IMPORTANT - do not purchase before reading
This is a great product and I have been wearing for many years! Like many of the other reviews I was shocked to find out there was no brush in the compact. Who would have a mirror without an applicator. I do use a blush brush on initial application but am now having second thoughts about rebuying since I can no longer touch up. I have been in the cosmetic industry for several years and understand packaging refreshes and updates but if you look at your reviews you have a lot of unhappy people. This needs to be addressed with your marketing department and ultimately sales directors as they will see the end result in loss of sales. Best to address before it is too late and on the next category review in stores they discontinue the items to poor or lack of performance. Honestly, I went back to CVS because I thought I had received an opened package with the mirror missing. I went back to the store and checked only to find out none of the blushes have mirrors. I went back to the CVS website and it states the item comes with a brush. You better have your marketing department reach out to CVS supply chain to let them know they are out of compliance and giving incorrect information. Pictures can be provided if needed.

Poor quality of compact
I love the blush, but the container is terrible. The hinge breaks and then the top breaks off. I bought a second one, was very careful with it and the same thing happened. I loved the old container. I will have to look for a new product, and I have used this one for years.

Bad new container design. No brush to apply!!!
I have been using this blush for years. I was surprised to find out when I recently purchased this blush that Loreal had not only changed the container but also that there was no longer a brush included to apply it. How are we expected to apply it. The container also scratches easily and is not as sturdy as the previous one. The square container will make it more difficult to get the product out of the corners. The round container made that easy.

Inconvenient blush
I've used this product for several years in the round compact, which came with a brush. The new square compact no longer contains a brush. Are we supposed to apply it with our fingers, or carry a separate brush around in our purse in a plastic bag? It's no longer user friendly, so I'll be looking for another brand in the future.

Where's the Brush???
I have been using this blush for years and was surprised when I bought a new blush at CVS that the brush was missing. At first, I thought maybe I just got one that was missing its brush, but after doing some research online, I was very disappointed to discover that L'Oreal has decided not to include a brush in their blush now! How am I supposed to apply it now that I've thrown my old blush/brush out? I don't want to have to buy another brush. Listen to your customers and bring back the applicator brush, L'Oreal!

I have used this product and been a loyal customer for over 20 years. Just like all the customers, I am extremely disappointed there is no longer a brush included. Does it really save the company money if everyone stops buying the product? Time to look for a new company for all my beauty supplies.

I actually love this blush and have used it for years. The blush itself is a 5 star product. However I was so surprised & disappointed with my last purchase to find that you no longer include a brush. This totally changes things for me, i now give it 1 star and i will not be purchasing again.

No brush! Are you kidding me?!?
Along with all your other previously loyal customers, I am very upset that you have stopped including a brush in your True Match blush. I am very fair and Baby Blossom was perfect, and I used it for years. No one wants to buy a separate brush and then figure out a way to store it to keep it clean, plus you can forget carrying it with you. This was an extremely cheap move on your part. Shame on you!

Blush Brush gone!
I've used this Blush for over 20 years and was very pleased with the natural look of the Blush and it stays on all day. My last purchase I was terribly disappointed to see the Blush Brush is no longer included in the package, but the price was the same! How can one travel light when they have to add a separate Blush brush to their bag? Shame on you L'Oréal for only looking at your bottom line and not caring about the customers who use your products.

No brush
I have used this product for years and have been completely satisfied. Until today I opened a new one only to find no brush in it where the brush always is. I brought it back to the store to exchange but none of them had a brush in them (there is still the compartment for it). Now I learn on this website it no longer comes with a brush. The price did not go down but the quaility did. Even the response to this issue from L'oreal is disappointing. I am sad to see a product I really enjoyed cut corners like this.

