Beautiful golden skin
I love this bronzing lotion. It smells delicious and leaves a beautiful glow that you can build up in a daily basis. It is easy to apply and the texture is just like a regular lotion. It’s a must try!

Improved
Ive used their self-tanning products in the past, and Im happy to say, I think they improved! My thoughts
- I dont think its as moisturizing as a real lotion, so i still had regular lotion when applying
- its not perfectly streak free, but improvement from past.
- barely there scent - yay!
- I think it works well when you have a base tan and want to extend it

This is a decent gradual tanner. The scent is the typical self tan scent but it isn’t too overpowering. The lotion consistency is pretty easy to apply.

So nice
This was a nice serum to try so far I tested it and it works good I can see a tan! This absorbs well on my skin, when I blend it out I don’t notice any patchiness. I love how easy this is to use this is gonna make summer fun this year!

Well Performing
I was pleasantly surprised with the Sublime self tanner. It applied really easily without the typical self tanner strong scent. It delivered a natural looking tan that stayed true to form for a few days without additional application. I will definitely continue use.

Not for me
I have tried several tanning lotions and oils. With some brands I have been able to find success, but most of them leave my skin looking orange and smelling terrible. Unfortunately, this was also the case with this lotion. The original scent is pleasant but as it develops on my skin, it smelled terrible. The scent lasted for 2 days, so if you don't like the fake tanner scent, just know this one lingers. However, unlike other tanning lotions that I have used, this one was easier to remove off of my skin after using a scrub and some oils.
As you can see from my image, the tan was not even although I distributed it evenly all over my skin. I let the lotion fully dry before putting my clothes on and still was left with marks where my pants were touching my skin. On some parts of my legs the lotion had completely rubbed, leaving my skin super blotchy and uneven.
The lotion itself is very hydrating and easy spread all over the body. I love the pump applicator that I can easily apply just the right amount on my skin.
I am glad I tried this product but unfortunately it wasn't for me, and that's okay.

Glowy Skin
I am impressed with this sublime bronze face and body self tanning lotion. First off, it smells great! Smells like a coconut summer scent which I love! It’s white like a lotion, but after a few hours you get a nice glowy l, natural looking tan. I like that it doesn’t give off a tanning scent and you don’t have to wash it off. It’s a win for me!

Beautiful face serum that gives a glow
I use retinol, so it’s kind of hard to use this every single day, but I try to use it on the off days of my rent and also it doesn’t peel or cause any sensitivity. It gives a nice settle glow and it doesn’t smell bad like some other tanners for the face

Subtle glow
L’Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze Hydrating Self Tanning Serum in Lotion is perfect for those that aren’t the best with tanning lotions. This formula gave me a subtle glow. It was lightweight, absorbed quickly, left no tackiness. It blends easily and left no streaks. I also found it didn’t transfer on my clothes. It had lasted a few days. Definitely a new staple in my routine.

Soft glow. No harsh scent!
I’m very pale yet also very red/pink. This gives a subtle glow without turning orange. It also has a pleasant scent, which I appreciate because other self-tanners I’ve tried generally smell bad or too strong. This is pleasant and subtle. East to apply. No residue or streaking if applied correctly.

A must have
I am going to be honest. At first I thought that this product would not work but I was totally wrong. It did work very well!!!! So far i did only one application and the results are very good. It is really amazing!!!
I love the smell and the texture is very nice.
The color tanning is very nice and still looks good after 4 days that I did the application and leaves no residue.

No streaks!!
These self tanning formulas have come a long way!!! L’Oréal Paris Sublime bronze hydrating self tanning serum in lotion makes tanning at home really easy.
I make sure to exfoliate my skin before application so it applies better. I also apply with latex gloves.
This formula is lightweight and blends out easily. Just spread it anyway you want it to go and allow it to dry down before putting on your clothes. I leave it on for at least 4 hours before taking a shower.
When I follow the directions, I don’t experience any transfer. Now the important part, this does not look streaky or blotchy on skin. It’s just so easy!!

Patchy patchy patchy
This product was very disappointing for me. I had high hopes. I’m a seasoned at home tanner. This came out extremely PATCHY. It was easy to apply & the serum like texture was very nice. So sad this product didn’t work for me.

