This is hands down the best cream I have ever purchased in life. I have been using it for over a week and a half and I can already see the difference in my face. My skin is supple and hydrated and it has given me an added bonus of an amazing glow in combination with the cream cleanser I use in the morning. As a person of colour I can definitely say that there are products within L'oreal's line that are for me and that is a rare find these days.

I noticed it was getting harder to find at most stores. I had been using for many years and recognized this as the same pattern of many beloved products that were discontinued. After finding it online I ordered several to stock up. I was surprised when I opened the first box since it was not the same texture and it doesn’t provide the same moisture as the prior version! At first I thought something was wrong, but learned a change was made. Please go back to the old formula that I love. The version that I drove out of my way to other stores trying to find. The one that I was planning to stock pile, only to find that is now like the other ones on the market that made me a devoted customer of the L’Oréal hydra manuka honey day cream!

I had problems with the other cream the " wrinkle correctors" my facial skin burns and a sort of heat rash just broke out. So i actually decided to try this particular cream because of the honey consistency and i skin started to improve,i also didn't like the smell of the other creams, one because i dont like fragrances in my facial products. however ,this cream the smell is fine, my face felt calm, even though it was the night cram i was able to wear it under my makeup and it work, and held up pretty well. I would recommend this product.

Excellent for my mature, previously dry skin

I am 80 years old and though I have very few wrinkles, my skin is dry and sensitive to the many expensive and inexpensive moisturizers I have used. This product amazed me. Absolutely no allergic reaction and after just 3 days, my skin feels so much better. I am looking forward to seeing how much better it will get.

I have used expensive creams of different brands and none of those other Mede my skin feel and look like this particular cream with manuka honey. L’Oréal has but, this is my favorite. My sisters also have dry an dull skin, just like me and this cream works the best by far!

Maybe good for realy dry skin?

I love L'Oreal products but... This item smells great. The cream is stiff when initially applying, but softens up while blending on to skin. My main issue is that it feels wet/sticky after the cream is applied, to the point I look very greasy. I've never applied foundation after using this product due to the "pooling" of oil.

I used to love this product but the formula must have been changed. It’s not as thick and there is a noticeable, unpleasant odor after application. I thought maybe I’d gotten a bad batch, but purchased another and same complaints. Very disappointed L’Oréal changed the formula.

The cream has change the formula and now I had chemical reaction with my l’oreal eye cream. Never a problem with old formula. The old formula lasted longer on my skin too. This new formula wears off easily.

Way too thick to spread easily

Idk how this can be called "hydra-nutrition." It is so thick and hard to spread, I am sure I am doing more damage to my skin by pulling on it to spread this cream than any benefit I was hoping to achieve. I had to mix it with Cereva just to get it to spread. I love Rosy Tone Moisturizer so was very disappointed with this product. Makes me not trust buying another one. Would like a refund. Thank you

I have extremely dry skin on my face. This is the ONLY cream that helps my skin . Yes is thick but that’s what makes it work . For people who are looking for a thinner consistency cream this is not for you . L’Oréal , please, never never stop making this cream . Is already hard to find where I live .

Love this Moisturizer!

I use this creamy miracle-worker at night after cleansing. Next morning, my 63 year-old skin is soft, smooth and plump. Fine lines and wrinkles? Not so much anymore! It seems to have improved my skin's texture and reduced my pores. This cream feels like high-end, but is much more affordable. It's very rich, so I can only use it at night. Those with very dry skin may be able to use day and night. But, it has really improved the look and feel of my skin. Highly recommend!

pore clogging, old-fashioned scent

I can not use this on my entire face, as the area around my chin then gets very large pimples -at almost 70 this is not my body talking! Also bothered by the scent which reminds me of my grandmother's Elizabeth Arden from the 50's. Have been wearing it as a day cream. What alternative is there?

i love this stuff! i have mature 52yo skin that is prone to the occasional blackhead or pimple so i usually steer clear of "dry skin stuff" BUT i had a coupon for it and bought a jar. i use it mostly around my eye area or shall i say "crown area"...:) it feels like i am giving my skin/aging eye area a treat!!!

