Is it really waterproof?
Is anyone else finding this mascara to be not truly waterproof (flakes when met with humidity, tears, rain, etc)? I do give it credit for not running, but it is so flaky when met with any moisture and it washes off at the end of the day like any washable mascara. I am also struggling with the fact that when I try to build my lashes up with their recommended 15-30 strokes, I end up with clumps and globs. I bought this because of the influencer videos I saw recommending it, but now I'm thinking that they were paid to promote it.

Flaking and Irritation
I have been using Loreal mascara for 40 years ... with Splashout being my all-time favorite. I struggled to find a mascara after Splashout was discontinued. I tried this mascara about a year ago and initially fell in love with it ... but, the last two tubes I have purchased are flaking terribly ... and the flakes get into my eyes causing irritation and tearing ... what is going on Loreal?

Brand New - No Brush on the Wand
I can't really review the product itself because the wand was missing the brush when I opened the brand new tube of mascara. This was not the waterproof formula, but the regular wasn't an option, so here I am. I purchased the product from a Walgreens in northern Arkansas Wednesday, July 2, but I didn't get a receipt because we were on vacation and didn't anticipate a problem. I just wanted the company to know that quality control was missed on the package I got.

Brush keeps tearing up appart
Product is great, but this is the second time I've bought it and each time the tip of the brush breaks off (the last one was good for a couple of days!!!)... it's sooooo frustrating! This has never happened to me before with other brands, it's a shame because it's a great product but I wouldn't consider buying this a third time and risk loosing my money over a flaw in design

Gooped up before halfway through the tube.
I originally liked the mascara but didn't love it. The brush is too small for my lashes. It started out fine but not even halfway through the tube, it started gooping up bit time. It's so thick on my lashes that It takes forever to get the excess off and sort them out. I had to throw it away and go back to the Paradise which is what I was using prior to the Big Deal. It may have been a bad tube but I won't take a chance on it again.

The best mascara EVER!
I have tried many different brands of mascaras at prices ranging from $10 to $40. This Paradise Big Deal mascara is by far the best I've ever used! I am 61 years old and have thin, short eyelashes that have never looked so long and thick. I have bragged about it to all of my friends and I HIGHLY recommend this mascara to everyone! I just hope that L'Oreal never stops making this product.

Clump Resistant...NOT!!!
Clump Resistant?? I think not. This is the worst mascara. The wand is probably the culprit here. The tiny nonexistent bristles cant separate the lashes. It just clumps the mascara as soon as you put it on and the more you try to play with it the worse it gets. I regret buying this product so much.

Worked well in rain and no smudge!
Got caught in the rain otw to work and the mascara didn't run or smear even when I rubbed my eyes! Also had to take my contact in and out to clean them and the mascara still stayed and didn't smudge! Loved it! Was gifted this for a review but still use it! Made my lashes look amazing!

I was gifted the L'Oréal Paris Waterproof Mascara by L'Oréal Paris in exchange for an honest review, and here's my take: The waterproof version holds up incredibly well throughout the day, even through a little sweat or rain, and doesn't smudge or flake off. The formula is just as smooth as the washable one, providing great volume and definition.
Once applied, it stays put until you're ready to remove it. It may take a bit more effort to remove compared to the washable version, but the lasting effect makes it worth it.

The L'Oreal Paris Paradise Big Deal Volumizing and Lengthening Mascara is everything a mascara should be! I was gifted this product from Loreal in exchange for an honest review. This may not be just Loreal but usually waterproof mascara just does not work for me. I thought it went on my lashes pretty clumpy. If I got a thin application of product I felt like it only took a few hours to clump up. It also didn't keep my lashes lifted for long. That being said I have short straight eyelashes which is difficult when choosing a mascara. I think this product paired with an eyelash curler and some longer lashes would probably work extremely well!

Absolutely Love!! Would repurchase
Let’s start with the design of the mascara.. I really enjoy the bottle itself and the size of the tube and the applicator is nice. I enjoy also the colors the brand chose for this specific product and think it is a well designed aesthetic. Next after my first use I can honestly say that I absolutely love this product and was extremely happy with the results after using. I need to have my mascara on 24/7 and this product is just amazing. I felt like it helped with lengthening my lashes by making them look long and full and the color was just perfect. The product was easy to take off with my makeup remover and left no issues. Overall I think this is a well designed and beautiful product. I will definitely be repurchasing and using L’Oreal products forever because they are well worth it and great quality. Would recommend for anyone in the market for a new mascara brand. Survived a Beach Day (and the sunscreen tears)!