Lightweight and Easy to Apply!
Very nice! This tanner is lightweight and easy to apply. I love the cream/serum consistency. Smells like a classic tanning lotion, which is a pleasant tropical scent. After applying this on my hand for photos, I wiped it away, but it still left coloration on my skin. It applied beautifully with a brush. I look forward to using it all summer.

Normally I am very pale complexted. This self tanning lotion gave me a beautiful glow. I feel like the longer it developed the browner it turned. I was a little worried because of how orange it looked at first but it’s beautiful. You have to be very careful to pre moisturize dry areas like elbows, feet, ankles, and fingers before applying. It did settle a bit on those areas. It didn’t appear streaky. It dried super fast so I didn’t notice transfer on clothes or bedding. Make sure to wash your hands or they will be orangey. I had a time with my hands because the lotion didn’t develop very good because of how much I was my hands. It lasted about 3 days before I reapplied. It did make my face break out so I don’t recommend putting it on sensitive skin.

I have really pale skin and to me, this product was pretty streaky. I’ve tried numerous other brands so I know what I’m looking for and this is just not it. The packaging is simple and easy to use and has a twist lock pump. I really wasn’t happy with what I ended up with after exfoliating and adding lotion beforehand to the places like my feet and ankles as well as my knees. And there’s no color to the actual product so you can’t see where you need to blend or apply more to avoid streaks. The product does moisturize and does add plumpness to the areas it’s applied. But I would never feel confident enough to apply it to my face where the streaks could be seen easier. And there’s also the fact that it’s very heavily fragranced and I know it would absolutely break me out. I left it on overnight and when I woke up I could smell the same typical self tanner stink that most of the tanners have. And it was super strong. For all these reasons I wouldn’t recommend it. And it didn’t just streak on the tricky areas. It was streaky all over my leg, up and down my leg. And it took forever to dry down, however, it did not stain my clothes or sheets. But unfortunately, it’s a no go for me.

Smells great!
I applied this self tanning serum on my left leg. I applied a lot since I’m naturally tan and i followed the directions and waited 2 hours. Unfortunately it’s the same color as my skin tone but i still love the smell of it! It comes out white and smells sooo good. It absorbs fast and doesn’t get on clothing. Even though it doesn’t quite get me tan i will still use it in the summer

Tans as advertised!
Was very interested in this as it doesnt need to be rinsed off and works for both the face and body. It tans very well and if you need a deeper than it easily tans your skin with a second application and works within 1-2 hours! Also wears off nicely and though im not a big fan of a tanner smell thats left behind this one smells lighter than most ive tried which is a plus!

Unnatural color
I received this product for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I really wanted to love this product, but it gave my moderately fair skin an unnatural color. I was careful around my ankles, but it left them looking streaky. Another issue I have is the smell. It has a tanning bed smell to it that I find undesirable. There was no residue or stains on my clothes/sheets. Unfortunately, this lotion was a no go for me.

Nice formula…orange color.
Sooo I consider myself an amateur expert self tanner. Haha. I even own a spray tan machine that I use on myself but a lot of the time I simply prefer the lotions or mousses because I just don’t want to get the whole machine out and make a mess.
With that said… the color on this is not great. Rather orange and that is MY BIGGEST self tanning fear. Looking like an oompaloompa is not on my bingo card for any year and I’m glad I tried this is the summer because…well…we are entering Willy Wonka territory.
So, unless you have very olive skin this is not the color for you.
I still gave it 3 stars for good reasons. The lotion is smooth and light. Left no streaks. I applied with my hands (which I would never normally do) but I wanted to try it. Washed my hands after and no self tanner hand disasters. It also did not transfer onto my clothes and seems to be relatively hydrating.
All in all the formula is really nice but the color is off. I would not buy again but might work for some of you.

Beautiful glow
I was weary about this to be honest. I haven’t had the best luck with self tanners, but the serum aspect had me curious. These results are after one use and I thought it was pretty good! It did not transfer onto my clothes, it was odor free and didn’t leave me feeling sticky. The color was a soft tan versus orange, so that’s great. I only wish the bottle were bigger and the product were more buildable and you didn’t have to use so much.

