I've been using this product for years and it absolutely works but I'm having a hard time finding it on store shelves. I usually buy on sale, would like to stock up before it's gone, unless there is a replacement product?

I am using Youth code from 2013 but this is the worst I bought it seems . I used to by Youth code from India with black cap , that used to be perfect , but this is more greasy , not sure how I will get replacement for same.

Didn’t work for me

I finally found this and bought the last 2 jars. It does go on white and stays white for a long time. Today is 03/12/26 I bought my 2 jars and have used it faithfully every day starting on 12/21/25. To this date, not one of my 4 spots have even begun to fade. Very disappointing after spending $50 on a name brand I have bought and used for almost all of my adult life. Will not be recommending it.

I am 50 years old and I have never found a product that has worked so well on my skin. It leaves my skin looking so smooth with a creamy tint I love!!! It is the best product Ive ever used that actually fades my dark spots. I wear light makeup and with this product, I can use no foundation with just mascara and lip gloss. It’s amazing!!!!

This is a wonderful face cream. Doesn't really seem to do much for dark spots, but nothing that I've used does, so this isn't a surprise. Use it daily, it's SPF 30 and it's not greasy. Search for best price online.

Moisturizes and Protects

Love this product for great moisturizing and it actually does fade dark spots and even out skin tone. I love that is has a sunscreen but still goes on silky smooth. I let it absorb and then apply foundation. If I'm going out in the sun I apply it again for extra protection. Gives a smooth and luminous glow to the skin.

Please don’t quit making this product!!!

This is magic in a bottle!! Lately, I can’t find this moisturizer anywhere around me so I have had to order it online. I’m afraid that L’Oréal is going to discontinue this product, so this is why I am writing a review. I also think it’s important to mention that this is the very first review I have ever made on any product. Over the years, I have tried so many moisturizers, including many expensive brands, but this is my favorite by far. I have normal to dry skin and this lotion lightly moisturizes my face without leaving that heavy creamy or oily feeling behind. The product just sinks into my skin. But the best thing about this moisturizer is that it has an illuminating tint to it, so I am able to start with a healthy, youthful glow on my face before I even apply my makeup. When I ran out of this product and had to use another moisturizer, my skin looked so dull and lifeless. Also, when I don’t feel like applying full make-up to run to the store, I will only put on this moisturizer, some mascara, and lip gloss and I’m good to go. Highly recommend this product!!!

Nice moisturizer with a bit of shimmer

One of my favorite day creams of all time. I’m in my 50’s with dry skin,, so the subtle shine this cream gives is perfect for my skin. Plus, it’s luxurious to put on the skin, very hydrating. Folks who don’t want that touch of shimmer, this is not the cream for you, but for others looking for moisture and a glow, it’s really great.

I have read some of these reviews and I can't believe it! They are crazy to think that this is not a fantastic product! I have been using this product for years and hope that you never discontinue it! I don't buy it to remove dark spots, I use it because it makes my skin look radiant!! Everyone asks me what I use on my face..then they buy it and love it too! I use it on my face, arms, and legs. wherever it is applied, it makes it shine and improves the look of the skin!!! It has a tiny bit of shimmery to the skin, which I love!!!!! It is a great sunscreen also! I can't find it lately and buy all I can find..mostly at Wal Mart. Please don't change this product because of all these crazy reviews. But I do suggest that you don't call it a dark spot remover, as it isn't, but what I use it for, it is the best I have found!!

The Shine Tells All

I purchased this product because I think L'Oreal is a relatively good brand, and it had SPF which was paramount for me. I was seeking SPF protection and some help with a couple of dark spots, and was actually quite enthusiastic to try this product because it is advertised as addressing both of those concerns. I'd like to start off on a good note here. I like the texture and creaminess of the product, and a little truly goes a long way. There is minimal fragrance, and it has a broad spectrum SPF of 30. I have only used it for 3 weeks, and any dark spot correcting is not noticeable at this point. Sadly that is where the "pros" end for me. The shine from this product makes my skin look like I used a silver highlighter all over my face. When I used it the first time I assumed it would take a few minutes to simmer down. I did not wear makeup (teleworking from home as it were), but by noon the first day I had to swipe a powder over my face to tame down the shine. The slivery sheen this moisturizer leaves is not an attractive look for anyone. This is not a product I am able to use without a foundation or powder over the top, and I found it emphasized any and all wrinkles, even the very minor ones. I have dry skin and did not find the moisturizer seeped into my skin, but sat on top, and the shine was only minimally diminished by the application of foundation and powder.

Feels great, does nothing

I have an olive complexion and never used sunscreen for the first half of my life, so now I have a number of dark spots I am trying to correct and mitigate with daily sunscreen. For 2 full months, I used this product every day, along with Loreal's Youth Code Dark Spot Corrector Illuminator Serum (2x day) and not a single one of my dark spots has lightened. Super disappointed, and also surprised that Loreal does not offer an empty bottle guarantee. Maybe because they know it doesn't work?