It's so thick! At first I thought maybe I had a bad jar, but doing a little research online and it appears that this is how it's supposed to be. I was looking for smooth and creamy. I have to scrape some from the pot and rub it between my palm to get is somewhat spreadable and it still pills on my face. Spreading butter would probably be easier. Very disappointed.

Horrible. Stay away from this!

Many have written in the comments that this has discontinued but I have the newer packaging and it's still the same cream. The texture of this cream is like a putty, very thick and does not melt when you rub it between your fingers, whatsoever. You'll probably get wrinkles trying to rub this anti aging cream onto your face. And when you think you have managed to apply this on your face, it starts pulling and just bunching up. It doesn't work with any other skincare product underneath it or on top of it. This is a horrible cream. I'll steer clear from loreal skincare in the future and you should too.

In the middle of winter... my skin is so dry... This product has been awesome!! I love it...I put it on, I wait a few minutes and use L’Oréal infallible foundation ... and it goes on so smooth... Wonderful other than fragrance

I love the texture of this cream and how it makes my skin feel. The fragrance is overpowering and I am very sensitive to that so cannot use it. If this came in a fragrance free formula I wouldn't buy anything else.

I found this on clearence at Target (because the box was crumpled on one corner) and I needed a "normal" moisturizer to go with my other serums. Wow is this the thickest moisturizer I have ever used and I love it! I have very dry skin, though not yet in the mature category... and with this I think I will be staying out of the mature skin category. So emoillent! Soaks right in with no "rolling up" later, you know what I mean. The smell is like beeswax and it has beeswax in it, which is probably what makes it so thick. This product also has shea butter, so shea butter allergy folks be aware.

Sadly, I have found it to be waxy and heavy. I’ve used the revitalize lift line and have found that to be both light and effective. This particular product was not a homerun for me.

just over a month ago, I don't even really know where to begin except to say this may sound corny but I totally loved this honey day cream. It really helped keep my face moisturized, and replenished. It wasn't too thick it wasn't too thin it was just right. I love the way it smelled, and it did that you would take my skin. A plus that I found out about it was I went outside one day and I forgot to put it on I was rushing and my face felt so dry and cracked. I came back into the house put it on went back outside and it was perfect, I don't know if it was created for this but let me tell you it definitely protects your face from the harsh Winter Winds. I received free for testing purposes

We are urged to ensure that our daily moisturisers should contain a UV protector and your other moisturisers indeed do, however, this product (apparently designed for sensitive skin, which I have) would not seem to contain any SPF. If not, then why not?

I had been using for many years and recognized this as the same pattern of many beloved products that were discontinued. After finding it online I ordered several to stock up. I was surprised when I opened the first box since it was not the same texture and it doesn’t provide the same moisture as the prior version! At first I thought something was wrong, but learned a change was made. Please go back to the old formula that I love. The version that I drove out of my way to other stores trying to find. The one that I was planning to stock pile, only to find that is now like the other ones on the market that made me a devoted customer of the L’Oréal hydra manuka honey day cream!

So i actually decided to try this particular cream because of the honey consistency and i skin started to improve,i also didn't like the smell of the other creams, one because i dont like fragrances in my facial products. however ,this cream the smell is fine, my face felt calm, even though it was the night cram i was able to wear it under my makeup and it work, and held up pretty well. I would recommend this product.

The cream is stiff when initially applying, but softens up while blending on to skin. My main issue is that it feels wet/sticky after the cream is applied, to the point I look very greasy. I've never applied foundation after using this product due to the "pooling" of oil.

Fine lines and wrinkles? Not so much anymore! It seems to have improved my skin's texture and reduced my pores. This cream feels like high-end, but is much more affordable. It's very rich, so I can only use it at night. Those with very dry skin may be able to use day and night. But, it has really improved the look and feel of my skin. Highly recommend!

I was looking for smooth and creamy. I have to scrape some from the pot and rub it between my palm to get is somewhat spreadable and it still pills on my face. Spreading butter would probably be easier. Very disappointed.

