HOW TO FIND YOUR COLOR

HOW TO USE

Step 1. Twist the base of the cap.
Step 2. Shake the bottle to mix the hair color.
Step 3. Squeeze the bottle to apply the hair dye. Leave on for 5 minutes.

This stuff is the absolute best. Easy to use. Not messy. Not expensive. Doesn't stain your skin. I love it. I've been buying this from Walmart for quite a while now but they just quit stocking it for some reason. I love using it so much that I'm about to panic. Please don't tell me they're discontinuing it. I truly hope not.

I have been using this product for the last 4-5 months and the results are good. But It always works for the first time. I usually need only half the bottle for dyeing and that works fine. The remaining portion however no good and doesn't work at all. Is that how the product is designed to work? one-time use only per bottle?

I replaced “Touch of Grey” with L’oreal One Twist shade 06 one year ago and it has been great. Easy to apply and lasts 5 weeks between haircuts with just a little grey starting to appear at the end. After using it I rinse it out then put on hair conditioner first then after a couple of minutes I use a color preserving shampoo. It seems to lock in the color and the I use the same shampoo only daily. My hair stylist at the beauty salon asked me what i used because she thought it looked very natural. She didn’t think the salon would do any better.

After 25 years of not dying my hair I was afraid to try this, however my grays were really coming through and I needed to try it. It worked out well and covered my grays! The one small downfall is after a week and a half the grays are naturally coming out again I wish it would've lasted at least 3 to 4 weeks

Tried two different colors same color results

a year ago

First time I used the medium/light brown #5 and while it was easy to use and coverage was good, the color was a dark black/brown like shoe polish. Seven weeks later I tied again, this time with light brown #6 and the results were indistinguishable. Not a good match nor natural color. Not till week 3-4 did I no longer look like my grandfather who used some Grecian formula garbage. I can’t recommend these colors at all!

Otherwise, by doing repeat full head applications, due to the hair's porosity, you are left with a haircolor result that is much darker than what you intended. Is this dye permanent or demi permanent? This site calls it permanent but that it washes out in 6 weeks (that implies demi). Will this leave a line of demarcation?

Hello. I have used the product for the first time. But the simulator suggested a color that turned out to be too dark. Can i apply another lighter color right after the first one so i can lighten out a bit.

It is best to shampoo with a clarifying shampoo for a few weeks before selecting a lighter shade of color. This color will fade with shampooing preparing your hair for a lighter shade of color. I did exactly what the instructions said and the tab in the center broke off and didn't allow the color to come out of the container freely. I ended up squeezing the product (which had to squeeze extremely hard) into my hand and applied that way. Since it was my first time, I didnt keep it on the suggested 5 minutes and thankfully I did not, it came out a LOT darker than what I thought it would. I will NOT use this product again.

Nonetheless I purchased another product from Walmart again, and the same problem...the plastic opener is very feeble and breaks off easily without allowing the dye to flow out ...very disappointed..

My only complaint is that the affects only last about 5 days by day 7-14 you need to purchase and apply again making it an expensive solution compared to JFM. The package says 6 weeks but that’s fiction.

Walmart did not have the Light-medium 35 in the brush form so I decided to purchase L’Oréal light-medium 35. I followed the instructions exact & left it on 5 minutes. It is very dark brown & now I’ve got to do something to lighten. I would not buy this product again. In addition to terrible color it is very hard for my wife to get out of the bottle.

I have to get my hair colored every 3 to 5 weeks. It often involves an elaborate process. This is just convenient. I didn't have to mix and didn't have to use brushes to color up. The instructions were very clear and so I could get it done in a short time. Appreciate the addition of sample pack. I tried it before using the full product. I am sure it is valuable for first time users. Color wad good. It's only a week since I used it and didn't see any fading yet. The packet says it fades over 6 weeks. So will have to wait and see. For someone like me who travels quite a bit, this one is handy. I don't have to waste my weekend getting hair colored. Rather take one of these on the trip and get coloring done on Monday morning. Gives more time with family when I am home. Definitely a huge plus for me from that front. The previous method required carrying packs and mixing at the hotel, etc. Which I didn't feel comfortable doing. On the down side, packet says dispose off as this might burst. Not sure what happens at the garbage facility though! Hopefully it wouldn't burst on someone's eyes while there. I wouldn't want it on my garbage bin until trash pick up. Another down side is that I didn't use the full bottle as I have short hair. I ended up throwing it away anyway since it said it would burst. Felt like a lot of waste for a single use product. Otherwise a great product packaging. Usability wins.

This product gave me a much more natural look and covered the grays that I did have. It has been 2 weeks since I tried the product and my grays are still covered. After a few washes with the other products I have used in the past, the color came back right away

The instructions were easy to follow in applying the dye with the applicator on the bottle. It took some time to get use to squeezing the bottle and applying the dye at the same time but it's overall user friendly. The smell was a bit strong in the beginning but it does fade away quickly. I like the fact that you need to only leave the dye on for 5 minutes. I didn't have to use the whole bottle as I have mostly short hair. The color of the dye was natural and it did a pretty good job of covering all the gray hair. Overall this product is easy to use and efficient.

