Don’t leave in for too long for the best outcome
The bottle says leave in for around 3 minutes if you go over that your hair WILL turn purple but it’s supposed to deposit purple. Clarifying shampoo will fix that. I have naturally black hair and this is the product that gets me to platinum white.

Works great.
I have used this shampoo once a week for a couple of years. People frequently compliment the beautiful color of my hair. Even my hairdresser asked what I use. Recently in the drug store, a woman with dull gray hair told me how beautiful my color was. I walked her over to the shampoo which she purchased. My hair is silver white, and I am 77 years old.

Staining shampoo
This shampoo discolors your finger nails. I had to use bleach on a Qtip to get my finger nails white again.. Also keep it away from fabric. It stains. Very upset about this shampoo

The Label Clearly Says Grey Hair
The Label Clearly Says Grey Hair - My mother had yellowing of her gray hair, now the yellow is gone and her hair is purple! she has washed her hair 3 times and it is still purple. I called the number on the phone and was cut off twice. The poor customer service is worse than the product.

I have been an avid user for years, my favorite being between the clay or volume shampoos so naturally assumed this would be a good addition to my routine. I used it maybe once a week for a month and it did help with my blonde vibrancy slightly however it was not worth the dry scalp, scabbing, and dandruff. I didn’t use it for long once I figured out the issue. It took me two weeks to get my hair and scalp back to normal after using it. I wanted to address the issue directly, however the customer service seems non existent.

White hair tinted lavendary, HORRIBLE!!
I purchased Elvive Color Vibrancy Purple Shampoo and my hair is tinted lavender. I have used other purple shampoos for almost 10 years to decrease the yellow and never had a problem. My hair has been rinsed and shampooed three times and the lavender is not coming out. In the What is your hair color' selection for the review, you do not have 'grey', 'silver' or 'white' as options.

Didn’t Think it Would Work!
...but it did. I am transitioning to my incoming natural silver strands. Although my natural colour is blonde, I’ve been box dyeing it a lighter blonde for many years. To make the transition easier I used a silver box dye. To tone out residual blonde and brighten the silver I used Elvira purple shampoo. So very pleased with the softer silver colour.

Amazing Product
After dyeing my hair the colour washes off fast, with this shampoo i apply it to dry hair and leave it for 1hr after i wash it out and use my normal shampoo and conditioner. It always comes out perfect.

Love Elvive shampoo and cond. bought at Kroger
Growing out my dark blonde hair with incoming gray. Had platinum highlights. Put this shampoo on dry hair for 3-5 minutes and then used the conditioner. I felt like I had a brand new head of hair! It cleaned off build up, and left my hair bouncy and easier to style. Since my hair is darker blonde the color difference was not striking, but subtly less brassy. Will use once a week!

I have used this twice and amazed at how well it works. I leave it on for about 1-2 min. It absolutely does what it says it is going to do. It is my new go to for getting rid of the brassy tones. Love it.

Wonderful product
I’ve tried everything- product alone is incredible. Actually does what it says and my hair is super soft and not frizzy at all. Price is just the cherry on top. 100% a must buy if you have color treated blonde. Looking to try the rest of the line as well.

ELVIVE Color Vibrancy Purple Shampoo has really saved my light blond locks! First off, it's just a really good shampoo. It cleanses thoroughly and efficiently without striping my hair of any natural oils. It foams up so luxuriously and just a little bit goes a long way. But as anyone who colors their hair (especially a light blond) the color unfortunately doesn't last forever. Blonde hair turns brassy looking and not what I want at all. I use the ELVIVE Color Vibrancy Purple Shampoo just once a week to keep my blonde hair the color it should be with no brassy tones. It revitalizes by blonde shade, neutralizes any and all yellow and orange tones and keeps my hair looking unbelievably bright, blonde and vibrant and I couldn't be happier! Perfect for highlighted browns, blondes and even silver hair! Highly recommended.

This shampoo is very comparable to a few purple shampoos that I've used before. It worked fine and it did neutralize the brassiness in my bleached hair but when I noticed that sodium lauryl sulfate was an ingredient, I was unimpressed.

