HOW TO USE

Add Le Color Gloss One Step In-Shower Toning Gloss into your routine with the following steps:
Step 1. Shampoo your hair as normal, squeezing out any excess water if necessary, then detangle your hair.
Step 2. Dispense Le Color Gloss into your hand and evenly distribute the formula all the way through your hair to the ends. Use a wide tooth comb to distribute through thicker and curly textures.
Step 3. Leave on for 5 to 15 minutes. Review instructions for specific development time for your shade and desired result.
Step 4. Rinse hair thoroughly with water.

Tip: Looking for even more color? To build a deeper result (especially on non color-treated hair) use again after 7 days. To remove color if desired, use a clarifying shampoo

Best product ever!

Color gloss: After try to dye my hair at home and several mistakes I used chemicals for 5 times. My hair was very damaged and dry with a lot of brass mixing. The Le Color Gloss just saved all my hair in 1 use: removed mostly of the brass and gave back shine, hydration with a loose finish (PERFECT!). I spent a lot of money with purple shampoos and masks that just this one product can make all the work much more easier (1 time per week). I left seating on hair for about 30 minutes. Than I applied more hydration cream on the top of the product (waiting more 10 minutes) and washed off just with water (without shampoo). I'm very impressed and now the L'Oréal Le Color Gloss is my favorite brass corrector ever!

COOL BLONDE IS TERRIBLE!

i bought the cool blonde with high hopes. opened the bottle and it was purple, i thought “why not, i’ll try it” AND IT STAINED MY SCALP PURPLE! i’ve been trying to wash it out with a clarifying shampoo, hopefully it goes away. SO disappointed and upset.

Green not with envy

It turned my hair green..not at first. The initial color looks great. It's a deep warm chocolate brown put of the container. It smells good. It feels good. But after it fades out after a wash it left a green after color that is tacky. It's green in a very bad way. Not green like you might see in Colorista turquoise but green like you made a mistake and now you needs oops color correction. It's not the end of the world. It happens. It is annoying..it's just more reasons to test before you go whole hog. You don't really want this to happen to your hair. I am going to probably put it up to if it seems too good to be true it probably is. The color on the box is beautiful, in the container it's beautiful, on your hair it is beautiful, but the actual tint tone is puke green. It's not the end of the world it's just my hair. I'm Chicago no one would notice really they might think I wanted green hair. But this is not St Patrick's Day green. It's oh no gotta wear a hat green. It's dissatisfaction disappointing. And disastrous.

The absolute best

I’ve tried pretty much every silver toner from this line, and without a doubt, this one is the winner. It completely neutralizes all yellow and orange tones in my hair with no visible damage. My only complaint is that it starts to fade after about three washes. Still, the results are good enough to deserve 5 stars.

The bottoms of my hair is highlighted a hi/low lights of golden blond colors. I spoke with a consultant from L’Oréal she said to use Golden Bronde so I did. I was suppose to tone my golden colors to an ash but instead it turned them an ugly brass color. I followed the directions to a T. There you go, that’s my experience. I want my $ back.I’m returning to CVS for a refund. Not sure what to do from here….. ;(

I followed the instructions and didn't leave it on more than 10 minutes as recommended. My hair is not dry and stiff. I have a hard time detangling after washing. I also am not impressed with the color results. The color is spotty. It turned the yellow hair to a grey in some areas but not others. I won't bother using the rest of this bottle and hope my hair returns to its original soft texture soon.

I tried hair color remover, lemon juice, vinegar, baking soda shampoo paste, Dawn dishwashing liquid shampoos and clarifying shampoos with NO positive results. The only results were found when I toned with this product. It works well!

I used the bayalage light to dark blonde and my hair came out perfectly until I used the toner then my hair came out ruined my hair was way too dark and we were both disappointed because my granddaughter did my hair for my birthday and she did it for the first time but I do my hair all the time and it wasn't her fault it was the toner it turned my hair from a beautiful blonde to a too dark color far from the light blonde and no highlights.

