I have read such great things about this new conditioner and decided to give it a try. The texture is very thick and it was pretty hard to penetrate into my hair as easy as it does with other conditioners. At first i didnt think this would leave my hair soft like other conditioners but surprisingly it worked really well. I was scared that itll leave my hair feeling oily but it didnt. Wish the texture was lighter though

Go back to old formula

I wish I could give a higher rating but things have changed. A few years ago I had my whole family and many friends switch to this because it was amazing. That being said now not so much. Everyone started telling me how they had to switch because it wasn't as good..I stuck with it. So a couple months back I found a bottle from maybe a year and a half to 2 years ago in a vacation bag. I used it and just amazing! Please go back to your old formula. I used to love it!

This is the best product for fine/dry/brittle hair

At 60 years old, I was having a terrible problem with my once oily hair being so dry and breaking. I found this product by sheer accident and I can't say enough about it! My hair breakage has been drastically reduced and it is once again soft and silky! My only complaint is that it does not come in a travel size and I either have to pack full size bottles or constantly refill my own travel bottles.

Amazing results with Elvive Extreme Conditioner

This daily conditioner repairs, smooths and hydrates my hair. Without it's regular use, my hair would be dry, brittle and broken. This product adds restores the elasticity, silkiness and manageability making styling easy and gives a healthy shine.i have used this for a few years but because sometimes I am unable to find it in store, I have tried several other Elvive and salon products. None have compared to the great, lasting results I get with this product and with it, I have no need for specialized deep repair treatments. I am now purchasing online so I won't run out again. I hope L'Oreal never stops making this.

Elvive ruined it

This was the only conditioner I used for years; it was perfect. My hair felt great and smelled amazing. I know they say there were no changes with Elvive, but there were. Now it hardly has any scent. I am have been buying all different brands of conditioners now trying to find something I like.

REVIVED my dead hair!!!

4 months ago I stupidly let someone use my hair to learn how to bleach hair. She left my hair completely lifeless. It was dull, stringy, falling off and breaking. I was shedding more than my dog. I wasn't financially able to go to a pro so I began using this conditioner along with the shampoo, of course.
I am not exaggerating when I tell you these products are AMAZING. Since the very fist time I used it, I felt the difference. I use all of L'oreal hair products now and only L'oreal.

This product is amazing! My hair was feeling dry and I kept seeing the commercial for the product. I looked at the reviews and they were all good, so I purchased. I have to admit I was skeptical that it would work after one use. Well it does! I've used the shampoo and conditioner once and I can tell a HUGE difference. My hair feels amazing! So soft! I often use other L’Oréal shampoo... this conditioner I threw out full after one use. My hair tangles into mats... after 45 painful minutes I cut my 25 inch hair off in a spot to 3 or 4 inches and toss the lock of hair out with the handful painfully pulled from my head as I tried to untangle the mat that just seems to remat.... my hair feels heavy and gooey with this conditioner... I decided It was worth the risk yo use it a second time!

I have dry, color processed hair and it was feeling like straw. I found Total Repair Extreme and my hair never felt so good! Then L'Oreal made a change to "Elvive" and my hair feels like I put grease on it. I don't like the "improvement".

I loved the old formula

The new formula Elvive is nothing like the Total repair extreme. I don't have damaged hair, but have a thicker curly hair that isn't easy to get a comb through. The Total repair was the best conditioner I had ever found, then they changed it and I am having to buy it off amazon for a higher price. Its like it went to the black market. I want the my conditioner back.

I have used the regular total repair conditioner and shampoo from L'Oreal for a long time. When the new ELVIVE products came out, I wanted to give it a try! This conditioner!! OMG! I love the series because I have super brittle like short curly hair that's been bleached many times and my hair was breaking off faster than it was growing I've been using this line for about 12 months now and it has really made a difference in the texture and the overall feel and look at my hair plus I've gained about 5 in which is a lot to me thank you for this product line
