This is probably the most natural looking blush I have ever used, which is a good thing in my case. I use the color that matches the foundation and powder shades. Others I have tried have been to harsh, red, or bright, making it look like I got hit on the side of my face, or they are too light or flakey, not lasting more than a few hours. During the week I usually apply the blush at 6:30, and don't have to reapply for a good 8 hours. Excellent product.

What Happened??

I loved, loved my precious peach blush. It was perfect with my skin tone and just the subtle amount of color I needed. I purchased a replacement today and thought color looked off. Well, it is completely different. The new peach practically matches my skin tone (like foundation), rather than adding a little pink to my cheeks. I will be returning and looking for a new product. The changes are the worst!

Has the formula changed?

I’ve been buying this blush for many many years. There have been more than one occasion when I couldn’t find it in Tender Rose and have had to go to multiple stores and/or order online but I know that I use a popular shade and I need to plan ahead so it has not been a problem. Overall, I’ve been very happy with the product but the last purchase (February 2026) has crumbled away and is gone in just a month. I bought two (at the fourth store I visited) and it is crumbling as well. I’m hoping these were from an unusual bad batch but am wondering if the formula was changed. I hope not because I’m not buying new blush every single month!

Still No Brush Included

I have been buying this blush in Baby Blossom for years. It's the perfect blush. However, it doesn't come with the little flat brush anymore. I have kept my little brush and transfer it to the new blush but I can't do that forever. I don't understand WHY Loreal doesn't include a brush anymore. I just bought the blush again and thought it would have been fixed by now, but no! Still no brush. I guess they don't read customer feedback.

I have been purchasing Baby Blossom and Tender Rose for years! Love them. I never used the brush that used to come with the package. I have blush brushes that work much better.

I’m a cool, pale girlie who uses Spiced Plum (C7-8). I bought some new recently, and it seems like the color is warmer than it used to be. A cool-toned blush shouldn’t go warm brown or orangey on a cool pink undertone. Sadly, I can’t use this anymore.

IMPORTANT - do not purchase before reading

This is a great product and I have been wearing for many years! Like many of the other reviews I was shocked to find out there was no brush in the compact. Who would have a mirror without an applicator. I do use a blush brush on initial application but am now having second thoughts about rebuying since I can no longer touch up. I have been in the cosmetic industry for several years and understand packaging refreshes and updates but if you look at your reviews you have a lot of unhappy people. This needs to be addressed with your marketing department and ultimately sales directors as they will see the end result in loss of sales. Best to address before it is too late and on the next category review in stores they discontinue the items to poor or lack of performance. Honestly, I went back to CVS because I thought I had received an opened package with the mirror missing. I went back to the store and checked only to find out none of the blushes have mirrors. I went back to the CVS website and it states the item comes with a brush. You better have your marketing department reach out to CVS supply chain to let them know they are out of compliance and giving incorrect information. Pictures can be provided if needed.

Poor quality of compact

I love the blush, but the container is terrible. The hinge breaks and then the top breaks off. I bought a second one, was very careful with it and the same thing happened. I loved the old container. I will have to look for a new product, and I have used this one for years.

Bad new container design. No brush to apply!!!

I have been using this blush for years. I was surprised to find out when I recently purchased this blush that Loreal had not only changed the container but also that there was no longer a brush included to apply it. How are we expected to apply it. The container also scratches easily and is not as sturdy as the previous one. The square container will make it more difficult to get the product out of the corners. The round container made that easy.

Inconvenient blush

I've used this product for several years in the round compact, which came with a brush. The new square compact no longer contains a brush. Are we supposed to apply it with our fingers, or carry a separate brush around in our purse in a plastic bag? It's no longer user friendly, so I'll be looking for another brand in the future.

Where's the Brush???

I have been using this blush for years and was surprised when I bought a new blush at CVS that the brush was missing. At first, I thought maybe I just got one that was missing its brush, but after doing some research online, I was very disappointed to discover that L'Oreal has decided not to include a brush in their blush now! How am I supposed to apply it now that I've thrown my old blush/brush out? I don't want to have to buy another brush. Listen to your customers and bring back the applicator brush, L'Oreal!

Along with all your other previously loyal customers, I am very upset that you have stopped including a brush in your True Match blush. I am very fair and Baby Blossom was perfect, and I used it for years. No one wants to buy a separate brush and then figure out a way to store it to keep it clean, plus you can forget carrying it with you. This was an extremely cheap move on your part. Shame on you!

Blush Brush gone!

