For a mascara that cost 19.99 it's absolutely horrible. It clumps, makes your lashes stick together and look clumpy, flakes, from day one. Very disappointing especially with the cost.

Curl, volume, and length in one.

This product makes my lashes look great! It’s very hard to find a mascara that is lengthening while also adding volume. I love this mascara on its own, but layering with telescopic gives me insane results!!

The best of the best!

LOVE this mascara so much! Every since receiving this product to review I haven't bought anything else. The brush is so good, it's a silicone brush with short bristles so it separates nicely. I don't get any flaking or raccoon eyes from it either. It's very lengthening and volumizing, you get it all with Big Deal! Won't buy any other mascara anymore

Poor formula

Good volume but maximum flaking and smudging!! I was so excited to try this product but after two hours of normal wear I have excessive flaking into my eyes causing them to water and the mascara to run.

This mascara is a great product. I definitely refer it to anyone looking for a new mascara. I was a little disappointed when I opened one of the mascara's I purchased, and it was missing the brush. Just wanted to let you know in case this is a manufacturing error. I will continue to be a loyal customer.

Disappointment and frustration.

I purchased this product via Amazon. Upon opening to use the wand was broken and no brush on on the wand. I assumed it came off inside the tube. I inserted a screwer to investigate and could not feel any type of brush.
I purchased another from my local Walmart. Thought I could use it and when finished, use the wand on the previous tube. To my surprise, this wand was also broken with no brush in the tube. What gives Loreal, I've spent almost $30 on your defective product. I've seeing reviews that others have had the same issue.

I purchased this mascara & when I opened the tube & there was no brush on the end. Unfortunately, I hadn't opened it right away so it's too late to return. Very disappointing 😞

I have sad little eyelashes and do not have the time nor money for extensions. This mascara is the only thing that helps. It makes my lashes look long and gives them volume. I will never buy another kind of mascara.

Best mascara

This is 4 layers of mascara. Comes in a pretty bottle and don't need much for each layer. Definitely the best mascara ive ever used and will only use now! No harsh ingredients it has floral oil and is subtle for sensitive eyes.

They changed the formula and it’s awful now!!! I’ve loved this mascara for so long but now I’m ditching it because what?? It’s so clumpy, every time I close the bottle mascara seeps out the sides and is now on all my makeup. Whatever you changed it to is not it

Lifts, separates, and defines—no smudging, no fall

This mascara is everything! The formula is rich and the color is bold—my lashes looked longer, fuller, and beautifully separated. The brush is pure magic: it glides through easily with zero pulling or clumping, and I didn’t get any smudges on my eyelids while applying. Best part? No fallout under my eyes, even after a long day. It seriously made my lashes look like falsies without the hassle. A solid 100/10 in my book!

Product quality

I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago, as soon as I got home I opened it to see how the brush looked and the brush was not even attached. Went back to the store and got it replaced. I opened it in the spot to check if it was ok, and I went back home happy because I could try it on and realize it was actually as good as the social media was saying. My happiness didn’t last long… after three uses, just today when I opened it the same thing happened, the brush was no longer attached to the stick. I no longer have the receipt, so it seems this have been a total waste of money. I’ve seen other people complaining about the same issue. I trust L’Oréal for my skincare, my hair care, and all products in general, but this one has been a disappointment for me.

Disappointed

Purchased this just last night (6/3/2025) and I opened it as my daughter was playing. Had just come back from a late night trip from target. Just to find it right out of the packaging broken. I twisted to open pulled the stick out to see how the brush looked and the brush was not even attached. Here I go today having to replace it. I dont usually purchase this brand but I wanted to try it because it is beautiful and the brush looked like it would serve my lashes. I understand companys are not perfect but I feel this review us helpful.

Need waterproof version

So this is actually a great Mascara. I had a wedding where I got to be one of the bridesmaids and used this L’Oréal Paris Big Deal mascara, and Ohh my. Unfortunately my eyes are a bit small and I thought it was not going to be noticeable. But Good gorgeous those eyelashes got so big!

I switched from the Voluminous® to the Paradise and it's better than the voluminous. I next tried the Big Deal and it was fine at first although I didn't like the small brush. But halfway through the tube, it started gooping up bit time. I had to throw it away as it was hard to get my eyelashes separated. I'll go back to the Paradise.

I really liked this mascara the couple of times I got to use it until the wand broke in the tube. I have never had that happen before. Needless to say it's a big disappointment and waste of money for an unusable product.

Easy to apply and makes a big difference

The big deal mascara by L’Oréal is great! I have really short lashes that disappear when I don’t have any makeup on, and this mascara absolutely adds definition and length to them. The brush is easy to use and helps to separate my lashes as well. Great product.

Definitely makes my lashes longer and it doesn’t clump. Great mascara what’s the exception that it flakes quickly with one layer. Unless buying this product at Walmart is not the same as buying it from the drugstore or a different store as in Ulta. One of the best

Tried this mascara at Ulta and feel in love. I was going to buy one before i was sent the product. There’s no scent and the application is easy and not messy. I have short eyelashes and this really helps my lashes with volume. Worth every penny.
