I am always skeptical of the promises skincare products make, especially as it relates to African-American skin. I saw noticeably smoothier, youthful looking skin the first night I used this product. Thumbs up!

I used the product for over a month and unfortunately it caused me to breakout badly - I am 58 years old. I ended up going back to another product (hypoallergenic free) and my breakouts cleared up within a week. I will say I have many Loreal products and overall work very well for me. This item unfortunately did not.

Revitalift overnight mask

I am 43 years old. My skin looks and feels amazing the next morning after applying this before bed. My makeup goes on great! I don't need to, nor use any moisturizer or primer. My only complaint is that it is greasy feeling, and understandably so. If u read the ingredients, the 3rd and 4th are oils. As long as u don't use a lot, it's not bad, tho. Now that I'm on my second jar, and have been using it for about 6 months, I can see a difference in my skin. My sun spots aren't as dark and my fine lines are less visible. This moisturizer is a staple in my night skincare routine. I really like it and absolutely recommend it!

Didn’t think I would like this at all…..

I didn’t think I’d like L’Oréal for skin care, I always used high end, but I really like this and can see a dramatic improvement In only a month. It’s not greasy or oily for as thick as this product is. It’s wild how fast it absorbs. Brightens within a week. Dark spots faded noticeably within the last month. I’m extremely critical of skin care and return stuff if It dosen’t do what it claims at least partially within 6 weeks. This is a must!

Amazing in one night

I never buy pharmacy moisturizer but my husband gave me this as he thought it was a nice gift…. I used it reluctantly but I can not believe in just one night I really noticed the difference. I was actually stunned by the brightness and smoothness. I am 57 and have oily skin so was worried about clogging but honestly, try this… just once and you’ll be hooked. Calm, bright, clear and just awesome.

Know what retinol is people!

Great for night use only. Reading these reviews about people experiencing flaking, peeling, breakouts…it has retinol in it which can cause skin purging if it’s not something you regularly use. And wearing without a sunscreen during the day…you will get burnt!! It’s meant for overnight use. If the smell is an issue, they have an unscented version which I chose. I tried using prescription Retin-A and the purging was awful. I needed to build up a tolerance and opted for a retinol to start. So I gave this a try for the first time. I’m getting a few more pimples just starting but my skin feels very hydrated and glowing the next day. Hoping after longer use the retinol will get my skin ready to give Retin-A another try very slowly. For now this is a great alternative all in one night time treatment/moisturizer.

I’m 24 years old and thought I should start taking my skin care more seriously so I purchased this product. I noticed a difference in my skin almost immediately/over night. I woke up with less scarring and dark spots and noticed my face was brighter, it looked healthier. I was unsure at first because I have very very sensitive skin so I’ve always avoided retinols and my face will react overnight if it doesn’t like or does like something, and like I said I woke up with all positive results. Why did you change from the "Intensive overnight mask". The old formula was the best. The fragrance was very pleasing. I bought the new formula and am very disappointed with it's consistency and it's lack of fragrance. I feel it's a lower quality.

So I bought this overnight mask - it has an unpleasant smell and I did not see any difference. Accidentally, I applied the overnight mask in the daytime and went out in the sun for a few hours. My whole face had an allergic reaction of red bumps all over my forehead, cheeks, nose and chin. I had to use antihistamines and sunscreen for a week before it cleared up. Please DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT during DAYTIME, when going out in the sun. I wish there was a prominent warning that this product is for night time use only.

I've been using it for about a week now and like it. Some reviewers complained about the smell. I don't mind it and do not find it overwhelming. The product feels light but very moisturizing, not greasy. A little goes a long way. It does not irritate my skin and works well to smooth the lines on my face and neck. Not related but just curious L'oreal - when asking about hair color why is there no option for gray/silver hair? There are many of us out there.

I thought that my serum hadn't completely dried before I applied it. So I have been applying it on clean, dry skin and the result is the same. It flakes. Using the Revitalift overnight mask obviously at night, and also using oil of Olay Regenerist in the morning has taken about 10 years off my face. Friends have even asked if I've had work ? I know these two competitive products were not designed to work together, but for me they do nicely. Skin feels softer and fuller, lines and wrinkles are much less noticible.

As soon as I opened it I could tell it was different. The smell is not pleasant and my skin is dry which wasn't the case with the previous version. I am sad that I will have to find another product.

Regardless, it pills by morning and the pilling won’t come off without rubbing or scrubbing with a washcloth. Doesnt seem to act like a mask. I’m trying to use it all up, but I wouldn’t recommend this product.

I bought this cream to replace the Intensive Overnight Mask that I had been using from L'oreal, which was a great product, and this new formula made my skin break out, it smelled horrible (like rotten roses) and was greasy and made me sweat. I HOPE THEY BRING BACK THE OLD PRODUCT BACK.