The texture of this cream is like a putty, very thick and does not melt when you rub it between your fingers, whatsoever. You'll probably get wrinkles trying to rub this anti aging cream onto your face. And when you think you have managed to apply this on your face, it starts pulling and just bunching up. It doesn't work with any other skincare product underneath it or on top of it. This is a horrible cream. I'll steer clear from loreal skincare in the future and you should too.

Wow is this the thickest moisturizer I have ever used and I love it! I have very dry skin, though not yet in the mature category... and with this I think I will be staying out of the mature skin category. So emoillent! Soaks right in with no "rolling up" later, you know what I mean. The smell is like beeswax and it has beeswax in it, which is probably what makes it so thick. This product also has shea butter, so shea butter allergy folks be aware.

It really helped keep my face moisturized, and replenished. It wasn't too thick it wasn't too thin it was just right. I love the way it smelled, and it did that you would take my skin. A plus that I found out about it was I went outside one day and I forgot to put it on I was rushing and my face felt so dry and cracked. I came back into the house put it on went back outside and it was perfect, I don't know if it was created for this but let me tell you it definitely protects your face from the harsh Winter Winds. Rated 3 out of 5 by Annette2018 from Needs more anti aging actives I received this product from Influenster.  It has a great texture and is a great makeup base.  It makes the skin feel softer but is not an antiaging or skin repairing product lacking key antiaging ingredients and antioxidants.  It is best used with an antiaging serum.  L'Oreal can do better with its product skincare line for mature skin.  They could include ceramides, retinol, peptides...proven antiaging ingredients for aging skin.  Mineral oil as an ingredient on top of the list is not reassuring.   I received this product complimentary for review purposes.

I'm always a little skeptical when I see claims about how moisturizers work on aged skin. However this moisturizer really surprised me with how well it worked. It's a very light cream which is not greasy and lasts the whole day. It also has a very light mild scent that is pleasant. I've received several compliments from friends and family who have all mentioned thought my skin looks better than it has before. I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a moisturizer that actually works on skin that is a little bit more mature.

It looks really thick when you first open it, but when applied it melts into the skin leaving a non greasy softness to the skin. I love the feel of it after it’s applied. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is that compared to the night balm I feel this leaves less of a silky layer on the skin after it is absorbed almost requiring another application before using make up. But that could just be my skin.

As a woman with a sandpaper forehead, I love what this cream did for my extremely dry skin. It's thick, like a balm and I love how it feels on my skin. I gave it 4 stars solely for the scent. I don't mind scented products, but this wasn't a favorite of mine. I know scent is different for each individual, but it had a perfume scent that I wish was different. I will say that I can't smell it after it has been applied, so I will continue to use it as I love what it does for my skin.

It has a lovely texture—stiffer and waxier, if you will, but disappears beautifully into my skin. Doesn’t ball up or sit on the surface and I swear it helps my makeup go on more smoothly. Does seem to help fine lines and although I know this isn’t one of its claims, it seems to halp make my pores look smaller. Not too heavy, not too light, non-greasy, and it doesn’t break me out!! It was not very far down the list. For me, this was too thick to wear under my foundation. By the middle of the day, it made my foundation break down. It takes a few minutes to fully absorb and then I'm able to apply primer and foundation without any issues. I have combination skin, and this cream moisturizes the dry areas without making my t-zone oilier. It has a light pleasant smell and has not irritated or caused breakouts on my skin. I do like the product, it does moisturize my skin fairly well; but I think I'm going to look for another daytime moisturizer. I received this product for free through Influenster; and aIthough do like the Manuka Honey Night Balm and the Manuka Honey Eye Gel, I will probably use the Manuka Honey Day Cream when the weather has a tendency top be cooler.

It does have some fragrance, which I usually studiously avoid with my sensitive skin, but it's not overly strong and hasn't caused a reaction. I have noted some tiny whiteheads occurring around my mouth and nose after using this. Overall, it works well if I avoid those areas. I received a complimentary jar to test and review.
