I was able to really see results that lasted throughout the day, and my hair wasn’t left feeling weighed down or sticky. It gave me the exact right amount of texture and volume without overdoing it. Overall I was very pleased with this product

This mousse definitely gave me some volume. It also left a somewhat sticky residue in my hair, so I wouldn’t use this more than once between washes. Light fragrance, nothing super noticeable.

A good volumizing mousse

I received this product free from Influenster and L'Oreal for my honest opinion. I put it on out of the shower and do my hair in a French braid and let it dry. It dries nicely, if a little stiff but combing it out with fingers helps. The volume is awesome. It doesn't dry my hair or scalp. I would recommend this product.

Not a fan of the crunch

I like this mousse I am actually almost out of it however I think the only I don’t like about it, is that it doesn’t feel crunchy in your hair after a while. It doesn’t smell good and give volume to my hair while helping keep my curls though

No difference in volume

The texture of this mousse is soo light and fluffy when it’s first dispensed. I don’t think I notice a big difference in volume when I use it versus when I don’t. It may make my hair slightly more tacky to hold volume immediately after blowing it out, but it doesn’t last. It may just be the nature of my hair but it always falls flat after an hour or two. I think the scent is coconut(?) and I don’t particularly like it. And this may just be a me problem but I find that my scalp smells strange after using mousse. Maybe it’s my super oily scalp mixing in with the mousse. I don’t think I see any benefit to using this mousse

This mousse is my absolute FAVORITE!! Every product from this line has been so amazing! I’m gonna have to repurchase soon because I’ve used basically the whole can! It does not make your hair feel crunchy or hard it makes it feel so weightless but will make your hair hold a curl or wave so nicely! The smell is amazing not overpowering and the packaging is durable very cute! I 100% recommend this product!

This mousse didn’t do much for me, I don’t see much of a volume difference after blowing out my hair and it makes the texture of my hair a little sticky. It leaves a dirty feeling after just being washed. I didn’t love this product.

I only used this product once since I typically wear my hair straight or curly. I naturally have pretty straight or wavy hair so didn’t feel like it did much for me. I would probably recommend if I had curly hair! It smells good tho and didn’t feel heavy when I did use it

So I used this in conjunction with the shampoo and conditioner from the same line and did find that it did have a decent volumising effect on my hair. It has a pleasant scent but can feel like the product is still in the hair and needs to be blow dried out. I would use this if I needed my hair to look particularly bouncy or voluminous for an event. It held the style well too.

Nice airy mousse, good scent and doesn’t leave residue

I like this best before blow drying, it gives a nice boost even if I don’t use a round brush. It smells great and a little goes a long way, you have to be careful pressing on it though cause a lot comes out. But it melts in and doesn’t leave me with hard or sticky hair so I think you’d have to use quite a bit before it would leave residue. Definitely helpful for styling my thin hair since most products weigh it down. I’m glad mousse formulas have improved because they used to be sticky and heavy regardless.

Where’s the Volume?

I appreciate that this mousse doesn’t leave my hair stiff or sticky like so many other brands do but what it is lacking is volume. I could barely tell any difference when using the mousse compared to using nothing at all and I even dried my hair upside down to help.

It smells great and a little goes a long way, you have to be careful pressing on it though cause a lot comes out. But it melts in and doesn’t leave me with hard or sticky hair so I think you’d have to use quite a bit before it would leave residue. Definitely helpful for styling my thin hair since most products weigh it down. I’m glad mousse formulas have improved because they used to be sticky and heavy regardless.

I used didn’t think I could use it on my straight and thin hair. So I was so excited to try the L’Oreal Paris Elvive Collogen + Peptide Big Lift Volumizing Mousse! The Elivive is my FAVORITE. There isn’t a product I don’t love, and this wasn’t any different. I didn’t have to shake well, then remember to use a smallllll amount, because it really puffs up!! It spread nicely through my hair and most importantly, did not leave it crunchy or overly textured. I found the fragrance to be very, very light. And ultimately, my hair blew out as normal. What I noticed is it had a little more control, if that makes sense….not as many fly-aways, plenty of bounce, and noticeable volume that lasted through most of the day. The next day, I touched up with the dry shampoo, and could easily get another day out of the style. I didn’t see myself going back to mousse, but this just might be a repurchase for me!

It's fluffy and pleasant to the touch when applying, and expands significantly. My only gripe, which is a bit of a personal preference, is that I find the scent a bit strong and overbearing when I apply it, but this doesn't bother me once it dries down.

My hair is thick but extremely flat. This has giving me lift and it holds throughout ny day. I only need to use a little bit and still have quite a lot of product left. It dries nicely and I haven't had any issues with it looking like crispy little fries.

I've only tried mousse before from tresseme and one from my hairdresser. It is very comparable to tresseme. This gives me volume after applying to damp hair and blow drying. I use a blow dry brush. There isn't a texture left over or a stickiness. The scent is really nice. I would recommend this mousse.

The l'oreal elvie big lift volumizing mouse locked in my curls without either of those. After washing, just a small handful was enough to coat my strands and as it dried, it kept the curls without the frizziness. It also has a light fresh scent that matches the coordinating shampoo in conditioner. The packaging is slim and sleek and the starburst of the nozzle made it easy to control how much I dispensed.

Using this has added extra bounce and no frizz! I didn’t have a sticky or crunchy feeling either. It held all day and throughout the evening. Perfect for easy summer lake days. The dispenser is nice and I was able to easily control the amount I wanted.

It was easy to use, just shake and use push on applicator. I had damp hair when I used it. I concentrated mainly on my roots and tried to fluff it up. I got some volume and I could a bit of difference and no brittleness which I appreciate it. I will definitely be using it again. Happy with this.

This mousse adds volume to my aging, thinning hair. Most of the time I wear my hair straight but even on my straight days my hair isn’t flat and stuck to my head since using this - it has more volume. With my thinning hair, it never occurred to me to use a mousse being a mousse is so lightweight. I love the smell, this whole line smells so fresh, a little sweet and a little floral and the smell lingers in my hair all day. The only reason why I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I cannot speak to the collagen peptides claims yet - I suspect I have to use this for at least a couple months to see a difference in my scalp health.

Doesn't cause that cakey build up if you know what I mean. Easy to wash out especially with same shampoo. Just need a little product. If hair longer maybe a quarter size will do. No frizz either.
