back. I have found another brand that comes very close and stays on so unfortunately had to jump ship. I will keep my ears open in case I hear the product gets better.

I have been using this for almost 5 years and a couple of months ago I noticed it was soo oily and went to a couple of different stores to try and see if it was just the one I had bought, unfortunately I bought 3 from different stores and they al turned out the same oily texture. Really really wish the formula hadn't changed.

But the product cubes a few months ago and now it's too oily, it doesn't set properly even if a setting powder is used on top of it. I'd love it if the older formula was used for this concealer.

I have extremely dark circles and this would cover fabulous and I barely had to touch up during the day. Just bought a new package and I HATE the new formula. It is too greasy, feels like it slides right off and within an hour, my dark circles are showing thru and I have to reapply not to mention that it settles in the fine lines around my eyes and creases. So disappointed. Time to find a new concealer

I'm very loyal to products that I love, but the last one I bought is different. The product is not the same, it is way too oily .I really wish you didn't change anything about it..It was perfect!!! It covers my spider veins(I have to very red ones on me cheek) and sort of covers dark circles, but it also creases multiple times through out the day. I've tried setting it with powders, but it just doesn't work!

It was perfect for my extremely oily skin and great and covering acne scars, but the most recent time I purchased it I could immediately tell that the stick looked shiny. I have been unable to find w678 in the stores in San Diego ca. This concealer is a must have. It covers up my acne scars beautifully. I was afraid it had been discontinued. But I found it on the L'Oréal website. Please continue to offer w678 for us light skinned brown girls!! I love it it's non greasy and provides a great smooth non oily finish.

I have very oily skin, and this doesn't break down and wear off like all of the liquid concealers that I've used in the past. I find that it applies best with a tiny smudge brush that I used to use for eye makeup. Directly applying with the tip of the crayon can leave harsh edges and a cakey finish. The smallest amount makes a huge difference!

It wasn't the best for blemishes for me because when I put on foundation/powder, it would come off fairly easy and look like I had done nothing to try to cover them. I now use the liquid concealer (True Match in N1) and it works worlds better for me than the crayon, personally. But this is really good for covering veins.

But bc 1) I usually love all things L'Oreal that I have tried, and 2) after Prevention magazine named it top choice as concealer, I bought and am disappointed bc it didn't conceal either alone, or under or over their True Match liquid foundation. The only things good were its easy application and relative low price compared to Sephora products or department store brands.