No brush
Before finding out that you discontinued including a brush I would have given this blush five stars. I have used the Tender Rose for many, many years and I have loved the product. I am currently purchasing it through Amazon’s Subscribe and Save plan to assure that I always get my color and always have a new one waiting. I have two in reserve. I just finished one and opened a new one and it had no brush. I thought it was a quality control mistake until I checked the other and found no brush. That’s when I went to this site and read all of the complaints about the lack of a new clean brush in a new blush compact. Unfortunately I will no longer purchase L’Oreal True Match Blush. I am so disappointed. I can’t imagine that it costs very much to include that handy little brush. I would prefer to pay a little bit more for the product and get the brush each time.

NO BRUSH WITH THE BLUSH!!!
I have been using your True Match blush for years. My most recent purchase of this blush came without a brush which I was sure was a quality control error. I checked out the reviews on your site to find out you discontinued including the brush. What was more disappointing was the generic response from your marketing team to all your loyal customers regarding this. Now I have to carry a separate blush brush in order to apply the True Match blush. Big fail on the part of L'Oreal. I hope the savings to L'Oreal was worth the loss of customers.

The container breaks EASILY!
Container breaks. This is the 3rd time I've tried buying the round container of true match blush and every time the hinges broke. The makeup rarely travels with me, so it's not like it's getting tossed around a lot. Every day use and after a short period of time, I'm holding 2 pieces of it. Sorry, done with it now!

I was pleased with my initial experience with true match blush, loving the subtle blend of color it gave my cheeks. I purchased another only to be disappointed to find no applicator brush. I returned it to the store figuring it was a slip up, only to find that none of them came with an applicator! Thank goodness I saved my old brush!!

No more brush?!
I have used this.blush I'm Tender Rose for years and like others wasnveey disappointed with the new packaging not including a brush. Most retailers descriptions say brush included. There is even still an opening on the bottom with the mirror like before and plenty of room for a brush. Even more confusing some of the new ones did contain a brush at my local walmart, but most didn't. So why not did some have it others not? For the price there should definitely be one included in my opinion. I'll probably still purchase this but bot 100% sure at this point, I returned the one I bought thinking it was just a mistake, unfortunately the only couple with a brush were a different color. Sick of all the prices going up and quality going down.

Not happy without a brush!
I have purchased true match 7-8 blush for many years. However, I recently purchased a new one only to find out that a brush was not included. There is plenty of room for one. Thankfully, I didn't throw my old brush away.

Compact broke quickly
The blush is nice, but I liked the L’Oreal mineral blush applicator so much better. The lid to this compact broke off with about a month, which was disappointing. I can’t find the Loreal mineral blush anymore, and I wish I could!

Unhappy you took away the enclosed brush!
Have used this product happily for many years. When purchasing new square packaging recently, I found there is now no brush included. I tried to store my current Loreal True Match brush in the new packaging, but it doesn't fit. Please bring back the brush and a place to store it in the case! Next time I need to replace this product, I'll be looking to see if there's a brush or if I need to look for a new blush made by another company with a brush included.

I have used this product for years and always been satisfied with it. The first new package I bought was just okay. The new case shape is harder to use. You can't get in the corners like you could the round one. It is also flimsy. The first one had a brush. The second one I purchased there is NO BRUSH with it. I liked the old brush better. This one seems to leave a lot in the brush.

No Brush - No Blush!
Like so many others who left a review, I have been using this blush for years. I was also frustrated by the change in the case, okay I got over it. But no brush? What a bad marketing move! Come on folks, there are plenty of other makeup companies that would love us to have a reason to go looking for a better option. It's the little things that keep customers like me and this is one of those things.

Need to cost cut? Cut the mirror not the brush!
Very unhappy! Do not know what is going on with these cosmetics companies. Sell powdered blush without an applicator (brush). Other companies sell foundation powder without an applicator (sponge). What do you expect people to use to use your product? Are there plans to put the blush brush back in the compact? A brush inside the compact keeps everything neat and easy to put in your purse. Your product is very good and I have used it for years. Would like to continue to use it but need a BRUSH! Would appreciate an answer on your plans.

Surprise!!! No brush for the blush.
The new case is terrible. I have been using Loreal true match blush 3-4 forever. I noticed the case changed when I bought a new one. When it was time to use it I flipped it over to use the brush and to my surprise there was no brush. I had already disposed of the old one so I had to search in my make-up drawer to find another brush. Very disappointed.