Let me tell you - this waterproof mascara means BUSINESS! I put it through the ultimate test during a Super hot beach day for my little winter vacay (Mexico). Between the humidity, sweat and sunscreen dripping down my face, and jumping in the ocean for some impromptu photos, this mascara didn't budge AT ALL.
What impressed me most is that despite being so waterproof, it doesn't feel heavy or make my lashes stiff. The brush design grabs every single lash from root to tip, giving amazing length and volume. Even my shorter corner lashes look dramatically longer. Zero clumping, zero flaking - just beautiful, defined lashes that lasted ALL day.
Pro tip: Use an oil-based makeup remover to take it off at night. Regular makeup wipes won't cut it (which is actually a good thing when you need your mascara to stay put!).

Wedding-proof mascara—but hard to take off!
I wore this for the first time to my cousin’s wedding, and wow—it did NOT budge. It lasted over 12 hours without flaking, smudging, or rubbing off, even with all the dancing, hugging, and a few happy tears. The volume is amazing, and the brush makes it so easy to get every lash without clumps. The bristles separate everything so nicely, so it never looks heavy or messy. Taking it off was a bit of a struggle, even with makeup remover and balm, but honestly, I’ll take that over panda eyes halfway through the night. Lash paradise and Voluminous butterfly give birth to = big deal!
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this mascara. Once i saw the packaging i was convinced this is the lash paradise 2.0, after wearing it - i got a different impression.
This mascara is great for people who have short lashes and want a big difference to showcase their eyes.
I have long lashes and i like a very particular indivial long lash type of look, unfortunately it didnt do that for me. Just as the picture in the packaging shows it makes the lashes look super spiky and very fanned out. The brush itself is designed to coat every corner and little lash to make it pop out. It just feels a bit uncoordinated on my lashes !
I highly recommend to people who have short, lashes. Adds volume but not too much length

A Gorgeous waterproof mascara lash lift
As I’m sure you already know, it’s always a struggle to find a good waterproof mascara as it either will stay on but leave marks under your eyes or won’t actually stay on. I was gifted the product L’Oreal Paris Paradise Big Deal waterproof mascara in exchange for an honest review and I would honestly say that I am pleasantly surprised with! Unlike most waterproof mascara, it isn’t chunky at all when applying it, and it actually stays on while looking good in the water. I actually even had trouble taking it off so I recommend using a Meisler water that can remove waterproof products. Overall, it extended my eyelashes to a gorgeous length without having to do a lot of strokes so if you’re looking for a good waterproof mascara along with one that makes her eyelashes lifted and long I highly recommend it!

I usually stick to washable mascaras, but I’ve actually been loving the waterproof version too. It stayed put all night (literally no smudging), and even after a full day of wear, my lashes still looked lifted. It’s definitely long-wearing—like, it gives that slightly-there mascara effect for days after, which I weirdly love. It does take a little more effort to remove, but nothing crazy. Same as the washable one, it layers really well as long as you don’t over-apply. If you need something that lasts through anything, this one’s worth it.

The L’Oréal Paris Paradise Big Deal Waterproof Mascara truly delivers on its waterproof claim—it lasts all day without smudging, even through humidity, sweat, and tears. If you need a mascara that won’t budge, this one is a great option. The formula provides solid length and volume, making lashes look fuller without clumping.
However, while it excels in longevity, it falls short in hold and lift. If you have naturally straight lashes, you might find that it doesn’t maintain a curl as well as other waterproof mascaras. Additionally, removal is a challenge—this formula is incredibly stubborn and requires a good oil-based cleanser to take off completely.
Overall, if you prioritize long wear and waterproof performance, this mascara is a solid choice. Just be prepared to use an effective remover and possibly pair it with a good lash curler for better lift.

Loved this product!
I was gifted this product by L’Oreal Paris in exchange for an honest review. I actually really liked this mascara. It coated my curly lashes really well and I was suprised at how long they looked. The wand did make me nervous at first but it glides on perfectly and made my lashes look amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great waterproof mascara. Would definitely buy again once I run out!

Elongated my lashes!!

Great mascara for volume and length!
