Disappointment and frustration.
I purchased this product via Amazon. Upon opening to use the wand was broken and no brush on on the wand. I assumed it came off inside the tube. I inserted a screwer to investigate and could not feel any type of brush.
I purchased another from my local Walmart. Thought I could use it and when finished, use the wand on the previous tube. To my surprise, this wand was also broken with no brush in the tube. What gives Loreal, I've spent almost $30 on your defective product. I've seeing reviews that others have had the same issue.

The holy grail

Best mascara
This is 4 layers of mascara. Comes in a pretty bottle and don't need much for each layer. Definitely the best mascara ive ever used and will only use now! No harsh ingredients it has floral oil and is subtle for sensitive eyes.

Product quality
I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago, as soon as I got home I opened it to see how the brush looked and the brush was not even attached. Went back to the store and got it replaced. I opened it in the spot to check if it was ok, and I went back home happy because I could try it on and realize it was actually as good as the social media was saying. My happiness didn’t last long… after three uses, just today when I opened it the same thing happened, the brush was no longer attached to the stick. I no longer have the receipt, so it seems this have been a total waste of money. I’ve seen other people complaining about the same issue. I trust L’Oréal for my skincare, my hair care, and all products in general, but this one has been a disappointment for me.

Purchased this just last night (6/3/2025) and I opened it as my daughter was playing. Had just come back from a late night trip from target. Just to find it right out of the packaging broken. I twisted to open pulled the stick out to see how the brush looked and the brush was not even attached. Here I go today having to replace it. I dont usually purchase this brand but I wanted to try it because it is beautiful and the brush looked like it would serve my lashes. I understand companys are not perfect but I feel this review us helpful.

So this is actually a great Mascara. I had a wedding where I got to be one of the bridesmaids and used this L’Oréal Paris Big Deal mascara, and Ohh my. Unfortunately my eyes are a bit small and I thought it was not going to be noticeable. But Good gorgeous those eyelashes got so big!

Big Deal wasn't a big deal. Goopy..
I switched from the Voluminous® to the Paradise and it's better than the voluminous. I next tried the Big Deal and it was fine at first although I didn't like the small brush. But halfway through the tube, it started gooping up bit time. I had to throw it away as it was hard to get my eyelashes separated. I'll go back to the Paradise.

Easy to apply and makes a big difference
The big deal mascara by L’Oréal is great! I have really short lashes that disappear when I don’t have any makeup on, and this mascara absolutely adds definition and length to them. The brush is easy to use and helps to separate my lashes as well. Great product.

Definitely makes my lashes longer and it doesn’t clump. Great mascara what’s the exception that it flakes quickly with one layer. Unless buying this product at Walmart is not the same as buying it from the drugstore or a different store as in Ulta. I am very disappointed as I read many reviews before wasting my money on mascara !! I finally gave in for mess. Boo.

Tried this mascara at Ulta and feel in love. I was going to buy one before i was sent the product. There’s no scent and the application is easy and not messy. I have short eyelashes and this really helps my lashes with volume. Worth every penny.

Horrible from day one.

This mascara gives major length and volume!! I love loreal eye products and this one is amazing! I'm very much into lashes but I didn’t need to add any with this mascara. It's so bold in color and stays on all day!

Falls Short
Previously I have used the regular Lash Paradise mascara and really liked it, so I was very excited to try this one. Plus, it has a rubber spoolie, which typically I prefer. However, this fell short. It did not do much for my lashes and didn’t lengthen or voluminize enough for my liking.

This mascara promises what it says in the package. The applicator is great for those women with short eye lashes like me. The scent is also good. The only con would be that the mascara can get a little thick but with the right application technique you can make it work. Overall, I do recommend this mascara.

The applicator is a kind of silicone base, with the bristles staggered in between. I didn't see any clumps on a second application, despite not giving it much volume it did increase the length considerably, I would say almost double. It looks very natural, although I know my eyelashes are not like that. Very easy to apply without smudging, very clean. I would apply a second coat and not wait for it to dry completely between coats.

Great bargain
Great value for the cost. It does what it says, it lengthens and thickens the lashes. I tried it without using a lash separator to see the performance, and it did clump some of my lashes together. The packaging was a little bulky with such a large applicator, but not too hard to use. I will definitely use the mascara plenty, because it did give me some great length. I will just use a lash separator in the future.

Not my fave mascara
Received this mascara from influenster. I personally did not like it because the wand is too thin. It works good for my bottom lashes as it separates them perfectly but I didn’t like it much for my top lashes. I would probably not buy it for myself. Other than that I would say it is easy to remove.

Great Formula For Length and Separation!
I'm starting off by saying this is a fantastic mascara. I'm used to purchasing the higher end brand mascaras, but honestly this fella, I don't think I will be anymore.
The packaging is this cute rose gold and feels great in the hand for application. I like how the wand is gently tapered down to more easily follow the natural shape of the eyes.
The brush really does a fantastic job of lengthening the lashes and keeping them well separated which I LOVE. I do not really like mascara that clumps my lashes together.
The formula is a good wetness level, easy to swipe on, but doesn't run. I don't feel the need to double coat my lashes, one go around is enough for the dramatic effect I'm looking for.
I wear this mascara all day long and I have zero flakiness or fallout and my lashes are still looking lifted and lengthened.
I would recommend this product, and I plan to repurchase it when I am out of it as well!

Review: L’Oréal Big Deal Mascara
I received the L’Oréal Big Deal Mascara from Influenster in exchange for my honest review, and it’s a decent everyday mascara, but it didn’t completely wow me.
The formula gives good volume and length, but I found it to be a bit clumpy if I applied more than one coat. The brush is large and fluffy, which helps add fullness, but it can be tricky to control, especially on lower lashes. Love this mascara!

A good affordable option
Most of my favorite mascaras are from the drugstore, and this one holds up. I have short straight lashes, so wet formulas weigh them down, but this formula is on the dryer side which i prefer. I definitely noticed more volume than i did length, but it didnt clump easily and seemed to last well. A good affordable option.

For the price of this Mascara I would say it’s pretty good. When applied it added length and volume to my lashes but it did have some clumping issues. It also seemed easy to smudge when applying but dries fairly quickly. Overall not bad for the price and would definitely use again.

I think this is a solid mascara. It adds both volume and length to the lashes equally. Since it’s a true black shade, I like to save it for evenings. My only flag is that it dries quick so if you smudge it on your eyelid, you need to wipe it immediately.

This a good go to mascara. I like a defining and lengthening mascara and that is what this brush is. The container is pretty sturdy. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is it can clump, especially at the end of the wand. It collects a lot of product. But over all I do like this a lot