Smells like Ajax or Comet.

The smell is stifling, I walk around smelling Ajax all day. I feel like a should clean the bathroom with it (only because of the smell). I don't really like the way it makes my face feel. It said give it 4 weeks I did, dark spot was still there. I did buy the RoseyTone also, I'll see how that works. Will not buy again.

not so great. didn't live up to the label claim

I used this religiously for 6 weeks, didn't miss a day. Nothing has changed, not even a tiny bit. My darkspot looks exactly the same. Checked the ingredient and couldn't tell it apart from regular sunscreen. I can find some better sunscreen with higher SPF for much cheaper.

I have been using this product for a few years and I love it. I am 67yrs old and most of the creams recommended for my age are way too oily for my skin. This product is wonderful, not oily and my dark spots have faded since using it. I cannot find it in the stores anymore and have had to shop the internet. Please DO NOT discontinue this product, I have not found any other product that is as good as this one and that includes you "aging product". I am hoping I can purchase this product from you web site and it won't be discontinued there also.

I love using LOreal products all the time. Recently I want to working on the dark spots on my both sides of face. So I am trying both dark spots corrector serum and day cream. The serum is fine, but the day cream with spf30 always balling off my skin no matter how I put on my face. Could you help me solve this problem?

Please do not discontinue! I can't find this in the stores any more and it has changed my life! I love this formula. I have dark spots all over my face since my pregnancy and this has made them almost disappear. I had tried all types of formulas for years and nothing worked except this. Please keep around!

Very disappointed!

I bought this product because it said was a dark spot corrector and would see results in four weeks. It has been 6 and have seen no changes and I have been very faithful. It was expensive and claims are not correct. I love other Loreal products so was surprised and disappointed in this one.

Please tell me you are NOT discontinuing this product!!! Please L'Oréal!! I can't find it anywhere on store shelves anymore and I used to be able to get it almost anywhere - Walgreens Target etc. - I LOVE this formula - the smell and more importantly the way it makes your skin glow!!!! I use it day and night and the SPF is an added bonus! I'm always complimented on my skin and this product has a lot to do with that! Please keep this around always!!!!! I'm having to order from your site and I'm out :( - it needs to be on store shelves again! Please!!!

Does the Revitalift Triple Power Day lotion Moisturizer SPF 20 (??-why not 30?) have the opalescence that the Youth Code cream had? The fact that it is called "lotion", not "cream" makes me think it won't be as thick and moisturizing.

I have a question here. The active ingredients are ALL just sunscreens. Do tell, what ingredient is the "corrector" of the dark spots? This seems very misleading and I'm so disappointed in L'oreal.

  The only product that will actually fade dark spots is hydroqinone. There are very few face creams with it. Palmers (that makes cocoa butter creams/ lotions), has a serum that is not too bad. What I liked about this cream though was the "illuminating" pearlescence that hides the dark circles under my eyes. Too bad L'oreal discontinued it. I don't understand why they get you hooked on a product, and then just say "Oh, sorry,,," Time to find a manufacturer that won't discontinue products so often.

Today is 03/12/26 I bought my 2 jars and have used it faithfully every day starting on 12/21/25. To this date, not one of my 4 spots have even begun to fade. Very disappointing after spending $50 on a name brand I have bought and used for almost all of my adult life. Will not be recommending it.

I’m afraid that L’Oréal is going to discontinue this product, so this is why I am writing a review. I also think it’s important to mention that this is the very first review I have ever made on any product. Over the years, I have tried so many moisturizers, including many expensive brands, but this is my favorite by far. I have normal to dry skin and this lotion lightly moisturizes my face without leaving that heavy creamy or oily feeling behind. The product just sinks into my skin. But the best thing about this moisturizer is that it has an illuminating tint to it, so I am able to start with a healthy, youthful glow on my face before I even apply my makeup. When I ran out of this product and had to use another moisturizer, my skin looked so dull and lifeless. Also, when I don’t feel like applying full make-up to run to the store, I will only put on this moisturizer, some mascara, and lip gloss and I’m good to go. Highly recommend this product!!!

I was seeking SPF protection and some help with a couple of dark spots, and was actually quite enthusiastic to try this product because it is advertised as addressing both of those concerns. I'd like to start off on a good note here. I like the texture and creaminess of the product, and a little truly goes a long way. There is minimal fragrance, and it has a broad spectrum SPF of 30. I have only used it for 3 weeks, and any dark spot correcting is not noticeable at this point. Sadly that is where the "pros" end for me. The shine from this product makes my skin look like I used a silver highlighter all over my face. When I used it the first time I assumed it would take a few minutes to simmer down. I did not wear makeup (teleworking from home as it were), but by noon the first day I had to swipe a powder over my face to tame down the shine. The slivery sheen this moisturizer leaves is not an attractive look for anyone. This is not a product I am able to use without a foundation or powder over the top, and I found it emphasized any and all wrinkles, even the very minor ones. I have dry skin and did not find the moisturizer seeped into my skin, but sat on top, and the shine was only minimally diminished by the application of foundation and powder.