And I like the comb-like feature to basically comb the dye into your hair. What's better is that you only have to leave it in for 5 minutes and you wash it off quickly. I was slightly afraid that it would stain the scalp since I have very short hair but thankfully it didn't. I would use this again.

The design of this product makes it easy for quick application, without mixing the color and time saving. The color lasts a long time with having to color my hair very frequently. I would defintely recommend the L'Oreal Paris Men Expert Shade for it's easy to apply design, no mess and time saving features.

Unless you want that pepper look, something not everyone can pull off, you'll want to see if you can mask it. Some hair products only last days and a couple weeks so it's almost not worth the upkeep and maintenance. However, in comes L'Oreal Paris Men Expert Shade which touts over a month to keep your black hair, well...black! I love that the package contained all the items you would need so there's no fuss and no extra trips to the store. Applying it to my hair was easy, even for a first timer like me! After finishing up, I was surprised at how natural it looked! I got a sense of renewed confidence and youth! The true test was the shower at night and as I watched the water go down the drain, there was a sense of relief that the hair color didn't wash out or fade. I give this product 5 stars for following through on what it promises. Get this if you are tired of little patches of white/gray hair!

The all in one applicator works as it's designed and keeps the second guessing down to a minimum. It's super easy for dads to use, as my dad was able to easily dye his own hair alongside my help. As someone who's dyed and bleached their hair a few times on their own, I found this to be very user friendly and a lot less messy because you are messing around with a. Brush applicator, an activator and the dye. The coverage is great and it work as intended. The color looks great too and I'd go as far to say it almost looks too black lol. If you do go past the reccomend we wait time you may encounter similar experiences to the burning sensation hair dyes and bleach can cause, but we may have left it about twice as long as instructed which is why this occurred.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dmarwah from Super easy and no mess This L'Oreal Men Expert one-twist hair colour product was surprisingly easy to use and did not make a mess like a tradition hair dye/highlight kit. I got to test out 00 Deepest Black on my hair. It is an interesting and simple concept. The dye itself works quickly and didn't leave any streaks on the scalp. The colour was even and the grey coverage was great. Overall, it was easy to apply and wash out. The packaging of the product looked confusing at first especially with the skin allergy tester samples that was provided. I had some trouble trying to break the tab on top where you need to break it off and squeeze out the hair colouring. When squeezing the product of the bottle, I found it difficult to know whether you have fully used the product or is there more to squeeze out. The product itself isn't see-through. Therefore, you need to figure out how much you left of it. After five minutes of trying to get it out, I had to cut the product and obtain the rest of the product stuck inside of it. I really loved the hair dye. All I had to do is twist cap, shake and dispense. All in all, it smells really good and makes your hair soft.

The built in brush allows you to target the areas you want to cover and it dries ver quick. It blends very well and fads naturally over the next 2 months.

Don't expect it to replace the traditional way of coloring your hair as it only lasts a week or so. Pat gently and go slow to prevent big messes. My wife and I both use this product. It is very convenient for touch ups. I received this as a free sample to try.

The black color is a dark shade but looks good and fresh. I was happy to be able to use it without mixing and all the mess of regular hair color products. I would use it again.

Application is easy to apply but squeezing gets tiresome. I do appreciate how less messy and how quick it works. It's one time use so don't think of using it for quick touch ups. Would probably give this another try if they update this, for now I'll go back to the old fashion hair dye method.

The application was easy and I only had to wait 5 minutes after applying the product to my hair. The product has a nice mild scent and after I washed it off I didn't see any white hairs on my head. I had a couple strands of white hair on my head but after rinsing and brushing my hair I didn't see any. However, the orange tips of the bottle did poke my scalp a little bit when I was brushing it through my hair. Also it did take several minutes to fully rinse all the product out of my head.

This is a great product for someone who has no experience with dyeing and no one to assist. I don't have to worry about prepping, mixing, getting correct shade ... Both colorant and oxydant are in two portion of the bottle. All I need to do is twist and shake to activate the mixing. Complete process takes 30 minutes even for first time. It comes with gloves and test kit for skin allergy, so make sure to test allergy reaction. The bottle is one time use, so I cannot save the leftovers, which is a downside of this product. The black shade blends well after a couple of days. I don't think the shade would last as long as conventional products though.

It really makes no drip, no mess at all. It does not have those chemical smell. And the result is so great that able to cover all the grey hair. This is really a great product.

The only thing that could be improved on is the comb thing the bottle is designed with. It took some effort to get my whole head covered, so it would have been better if it was just a basic bottle design. Overall, would probably use again!

However, this product has been the opposite in that it is less messy and quite simply easy to use: all conveniently in a bottle that you twist, shake, and comb your hair to dye it black. My greys were fully covered and I can see myself using this product in the long term whenever needed. It works quite well.
