Perfect for Toning Gray or Silver Hair

I love this shampoo. I have beautiful gray hair, but the front strands turn yellow and look awful. Your other ani-brassy shampoos do nothing to help this. Waste of money but ElVive Color Vibrancy Purple Shampoo has fixed this issue and now I cannot find it anywhere! It is perfect for putting on just the hair that is yellow. I do not put it all over my head. Please tell me this has not been discontinued and where I can purchase this again for a normal price.

This is my favorite purple shampoo

I love this shampoo so much. I’ve had blonde hair nearly my entire life and it has been the ONLY purple shampoo I’ve used that has actually worked to get rid of the brassiness from my hard water. I am extremely disappointed that can’t find it anywhere in stores now!!! I’ve tried everything from expensive salon brands to cheap Walmart brand and this was my absolute favorite. I didn’t even mind that it stained my fingers. PLEASE sell it in stores again because I can’t find find this product anywhere but eBay now and my hair is suffering for it😭

Don’t leave in for too long for the best outcome

The bottle says leave in for around 3 minutes if you go over that your hair WILL turn purple but it’s supposed to deposit purple. Clarifying shampoo will fix that. I have naturally black hair and this is the product that gets me to platinum white.

I have used this shampoo once a week for a couple of years. People frequently compliment the beautiful color of my hair. Even my hairdresser asked what I use. Recently in the drug store, a woman with dull gray hair told me how beautiful my color was. I walked her over to the shampoo which she purchased. My hair is silver white, and I am 77 years old.

This shampoo discolors your finger nails. I had to use bleach on a Qtip to get my finger nails white again.. Also keep it away from fabric. It stains. Very upset about this shampoo

The Label Clearly Says Grey Hair - My mother had yellowing of her gray hair, now the yellow is gone and her hair is purple! she has washed her hair 3 times and it is still purple. I called the number on the phone and was cut off twice. The poor customer service is worse than the product.

I have been an avid user for years, my favorite being between the clay or volume shampoos so naturally assumed this would be a good addition to my routine. I used it maybe once a week for a month and it did help with my blonde vibrancy slightly however it was not worth the dry scalp, scabbing, and dandruff. I didn’t use it for long once I figured out the issue. It took me two weeks to get my hair and scalp back to normal after using it. I wanted to address the issue directly, however the customer service seems non existent.

I purchased Elvive Color Vibrancy Purple Shampoo and my hair is tinted lavender. I have used other purple shampoos for almost 10 years to decrease the yellow and never had a problem. My hair has been rinsed and shampooed three times and the lavender is not coming out. In the What is your hair color' selection for the review, you do not have 'grey', 'silver' or 'white' as options.

Didn’t Think it Would Work!

...but it did. I am transitioning to my incoming natural silver strands. Although my natural colour is blonde, I’ve been box dyeing it a lighter blonde for many years. To make the transition easier I used a silver box dye. To tone out residual blonde and brighten the silver I used Elvira purple shampoo. So very pleased with the softer silver colour.

Growing out my dark blonde hair with incoming gray. Had platinum highlights. Put this shampoo on dry hair for 3-5 minutes and then used the conditioner. I felt like I had a brand new head of hair! It cleaned off build up, and left my hair bouncy and easier to style. Since my hair is darker blonde the color difference was not striking, but subtly less brassy. Will use once a week!

ELVIVE Color Vibrancy Purple Shampoo has really saved my light blond locks! First off, it's just a really good shampoo. It cleanses thoroughly and efficiently without striping my hair of any natural oils. It foams up so luxuriously and just a little bit goes a long way. But as anyone who colors their hair (especially a light blond) the color unfortunately doesn't last forever. Blonde hair turns brassy looking and not what I want at all. I use the ELVIVE Color Vibrancy Purple Shampoo just once a week to keep my blonde hair the color it should be with no brassy tones. It revitalizes by blonde shade, neutralizes any and all yellow and orange tones and keeps my hair looking unbelievably bright, blonde and vibrant and I couldn't be happier! Perfect for highlighted browns, blondes and even silver hair! Highly recommended.

This shampoo is very comparable to a few purple shampoos that I've used before. It worked fine and it did neutralize the brassiness in my bleached hair but when I noticed that sodium lauryl sulfate was an ingredient, I was unimpressed.

I was amazed at how well this toned and neutralized my blonde hair. It gets rid of unwanted orangey and brassy tones and leaves me with cool ashy blonde hair. It looks like I just got my hair done at the salon every time I use this shampoo. I use it 1-2 times a week and leave in for a few minutes before rinsing and following up with ELVIVE Purple Conditioner. My hair also feels clean and soft after using.

I used this shampoo as instructed on the back, once a week, and left it in for 3 minutes. It works really good and smells amazing. It did bring out more tones in my hair. It is kind of messy though so you may need to rinse your shower afterward.

I am a long time purple shampoo user and have tried many different kinds. I always keep my hair a light blonde with bleached highlights and the blonde always seems to take a turn towards that yellow brassy color. This purple shampoo really rivals some of the better kinds I have tried in the past. It is potent, so it helps take out the yellow quickly and keeps my blonde light and bright. I like to use this once a week or every 2 weeks because my hair will start looking ashy gray and dull if I over use purple shampoo. This product smells great, lathers well and since I don't use it a ton, this bottle will last me months. Great shampoo!
