Feria Power Toner, Long Lasting Anti Brass Toner

Great question. I had the same. If you bleach your hair and completely dry if after, you can use the toner on the same day. Hence, at the salon, it is referred to as double process (bleach out pigment first, then add the right color tone/shade). Keep in mind that your current color has everything to do with which product to use, so be mindful of that. The darker your natural hair, the more shades you have to bleach upward. I am light brown and Nordic in type, and I use the hyper platinum bleach. Once that has dried completely, I put the ice blond power toner onto the roots first, and then a tiny bit on the rest of the hair. The toner is a matter of between 2 and 5 minutes. Leave it longer, and you run the risk of getting the gray-ish/purple/brown shade, so leave the water running, race through the toning process, and the second you see it turn the right shade, that icy Park-Avenue-Blonde, run and rinse!!! This has taken me YEARS to perfect. At the salon, it costs around $600, so once you get the hang of it, it's worthwhile. SIDEBAR: if your hair is brown or dark brown, I would consult with an expert first bc you need to know how many shades you have to bleach up. If your hair is very dark, my advice is don't do it yourself. Anything from light brown and up, you are good. Again, bleaching first and must be completely dry, then add the toner and watch it like a hawk. Be ready to rinse. Good for the people who travel a lot.

Hi Katiekat! Thank you for your interest in Feria Power Toner. It should be applied to clean dry hair, left in 5 - 10 minutes.
With gloves on, add a small amount of warm water to the hair
and gently work mixture into lather. Rinse thoroughly until all of
the toner mixture is removed and the water runs clear.
Follow with your regular conditioner.