Great product, poor design of case.

True Match Blush
Have used true match C3-4 for many years and loved it. The new cases and brushes are clumsy, cheap and takes three times longer to apply, because the white brush won’t hold much blush. You had a perfect product and brush. Please bring back the original case and brush.

Compact or Product?
I have used Loreal True Match blush in baby blossom for many years. It recently has a new compact casing. Since its new casing, the blush does not adhere to the brush when trying to apply. I also notice that the new casing has a higher rim (lip around the powder). I'm not sure if it's a newer product or the new casing causing the issue, but the quality is not as good. Very disappointing. Stick to the original it works.

blush goes everywhere because palette is so small.
There is a new look with a cheap "silver" look on the new blush true match product. I think it is hard to handle/hold and the blush is now square. The older packaging was classy looking and now I leave this ugly silver container at home. Then when taped close you can't get the sticky residue off the top. Now it looks more ugly.

what happened to my blush?
I have used this product in baby blossom color for over 30 years. Lately the product has become so compacted that it is hard to get color on the brush to get it on your cheeks. Then there is almost a metallic finish in the compact after you start to use it. I am very disappointed on the quality of the blush anymore.

The product itself has remained, the same, I think. But your packaging stinks for years and years you had the package with the brush underneath. Now there is a brush underneath, but there’s not enough space for the package to close once you start using the brush.

New Tender Rose is not like the old. Zero color.
What have you done to Tender Rose? The new version (in the new compact) leaves no color on my cheeks! Others have written the same in reviews so it’s not just me. Whatever changes you have made do not provide the same results! Not even close! Tender Rose has been my only blush for years and years. I have been shopping around and trying to stock up on the old version as your responses about “there might have been changes” 🙄 but it should offer the same results are lame run around because it’s clearly not true….and I can’t use the new product….it’s literally useless. I’m not usually a complainer but I love this blush, I’m very disappointed in the new version, and your response to the current issues is, as I noted, lame. I give a three with hope that the old version might return!

Used to be my go & now it leaves no color
Tender Rose had been my go to for years! However….My latest purchase (in new style compact) leaves no color on my cheeks. What happened!? Go to blush, but…. New version leaves no color.
I have used True Match Tender Rose for years. I recently noticed that the compact style had changed a bit. I assumed the blush would be the same but it’s not. No pigment. I apply and apply and still look pale. I thought I was losing my mind until I read a similar review from someone else, so now I’m searching for, and stocking up on, Tender Rose in the old style compacts because if the new version is so drab I won’t be able to continue using it…. Maybe (hopefully) it’s just a fluke!?!

Don’t let the quality decline
I love the color, I’ve been buying this product for years. But the formula doesn’t seem to blend and stay on as well as it used to. The packaging has also changed for the worse. Please bring back the thicker brush. I kept my old one, but it’s wearing out. The new one is thin and useless.

Needs no help!
I have used True Match Tender Rose blush for years. I don't remember exactly when I found it after a revolving door of blushes, but once I did I never looked back. This blends so perfectly, stays all day, and has been the only tone I have found that seems just right for my personal coloring (fair skin, yellow/green undertones.) I am writing this review because I recently tried to enhance my blush experience up a bit with some random cream blush, and just use this as a setting blush on top, and I haven't been thrilled. I stopped the cream blush the other day, and was immediately happy again. This needs no enhancement! I will continue with this blush powder alone as my go-to.

Chalky on Dark Skin and Barely Shows Up
So, for many years, I have passed by this blush and I’ve been apprehensive about purchasing it. Recently there was a wonderful sale going on, and I picked up the darkest blush in “Spiced Plum”. This blush was recommended for the darkest skin tones C7 through C8. I am a C9. I was really excited to try this blush out for the first time. Sadly, I was disappointed, because it turns out that the blush is really chalky on darker skin even with primer. I love the fact that L’Oreal has expanded their true match line however, they never expanded the true match line for blushes, and barely have any other blushes that work on really dark skin. What a bummer.