I stopped for a couple days but when I start again the same thing. I will say after the very first use my skin was incredibly soft. I want to give it a chance. I’m wondering if this is the process or I need to stop using it all together.

Wanting to try something new, bought the Revitalift Night Mask. The scent is horrible and the texture is neither night cream like or mask- like.. Very disapppointed in this product. Wont use the rest or buy again

The scent was light & clean, the minute I put it on, my face felt like it just had a cool, refreshing glass of water. My skin was hydrated, soothed, & glowing. The 'New Formula' literally STINKS! The smell is way too floral & overpowering - to the point where I smell it for a couple hours (it's right under & on my nose!) The consistency is not as soothing (feels 'goopy') & doesn't absorb as easily. I just hate it - Loreal - PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL FORMULA!

It has already tone out my skin and after losing 30 pounds my face and neck skin was starting to sag thos product has already started firming face and neck. The people that have said it peels off after drying may be using to much product. I use less than a dime size for both face and neck and had no problems. I also love the fresh smell and use it every night and wash my face in the morning before applying makeup.

Or it might have already been expired? I honestly couldn’t stand the feel of it so I quickly washed it off. Sadly the next day I broke out where I used it. I liked the day cream of this but not the night, should have stuck with the day cream one.

I buy this product at cvs because they have a lot of l'oreal good deals, it works great and even my co-workers have complimented the look of my skin after I started using this. I use it with the eye balm every night. I was surprised and totally recommend it.

My skin feels better, wrinkles are softer... But that smell! It smells like livestock. I thought it was me. I was being too sensitive. But my husband mentioned of some odd smell in the bedroom. I asked him to smell the product. He admitted that that smell has been bothering him in the bed for a few weeks!! He did not know where it was coming from. I was the source of that smell!! Now you see what happens next. I apply the product before going to bed and apply lots of perfume to suppress the smell of the product. I just do not repel my husband. I cannot wait to get done with the product and get back to my regular cream.

I am giving it only 4 stars because I have had a hard time locating it in stores. I finally got the cream from Amazon after waiting a long time before they were able to restock the product. I am actually concerned this great product is being discontinued.

The store I went to was out of that, so I decided to try the Revitalift. It seems fine going on, though the cream is not really very creamy, but once it is all absorbed into my skin, there is a residue that comes off almost sand-like, but more moist. I have used it several days now, and each time I have to clean my face with a cloth because of the residue. I don't think I will be finishing this jar.

Couldn't find the exact 1 I was looking for, so I got this. It's thick, creamy, & smells divine. Perfect for winter season dry skin. It glides on easily with just a teeny tiny bit. Too much & it 'pills' off. My skin is so much softer & my wrinkles are definitely shrinking. Love, love, love that! My skin tones improved also. I'm usually skeptical & unimpressed by promises because they do not deliver on those promises. This works. It's exceeded all my expectations, & the price is right. Give this a chance. You will not regret it! You'll end up addicted to it & adding it to your night time routine.

This product balanced my skin tone and brightened my skin. My face felt soft and moisturized. I get very dry skin and it's difficult to find a product that works and this worked the first day. I also have sensitive skin and this product didn't irritate my skin at all. It is great and I will be buying more.

I do like the ways it smells and how hydrating and smooth it made my face feel however I did not like the fact that in less than 10mins after applying it wants to peel off my faces in piles.

But once it's dry it may actually cake off because after all it isn't a mask. There's the bad, and for the good... My skin looks and feels amazing after regular use for almost 2 months. I'm 45 1/2 and have had a handful of people mistake me for 30-35 in the past couple of weeks.

I ended up going back to another product (hypoallergenic free) and my breakouts cleared up within a week. I will say I have many Loreal products and overall work very well for me. This item unfortunately did not.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mruna from The worst cream I have ever tried Just one application of this cream made me having acne for the very next morning..In my entire life this is the first time my skin has ever got this reaction to any product...First I thought may be it is the initial reaction and may be my skin will get settle down..But to my surprise my entire face become more rough and the pores which I never saw opened in the areas are also wide opened and entire face got tiny red bumps..I just applied one night and now is the second day Morning.I never ever in my entire life got this kind of reaction to my face...Now I don't know what to do and I don't want to even go out..On the New Year's Day everybody was asking me about my skin and that too all of sudden just in a night..I just wasted my money and now I am more concerned about my skin..I don't know what will make my skin normal again..Just started the new year with the worst experience...Never expected this kind of product from L'Oréal..I used to trust L'Oréal products but not anymore..DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY IN BUYING THIS PRODUCT...That's what I can say now.

I am 54, African American, skin in pretty good shape, but starting to notice some loss of firmness, and larger pores. I exfoliate in the AM, maybe the combination of both, but pores definitely improved. Overall my skin looks brighter, and more radiant.