Convenient tan
This is the first time I’ve heard of a tanning lotion that had technology to tan and bronze you without pigment to stain your clothes and sheets. It smells beachy like coconut and does apply like a lotion. I did once application and didn’t see much difference but the next day I did another application and I’m definitely more bronze, I wish I took a before picture but on my review you can see the line of demarcation between my skin that didn’t get the 2 layers of L’Oréal serum in lotion. It went on like lotion, it wasn’t greasy, and it didn’t stain anything I wore or laid on.

It works!

Pretty good
This product scared me at first but it is very gradual and natural so no orange color that you are stuck with for a week scrubbing. The smell doesn't smell like most self tanners which is a plus for me. Goes on smoothly and hydrated, it also dries pretty quickly. Haven't got patchiness yet but I've only tried the product two times now.

Okay does it work Yes but it's very sneaky because it's a lotion a white lotion and it takes two to four hours to process so when you think you got it off your hands and then 4 hours go by and they turn brown in between your fingers and everything yeah my suggestion is it does work but you better use something beside your hand to put it on This is not a lotion.

I was so excited for a serum and bronzing product in one. I had high hopes of soft skin and a subtle glow. Instead, I got a rash, no glow and a headache from the intense perfume in this product. It also stained my towel after I showered which is shocking since I see no color change on my skin. Straight to the trash with this one!

I want to be suspiciously tan for the winter...
Really nice lotion! First photo shows the texture and second shows the result after a day of application on the right leg. Light and refreshing on the skin without an offensive scent like other drugstore tanners. Feels nice on the skin and dried down without any residue feeling. The result wasn't intense but I believe another application layer would get to the preferred shade for me. Easy application - after testing on body I think it's okay to try on my face as well. Looking forward to summer!

Good formula and nice color
I enjoyed that this is lotion formula but it made it a little difficult to see wear and how much you used on each area. The application wasn’t even. You can see streaks on my leg. It probably takes practice to get it even and right. I tried not to use that much product but it did provide a light tan that looks pretty natural. I don’t look orange or too dark. I only went up to my knee to show the difference in color. You can see in the picture that it did in fact tan me lightly. Can’t wait to use it in the summer because I don’t like to tan in the sun.

I'm going to start with what I liked. The thin bottle and push top made it easy to hold and apply the lotion. The formula is thin and goes on like a serum and dries down quickly. It does hydrate the skin however I should have put a layer of moisturizer on top of it as I have super dry skin.
What I didn't like is the smell. It's... weird. Unattractive weird and not what I'd call coconut. While the pictures don't really show much difference in my bathroom light, it did turn me a shade of orange. Not bronze. It's a no for me and my pasty pale pinkish skin.

Once you tweak it, amazing self tanner
I didn't expect to be this impressed by this product. It definitely is more of a self tanner than a slow build color. I only did one application and I got considerable color without it being orange, truly pretty natural looking. Maybe the greatest note, it does not have that self tanner smell! Smell is coconut but it's not overwhelming and it doesn't have that signature self tan chemical smell. Very beachy. Be wary, I took a shower and it faded into the legit perfect tan...that also means this did not completely wash off with soap. I'm obsessed with the post wash results though, not orange and not super obvious after some practice. The lotion itself is nice and I have no complaints. Only concern would be going too heavy on the face but I am excited to use more of this.

Heavenly hydration
This self-tan lotion is the most hydrating one I’ve ever used. It absolutely feels more like a serum than a typical heavier lotion does. It gives the skin a really nice glow too. I also enjoy the smell! It’s so summery. I feel like this bottle, although not huge, will still last a good while because a little bit really goes a long way. Can’t wait to use this a few more times to see how deep the color can get!

I wanted to love this product but sadly it was not what I hoped for. I love self tanners for my legs and so when I found out I would be testing this in exchange for my review I was excited. It is a serum so it does go smoothly onto the skin and dries in about 10 min which I loved. I also thought the fact that it didn’t have a typical self tanner chemical smell was great but that’s about where the benefits stopped for me. After one application I definitely had noticeable color but it was streaky and uneven . I was surprised at how dark it got after one application but it looks like this just isn’t for me sadly.