Terrible new packaging
I have used the tru match products for years and loved them. The new packaging and applicators are terrible. Why did they stop using the old compacts that worked so well? Please bring back the compacts that worked so well and did not leave a big mess.

No other blush like it.
Amazing, covers my skin imperfections and has a transparent quality at the same time. My sister calls it luminous. Does not appear as a solid laying on top of my skin. Will not use anything else.

Blush Color has been changed
I have used this color for years Blush-Sweet-Ginger-N7-8 and bought a new one today and realized the color was not the same as the old one I have. The color has been changed and it is a terrible color for me. Why in the world would you change the color??

Great color, but crumbles after minimal use!
I saw many people writing with the same complaint. I love this blush and actually found that it was a close match to a very expensive blush I used to use. However, the last couple of times I bought it, it crumbled after a short time of using it. I was so upset. I don't want to waste my money. I might as well buy the expensive version if it's going to last much longer.

Favorite Blush of ALL TIME!
I’m speaking on the shade C3-4 Tender Rose! It is the absolute PERFECT shade for me! I have a really cool undertone and I am pretty picky about my blush colors. My favorite colors that I like to go for are the more Mauvey tones. And let me tell you... this one is the BEST! I have tried so many different blushes and keep coming back to this one in the shade C3-4 Tender Rose! It compliments my skin tone SO beautifully and I love the bit of sheen that it has to it. I am able to wear this without highlight when I want a more subtle look and it adds just the perfect amount of glow! This blush and this shade, in particular, will remain in my makeup collection forever! Please do not ever discontinue this! I would hate to have to go hunting for another perfect blush shade all over, again, after so many years of LOVING this one!

The best
The True Match In Tender Rose is a good color for my light olive skin. I apply it with the enclosed brush in the bottom of the compact, that I found 2 weeks later. Just one light brush across the blush and it’s enough for both cheeks. The color last many hours for me. For winter I might try the lighter rose color c 1-2.

Need to try something else
The color is good on me (Spiced Plum), but am not crazy about how it just seems to sit on my skin. Maybe a cream would incorporate on me better. And, the brush leaves blonde bristles all over my face! I use L’Oreal Age Perfect and eye cream and love these!

Love the product, not the compact
I love the blush, goes on nice, good color. But the compact design is awkward. The mirror on the back side is useless if you’re trying to use it while applying the blush. I realize for packaging you need to be able to see the color but it seems like there would be a better design so that the blush could be placed on the side where the mirror is after purchase. Or just do away with the mirror.

Sparkles?!
I'm a male, only looking to cover up dark circles. Product if perfect for what I need it to do. The other day I noticed myself in the sun and there is sparkles in the blush!!! Been going to work with this product on my face, didn't notice the sparkles in my own mirror, but you can clearly see the sparkles outside in the sun. FTW. I was so angry and humiliated. WHY Sparkles?

Didn't know blush had such a poor dye-lot issue...
I thought I finally found a blush I loved...unfortunately the last 3 times I went to repurchase I have run into very poor dye-lot issues...just like paint or fabric! I've had to return and look at other retailers to try to match the color i loved initially...just tonight, I repurchased at walgreens. I usually purchase N7-8 however N5-6 was actually darker and closer to the tone I was used to....got it home and not even close!!! NOT happy and expecting more from L'oreal!!!

I love your products...however
Let me begin by saying that I love all the L’Oreal products that I’ve tried so far. However the last 3 True Match Blush’s have broken into pieces and become unusable after about 69 days of use. It happened again last week and I went to the store to get a replacement but the two in my color were broken also. Regrettably I’ve been forced to change brands for my blush needs. It appears from other comments here that this seems to be an ongoing problem.

Best blush
I hesitated to buy this blush (color Bare Honey) because it didn’t look all that exciting in the store. But it looks so good on—it has the effect of the perfect concealer/foundation plus a little color. I have pale, slightly peachy skin for reference.