Definitely a must for blondes!
I was amazed at how well this toned and neutralized my blonde hair. It gets rid of unwanted orangey and brassy tones and leaves me with cool ashy blonde hair. It looks like I just got my hair done at the salon every time I use this shampoo. I use it 1-2 times a week and leave in for a few minutes before rinsing and following up with ELVIVE Purple Conditioner. My hair also feels clean and soft after using.

I would buy this again
I used this shampoo as instructed on the back, once a week, and left it in for 3 minutes. It works really good and smells amazing. It did bring out more tones in my hair. It is kind of messy though so you may need to rinse your shower afterward.

I would only buy this product if the price was rig
I used this product once a week and did notice results. It restored some of the color in my hair and did leave my hair feeling clean. My biggest frustration was the smell of the shampoo. It left my hair with a chemical like smell.

Amazing Purple Shampoo
This shampoo is amazing and one of the best purple shampoos I have used. It enhances my blonde hair and takes away the brassiness. It makes my hair look and feel super soft and shiny and doesn't dry out my hair at all. I would definitely recommend it and will continue to repurchase.

Keeping the blonde
I am a long time purple shampoo user and have tried many different kinds. I always keep my hair a light blonde with bleached highlights and the blonde always seems to take a turn towards that yellow brassy color. This purple shampoo really rivals some of the better kinds I have tried in the past. It is potent, so it helps take out the yellow quickly and keeps my blonde light and bright. I like to use this once a week or every 2 weeks because my hair will start looking ashy gray and dull if I over use purple shampoo. This product smells great, lathers well and since I don't use it a ton, this bottle will last me months. Great shampoo!

Colored Hair Game Changer
I knew there was purple shampoo on the market for blond hair, but didnt know about this one for colored hair. I could definitely see a difference in my hair color. It appears more vibrant and healthy. I was very surprised at the results. Would definitely recommend!

ELVIVE Color Vibrancy Purple Shampoo is literally THE best drug store purple shampoo there is!
I color my hair blonde and am always needing to use a purple shampoo to get rid of unwanted brassy tones. This shampoo does the trick without over drying my hair or making it feel funny. The smell is also amazing!!

Elvive Color Vibrancy Purple Shampoo is the first color treatment product I have used and I absolutely loved it. I had just colored my hair and it was a bit brassy and this helped out a lot. I loved the smell and the color . I use this in combination with the conditioner about every other week. I'm so happy I found this product.
Once I finish my Elvive Color Vibrancy Purple Shampoo and as long as my hair is colored blonde-ish I will buy this again. I feel like it really worked on my hair.
I was not aware of the Elvive Color Vibrancy Purple Shampoo before participating in this program but I had heard of the other Elvive products and had enjoyed them. So I was hopeful that this would be the same quality. I do recommend the Elvive Color Vibrancy Purple Shampoo to anyone that has recently colored their hair blonde and wants to maintain the freshness and color of your hair.

I really love the scent. I always open the cap and see if I like the scent first. I love they purple glowy color. It feels like flowing gel. At first I did not know what to think when I put it on my hands, it was so purple and everything I touched had violet streaks until I rinsed it, alo everyplace that I put the bottle on had a purple area left. It does not stain st all it washes off. I would maybe try and figure out bottle shape or something to not leave a atk fo me to rinse the tub every single day. Also bottle is in HD small side for a shampoo. I wash it everyday and sometimes more than once ,CSO I go through shampoo faster than conditioner. This is a fun shampoo and it did help keep my highlights bright and not brassy . I only like to see the blonde.

I would buy this product for a change of pace.
I used the product every morning when I took a shower. I like the smell and the consistency of shampoo, the purple color was unique and something I haven't experienced before. My scalp seemed to be greasy later in the day while using it. I did not like that. It kept my hair soft and shined, but didn't do anything color wise.

I had no clue L'Oréal made purple shampoo! I'm a natural blonde but more of a medium blonde and i do bleach yearly so purple shampoo is a must! This shampoo smells unbelievable and brightens up the blonde so much! I usually buy a very expensive brand of purple shampoo but now that i have tried this i will certainly be making a switch.

