Usage

Start by applying the Super-Volumizing primer, making sure to coat every lash. Then, before the primer dries, apply the fiber-rich Mascara on top of the primed lashes to create a show-stopping lash look. Repeat on other eye.

Great Product - Recommend

Great product best in its category. Have been using it for years and recommend to all my friends. The eyelashes are long and beautiful. The only I don't understand why they discontinued block primer in the purple cover which was even better as white primer takes more work to cover up and requires more layers.

Have been using in the black primer purple tube for years. The eyelashes are long and beautiful. I don't understand why they discontinued black primer in the purple cover which was even better as white primer takes more work to cover up and requires more layers.

Great product!

I have been using this mascara for years and I love it. The primer helps it last all day and minimizes flaking and running. I have sparse eyelashes and it thickens them nicely. And it does not irritate my eyes as many waterproof mascaras do.

Best mascara of all

truly the only mascara that makes my lashes look fuller and longer. I've used this for over 10 years. Unfortunately, I can no longer find the brown/black shade and black and blackest of black are way too dark for me. PLEASE PLEASE MAKE THE BROWN AGAIN

I bought this mascara hoping that it would be as good as it said in the ads. Sadly, it is not! I am an older woman so I was looking for the volumizing effect that it professes to have. It was no better than the other mascaras I have purchased. However, it did not go on without clumping and then when I tried to get it off that night, some of my eye lashes fell out!!! I used both a very good mascara remover and then just tried water. Neither really worked and as I said, I lost some of my eyelashes!!!

Giving this product 4 out of 5 stars because the primer is GREAT! I am glad to have found a product that holds my curl. My only complaint is that the primer is WHITE and not black. Loreal used to have a similar product with purple tubes and the primer was black making for your lashes to look that color. The white primer makes my eyelashes more of a gray than a black. If the primer was black, product would receive 5/5 stars.

WHY DISCONTINUE THE PURPLE TUBE? BRING IT BACK!

BRING BACK THE PURPLE TUBE!!!!!!!!!! I have used the purple forever and now Im left with this one. WHY WHY WHY! I just want to cry right now! This seems like a bad business decision when there isn't any other product that made my lashes so beautiful without fake lashes.

Please bring back the black primer!

Please bring back the waterproof version with the black primer. The white is too hard to cover up and it contrasts with my dark skin making I look like I have lint on my lashes. Please I’m begging you, this was the best mascara ever!!!

I have been using this mascara since it came out. Like it, but, the last two i have purchased seem empty! Ive checked to make sure i did not throw the new one away by accident. I did not. Not happy about having to buy another one.

But my most recent purchase was terrible. The silver paint on the mascara is peeling off. My friends and my husband laugh because it's on my face, my clothes, my bathroom counter, etc when they see me. What is going on; what has Loreal changed in the process?? I but I don't love having people tell me bright silver paint is on my face. Loreal, have you fixed the problem and will you send me a replacement from a new batch please?

The 2 step process just makes your final look more clumpy and caked-on looking without the extension effect. I find it messier than a regular mascara and it doesn't seem to last as long.

I am fair skinned with blond eyelashes and it makes a huge difference in my appearance for the better to focus on my eyelashes more than any other feature. I would love to see this expanded to include waterproof eye shadow on the otherside with some sparkle that could be added to the eye, cheek or lips as well to really rocket this product into the stratosphere!

Rated 4 out of 5 by jeneca from just hear me out L'Oreal if you see this review please please make the mascara version on its own. let me tell you guys the mascara on the end of this is such a great formula I really never tried anything like it before the curve of the wand seems to hold my curl all day long and a lot of mascaras don't hold up to that claim the formula on the black side is absolutely amazing there's no transfer it stays put all day I really would like to have a full size of this I've had this for over a year and it's still going strong and I use mascara every single day. now the reason I gave it 4 stars is due to the primer side now I've used it with this mascara and I've used it with other mascaras and I just don't think it's a wow product I definitely think like I said they could do without the primer and just made the mascara larger size any tips that I can give for the primer side is apply it and then go through and use a spoolie to kind of thin it out because there's a lot of product that does buildup on the brush but I DO think that it does give your lashes a more volumised look I'm not into the clumpy/thick look. Again speaking on the prime not mascara . I like my lashes to be very separated and long but when I'm looking for volume it is a great go to I don't notice that the primer makes it last any longer but I do like the product overall please L'Oreal make this mascara and a bigger version I think it's so great and keep the wand because it's amazing

The but.....it's impossible to remove the waterproof version (usually buy the non-waterproof but bought this by mistake). The primer made my lashes clump together and the mascara only worsened the effect. It was not a good look at all. The positive is that the formula is indeed waterproof/long-lasting....so much so that I still had lots of residual mascara after using eye make-up remover. I had to continuously scrub away at my lashes to remove it, which is probably not good for the sensitive eye area or my lashes. I tried it on twice and both times were a disaster. I'm going back to my regular Voluminous False Fiber Waterproof. Glad to see that it works for some people though.

I used to use the old version all the time and loved it but it seems they have changed the formula. I had to keep going over and over my lashes to get some mascara on them. The primer is white and can't be covered even with several coats of mascara. Lashes were clumpy and the formula is so waterproof that even with waterproof eye makeup remover it barely comes off.

I don't understand how this ever got past the design stage - either that or L'Oreal has some serious quality control problems in manufacture. The white primer clumped the lashes up and showed through the black mascara overcoat. The result was a spider-legged, clumpy, laughable mess with white fibers poking out. Save your money. :(

I was never able to completely cover the white primer. Maybe if it was a clear or black it would be great. Finally gave up and went back to my former love, Power Volume 24H.

The primer allows me to have length of fakes without the glue and pulling out of the little real lashes I have. Another company use to sell this kind but discontinued it so I was stuck buying the all in ones which was garbage. Thank you lorealparis and if you decide to discontinue please let me know so I can stock up!! Thank you again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Daxxydog from Five stars for the mascara but zero stars for the primer - I bought this and hated it because using the primer gave me club-like spider lashes. Then (cheapskate that I am) I decided to try just the mascara by itself and it was far better alone. It's still #2 for me after Voluminous Carbon Black, but much better than others I've tried. Alone, the mascara gives me feathery, very black lashes with volume. If you hated it, try it again without the primer.

After using Loreal eye makeup remover and another high-end department store remover, the mascara would not come off. I finally had to use my fingernails to scrape the mascara off. After one use, I will not be using any more of this mascara.

I have been using this mascara since it came out. Like it, but, the last two i have purchased seem empty! Ive checked to make sure i did not throw the new one away by accident. I did not. Not happy about having to buy another one.