For 2 full months, I used this product every day, along with Loreal's Youth Code Dark Spot Corrector Illuminator Serum (2x day) and not a single one of my dark spots has lightened. Super disappointed, and also surprised that Loreal does not offer an empty bottle guarantee. Maybe because they know it doesn't work?

Rated 2 out of 5 by Malissa from I've used this day cream for a couple years and when I see it on sale I stock up. Well to my surprise it's changed!!! It's oily now and doesn't have any scent at all. It used to have a pleasant scent and it was light and left my skin looking radiant. Now it's thick and oily and non scented. It's as if it's just sun screen! Now I have 6+ jars of this sunscreen. I want the original formula back. Why doesn't it say the formula changed. A warning would have been appreciated.

That being said the sunscreen dark spot corrector has been nothing but a mess for me. It's really thick and although I have put a minute amount on I will look in the mirror say in my car or at a store in passing and it looks as if I were taking a break from painting! This was not an inexpensive product to boot. However, I do love the smell and will try it maybe solely on spots at night. I'm sure it will work great for some. Just not me...

Im definetly not satisfied . Now I have to worry about dark spots which were already there and acne from this product . Not ok . And something needs to be done about it .

I had seen your advertisement and immediately went out and bought it. I've been using it for 3 weeks now and some of the dark spots have vanished, others have lightened and my skin tone has improved. My husband has even commented on my skin and how it glows. I will not run out of this product. I am so happy. I would highly recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by KHope from I have severe dark spots so I thought I would give the Dark Spot SPF 30 Day Cream and the serum a try. I loved the serum! It showed results in just a week. I've been using it for a few weeks now and there's a noticeable difference. The day cream... not so much. I looks nice going on. Makes my skin glowy looking. However, as soon as it starts to dry, it just flakes off! It also makes my makeup flake and look terrible as well. Will keep using the serum, but won't be buying the day cream again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Rockford Il from I've been using the dark spot corrector for 2 months and I'm not impressed. It doesn't penatrate into the skin and a couple of hours later you see it "rolling" off your face. I've also haven't noticed any difference in the large age spot I've been using it on.

I am about halfway through the jar and have not really noticed any significant positive differences in my skin. However, I have noticed that since using this product, I have more clogged pores which have led to blackheads. I usually do not get blackheads with my regular product. The other issue I have with this product is that when I apply it to my face, it does not seem to absorb completely into my skin. I am left with product on my face and it separates and won't rub in. I have to use a washcloth to wipe it off of my face. I am highly disappointed in this particular product. I will not purchase it again.

I decided to change everything about my skincare routine including all the products. I always hated using facial products that contain SPF because they always feel thick/sticky and will clog my pores. However, I fell in love with this cream after the first use. It is super smooth, yet very rich and moisturizing. I only need a small amount each time. I have only gone through half of a jar after 2 months of use. It has something shiny in it so my skin gets a healthy glow immediately after I put it on. It is very hydrating without clogging my pores. My skin's pigment has significantly improved. I gave it 4 stars only because I think the fragrance could be a bit more pleasant, but I will defintely continue to use it in the future.

I found the the scent to be not just bad but offensive. No way I could smell this stuff all day. It gets one star because the program doesn't recognize zero stars!

It works great...use it along with the moisturizer because of the 30 SPF. However, the dark spots still remain. I would call myself a "Youth Code" chick because products please me. Anyone know of a good primer? Have tried the Age Perfect but don't like it...makes my face feel "stiff."

However, it has noticably reduced the appearance of my under-eye circles and some small visible veins on my face. I was curious about this unexpected benefit, so tried it on a bruise on my knee (the result of an accident, and very ugly). The appearance improved rapidly and, although the spot is still tender to the touch, the bruise is gone - in 9 days. Remarkable.

I live in Florida so SPF 30 is NEEDED. This really works in correcting my skin tone too. I pick at my face very badly. This has fixed my tone and prevented my very frequent pimples.

Has a slight fragrance that I do not find highyl appealing, but goes away after 15 minutes. I have noticed my dark spots fading and my tone evening out, I use both the facial creame and Dark Spot Correcting Serum. Love them both!!!

Does the Revitalift Triple Power Day lotion Moisturizer SPF 20 (??-why not 30?) have the opalescence that the Youth Code cream had? The fact that it is called "lotion", not "cream" makes me think it won't be as thick and moisturizing.

I have a question here. The active ingredients are ALL just sunscreens. Do tell, what ingredient is the "corrector" of the dark spots? This seems very misleading and I'm so disappointed in L'oreal.