I tried this product to try and tame the blonde highlights in my hair that are turning a bit of bright orange. After a few uses it seems to be working and my highlights aren't as noticeably such a different color but I do a quick lather and rinse as I don't like the thought of leaving it in my hair too long.

Really works to remove brassiness!
I have blonde color treated/ highlighted hair that gets brassy after about 10 shampoos. I have bought other purple shampoos costing far more that don't hold a candle to this.
It is very purple coming out of the bottle, like all of these types of shampoos, and has a nice lather. I let it sit as directions said for 5 minutes (the best I could tell) then followed up with the conditioner. My hair feels really good and it removes some of the copper color that blondes get. I love my "white" blonde color- so I will use this every few days to prevent yellowing! Great value for the product- this is much better than shampoos sold at high end stores! Save your money and save your blonde! :)

I was obsessed with the smell of ELVIVE Color Vibrancy Purple Shampoo for Color Treated Hair!! Usually, purple type shampoo have hardy chemical scents, where ELVIVE smelled really good during use and long after! My hair felt good but the color was definitely popping more after each use! ELVIVE will definitely be my go-to shampoo for brassiness and helping the blondes pop! I would absolutely recommend!

I would purchase this product again.
I have highlighted hair and often feel it does not have any shine. Today, I tried this product and it seems to have added shine. It has a great smell and doesn't require a lot of product to get great results. I actually use Evive all in one shampoo but had not tried the purple. I don't think they had this at my local store so I will definitely look for it in the future because it did add some brightness to my highlights.

I have always been big on taking us much care of my hair as I can. I havd aleays dyed my hair. As far back as ten years old I have been turning ny hair into my creation of sone sort. So when my favorite brand L'Oreal made a purple shampoo and conditioner. I was super stoked!! The shampoo i have been using eveey 5 days instead of once a week as it instructed. I leave it in around 2 to 3 minutes. I rinse the shampoo and condioner is next. Now that I leave it like 5 minutes as it says. These two paired together make a master peice!! All that yellow brassy hues in my hair just left. They are no longer in this girls head!! Using otnevery couple saya peettyuch keeps it from returning.nwhich is totally want i want. Elvive color vibrancy shampoo has totally been a game channger for me!

Drying and not very effective
If you're bottle blonde like me, I don't know how well you'll like this shampoo. It works about as well as other drug store competitors in terms of an anti brass shampoo, but it's so drying that it makes your hair frizz and break more than usual, at least this was my experience. It's hard to brush after washing, even when used in conjunction with the matching conditioner. Probably maybe pass on this one.

I was provided a sample to use in exchange for my honest review. Light, pleasant scent, not overwhelming. Compared to other products I've tried, the color immediately comes to mind. Color of the packaging and the product itself is a very deep purple. I had not heard of this particular L'Oreal shampoo before participating in this program, the shampoo that I normally use are for color-treated hair, however. I've been very happy with this shampoo. I only need a small amount and it lathers very well -- I'm budget-conscious so that's important! It rinses out cleanly and leaves my normally-dry hair feeling much softer than usual.

This is a really great product for Highlighted Hair!!It leaves it so soft,smells great and a nice lift too..no residue..which is very important to me,as well as a nourished looking head of hair!!It is a verY purple colored shampoo ..which did leave my skin on hands(only!! Thankfully!!) Purple tinted Abit..had to really wash it Abit..and bath water,rinse water..but DID not leave anything else Purple!!

I really love Elvive color vibrancy purple shampoo, it is great if you have color treated hair like me.The shampoo is dark purple, has a nice consistency, and lathers up very welI. I don't like brassy tone which is biggest problem after few weeks of coloring so i am using it once a week to neutralize brass and to keep the hair color vibrant in between coloring.It is effective and affordable — it doesn't get much better than that.The smell is pleasant . I am using the same amount as my regular shampoo.Just massage and wash it after 2 minutes that's how simple it is. I will recommend it to neutralizes unwanted brassy tones.