I've used this Blush for over 20 years and was very pleased with the natural look of the Blush and it stays on all day. My last purchase I was terribly disappointed to see the Blush Brush is no longer included in the package, but the price was the same! How can one travel light when they have to add a separate Blush brush to their bag? Shame on you L'Oréal for only looking at your bottom line and not caring about the customers who use your products.

No brush

I have used this product for years and have been completely satisfied. Until today I opened a new one only to find no brush in it where the brush always is. I brought it back to the store to exchange but none of them had a brush in them (there is still the compartment for it). Now I learn on this website it no longer comes with a brush. The price did not go down but the quaility did. Even the response to this issue from L'oreal is disappointing. I am sad to see a product I really enjoyed cut corners like this.

No brush

Before finding out that you discontinued including a brush I would have given this blush five stars. I have used the Tender Rose for many, many years and I have loved the product. I am currently purchasing it through Amazon’s Subscribe and Save plan to assure that I always get my color and always have a new one waiting. I have two in reserve. I just finished one and opened a new one and it had no brush. I thought it was a quality control mistake until I checked the other and found no brush. That’s when I went to this site and read all of the complaints about the lack of a new clean brush in a new blush compact. Unfortunately I will no longer purchase L’Oreal True Match Blush. I am so disappointed. I can’t imagine that it costs very much to include that handy little brush. I would prefer to pay a little bit more for the product and get the brush each time.

I have been using your True Match blush for years. My most recent purchase of this blush came without a brush which I was sure was a quality control error. I checked out the reviews on your site to find out you discontinued including the brush. What was more disappointing was the generic response from your marketing team to all your loyal customers regarding this. Now I have to carry a separate blush brush in order to apply the True Match blush. Big fail on the part of L'Oreal. I hope the savings to L'Oreal was worth the loss of customers.

The container breaks EASILY!

Container breaks. This is the 3rd time I've tried buying the round container of true match blush and every time the hinges broke. No more brush?!

I have used this.blush I'm Tender Rose for years and like others wasnveey disappointed with the new packaging not including a brush. Most retailers descriptions say brush included. There is even still an opening on the bottom with the mirror like before and plenty of room for a brush. Even more confusing some of the new ones did contain a brush at my local walmart, but most didn't. So why not did some have it others not? For the price there should definitely be one included in my opinion. I'll probably still purchase this but bot 100% sure at this point, I returned the one I bought thinking it was just a mistake, unfortunately the only couple with a brush were a different color. Sick of all the prices going up and quality going down.

Not happy without a brush!

I have purchased true match 7-8 blush for many years. However, I recently purchased a new one only to find out that a brush was not included. There is plenty of room for one. Thankfully, I didn't throw my old brush away.
What a product killing marketing mistake!

Compact broke quickly

The blush is nice, but I liked the L’Oreal mineral blush applicator so much better. The lid to this compact broke off with about a month, which was disappointing. I can’t find the Loreal mineral blush anymore, and I wish I could!

I have used true match blush for years. Where is the brush? I bought a new blush just before vacation. Opened it when I got to my destination...no brush???????

Unhappy you took away the enclosed brush!

Have used this product happily for many years. When purchasing new square packaging recently, I found there is now no brush included. I tried to store my current Loreal True Match brush in the new packaging, but it doesn't fit. Please bring back the brush and a place to store it in the case! Next time I need to replace this product, I'll be looking to see if there's a brush or if I need to look for a new blush made by another company with a brush included.

NO BRUSH

I have used this product for years and always been satisfied with it. The first new package I bought was just okay. The new case shape is harder to use. You can't get in the corners like you could the round one. It is also flimsy. The first one had a brush. The second one I purchased there is NO BRUSH with it. I liked the old brush better. This one seems to leave a lot in the brush.

No Brush - No Blush!

Like so many others who left a review, I have been using this blush for years. I was also frustrated by the change in the case, okay I got over it. But no brush? What a bad marketing move! Come on folks, there are plenty of other makeup companies that would love us to have a reason to go looking for a better option. It's the little things that keep customers like me and this is one of those things.

Where's the brush ??

I just bought this product and I am very disappointed that there is no brush. There is plenty room in the compact. The price has gone up and there is no brush.

Need to cost cut? Cut the mirror not the brush!

Very unhappy! Do not know what is going on with these cosmetics companies. Sell powdered blush without an applicator (brush). Other companies sell foundation powder without an applicator (sponge). What do you expect people to use to use your product? Are there plans to put the blush brush back in the compact? A brush inside the compact keeps everything neat and easy to put in your purse. Your product is very good and I have used it for years. Would like to continue to use it but need a BRUSH! Would appreciate an answer on your plans.
