Great cushion foundation!

I absolutely loved using this cushion foundation! It’s the first time I’ve ever used a cushion foundation and I was absolutely pleasantly surprised. It went on so smoothly and it looked just like my skin. No caking at all. I will say the shade was a little light for me, but nothing I couldn’t work with. I will definitely buy again.

Great coverage

Good coverage, weightless, matching tones/undertones….love this! I’ve been wanting to try cushion makeup and have thought of purchasing YSL but stopped by Ulta and saw L’oréal’s cushion makeup…I couldn’t decide which color so I bought two. I could wear both (one for summer and the other for winter)! So glad I tried these.

I flip between a few Korean and Japanese cushion foundations. I loved the idea of this L'Oreal product because, I hoped, it would be easier to get. This product is no where as good as the ones I buy from those other countries/brands. It doesn't last 4 hours. It just disappears. Nice try L'Oreal. Not worth the $20.

How do you clean the lid after you tap the foundation on it? And how do you clean the sponge? I washed it after using it once, took several rinses to get clean, and then was left with a wet sponge that I didn't want to put in the case.

  Hi there bellgirl, great questions! To clean the lid, simply wipe with a clean tissue to remove any excess makeup residue. As for the sponge, it’s a special anti-microbial sponge that does not need regular cleaning. Constantly washing it will degrade the shape and strength of the sponge, and as you noticed, a wet sponge is not something you want to store in the compact.

I found it to have good, buildable coverage and it was extremely easy to apply. It did take a while to 'melt' into my skin, and felt like it sat top for the first 10ish minutes. I was also disappointed to see that it did emphasize any dry skin on my face (which is prominent due to tretinoin right now) - so I wouldn't reccomend it for people with dry skin. The color was true to expectations, I just unfortunately received the neutral tone instead of warm tone, so the yellow undertones didnt work as well for my face. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this to anyone with oily-to-normal skin who are looking for medium-to-full coverage!

It offers great coverage, blends easily into the skin, and wears beautifully throughout the day. It also has minimal transfer and gives smooth, natural-looking finish. Great quality for the price.

It definitely is a lighter coverage foundation, you may be able to build it to be more full coverage but it seems like you would use this up quickly if you did that. Feels lightweight on the face, I use it to just even out my skin tone when I am going for a natural look, it is great for that. The color may be a little light for me but it does blend well.

It provided good coverage even with one layer. I can have difficulty covering up my redness and this did a great job with that. I didn’t experience noticeable oxidization thankfully (I need the lightest shade). It has more of a matte finish which isn't always ideal for my dry skin. The formula doesn't seem too dry, but I will definitely have to do skin prep with it.

It has a coverage that unifies the skin tone without feeling heavy, it blends super easily and leaves a very natural finish.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SafiyaG from Lightweight Love the packaging. The compact has a separate cushion section inside that you can use to apply the foundation and a little mirror. The foundation feels a bit powdery but once applied to skin, it smoothes out. It does not give glow though but is more like a sheer look in my opinion . The shade I received is a bit darker but I received it for free, so there might be a shade match if I chose the shade myself. Coverage is light to medium, as visible in the before and after picture (my acne is still visible). I tried to build up the layers but I think it feels a bit heavy on skin. It does stay for a long time though, so I'd say overall a good product.

The packaging of this cushion reminds me of the K-beauty cushions I own - I’m a sucker for cushion foundations because of how convenient they are. The puff that came with this cushion was very soft and I like the teardrop shape because it really helps get into the harder areas like the nose and eye corners. I would say the coverage of this foundation is like light to medium coverage, which I personally like because I like building up my foundation so that’s usually my go to when buying cushion foundations. The finish of this is more matte so not like the dewy, glass-skin I’m used to, it’s fine though because the matte blended in easier. The downside is though I think I got the lightest shade but it was actually too yellow, orange-y on me. I’m a warm tone girly so if you’re a cool tone or neutral tone this would not suit.. Reason why I didn’t fully try it on my face, I tested the cushion on the top of my arm and wrist, initially looked ok but upon closer look and in photos, it didn’t match me. I did have it on a couple hours before washing though and my hand still had some foundation on so I would say durability is decent. I’d like to try this again in the future probably.

It has a nice scent and doesn’t create any breakout creasing. I wish I was able to use as a whole, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to do so.

It is a little too "shiny/glowy" for me but I can put a powder on top. I tried taking water on my hand and rubbing it off gently and it didn't really come off which is always a huge plus, for me. The applicator isn't the best I've ever used but it wasn't necessarily bad either. I like that I can take it in my purse for touch ups if I ever need it.

I like how consistent the amount of product is and how I can control the amount of product that I’m applying. My makeup stays put and doesn’t transfer. This product isn’t drying at all and even feels a bit moist to the touch, making it a great product for the summer months. The foundation also easily covers breakouts.

I would say overall this has pretty light to medium coverage. It is buildable, but within reason as its powder. It I use liquide foundation when I m putting on Réal makeup by real i mean my go to work or go out mekeup I bougth this so could have ligth coverage when I want to dash out to the farmers market

I prepped my skin as always , and applied the foundation as I would usually do. I was shocked to see it cracking almost immediately, because it was not a formula that would have to be shaken prior to use. The compact was nice, the applicator was soft, but it seemed to soak up more foundation than it was letting me apply. I tried to go over the patchy areas, and reapply the foundation, but it only got worse. I left it on until it was time for my evening shower , and I notice a lot of blotches and patches where you could see there was product missing on my face. I don’t think it lasts too long before you need to reapply.

I have extremely sensitive skin, and even more so since being pregnant, and this is amazing. The coverage is definitely on the lighter side, but I could easily build it up.