Sometimes it looks a little dull, so I tried Platinum Pearl. This stuff is amazing! I left it on about 12 minutes, blew it dry, and then went out to eat with friends. They complimented me on my hair, how shiny it was, how healthy it looked, and how beautiful it was. Wooo wooo!

I bought the clear because I just wanted more shine and smoothness. It seems to give a little shine and smoothness. (reason for the 3 stars) I haven't put any color on my hair since 2018 because I like my gray streaks. I was hoping this would make the gray show up better. Even though I bought the clear it seems to blend my grays in with the brown so my grays don't show up as well. (not what I wanted) but this would have been great when I was growing my hair out. So if you are growing your gray out it might be good to try during the awkward stage. I'm wondering if I should have bought a gray/silver color to make my gray streaks show up, but I thought that might make my brown look funny. I think this would be a good product for someone else but not me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Muzzy from Excellent gloss, subtle color enhancements My hair has gone grey, and it looks drab and is super fragile. I've been using this product for years and I LOVE IT!!! You cannot expect dramatic changes with this as it is a gloss -- it can only DEPOSIT color . I noticed someone complain that this product doesn't lift at all. Right. This product contains no peroxide and no ammonia so it cannot lighten your hair. At all. But if you want zero damage and beautiful natural enhancement, this is awesome. I've tried the white and the silver and the blonde and the colorless gloss. All are totally perfect for me because my hair is very, very light now that I've gone grey-white naturally. I'd like to try the red . . . but if I do, I'd plan to mix a little in a dish with the blonde gloss because the red shade is so much darker than my current natural hair color. Likewise, if I wanted to go dark brown, I'd use actual permanent haircolor for a dramatic change, not this gloss in dark brown. This product does an exceptional job at what it says it will do . . . it conditions and enhances your natural color -- provided you choose a gloss color close to your current color.

I am tired of using those chemicals to dye my hair. My roots have grown out about 2 inches and the rest is blonde. Are use the platinum and it turned out great. It’s not completely platinum, but it brightens up my blonde to match my roots. I will be using this again.

My hair is highlighted a very light shade(no color) and it revitalized it with shine and a soft cool taupe shade (my go to and very flattering). Next time I may leave in longer now that I know what to expect. No dying of my scalp at all.

(I’ll attach a picture) so I when I received this I figured “great! I’ll use this to town down the darker blonde side!) well I was wrong.. because it did nothing… ugh! Idk maybe it will work for other people… just wasn’t for me. (First picture was before bleaching, second picture was after bleaching and using this product)

The gloss gave my Auburn hair a nice boost of vibrancy and shine. It also somehow made my natural curls bounce back! That was an added and unexpected (but very pleasant) result. I don't know if it's the conditioners in the product that made my curls bounce back or what but it was noticable enough to where friends were asking if I got a perm! A monthly gloss treatment has become my Hair Holy Grail!

My hair is chin-length - and I find that I can leave it on for 10 minutes in the shower while shaving my legs (or cleaning the shower to be honest!) and it does what it says it will do. The results are great! My hair loves this formula. I get a warm, natural pearl shade - so easy to comb out and style. The only caveat - it doesn't stay in my hair after I shampoo. So, I wash every 2-3 days and reapply.

I have just above shoulder-length, thick golden brown hair. I used about one third of the tube and left it on for 15 minutes as directed. I did not notice that my hair had any increased shine or better condition after use. The gloss product is difficult to rinse out and the smell is overwhelming. I’ll give it a pass - can’t find any benefit to it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Kiki from It’s just strong purple shampoo… Horrible. I use color glosses all the time - my favorite being the dphue products. This “gloss” made my pale blonde hair gray. Not cute trendy gray/silver- it was old lady witch Halloween costume gray. And left my strawberry blonde roots completely untouched - which I wasn’t expecting a huge difference since it’s not dye-but this product should help “blend” the colors in your hair. Good news is that I got almost all of the the product out after a few good shampoos. Bad news is I tried a different L’Oréal product: the superior preference …in a medium ash blonde. Now this color is two shades darker than all parts of my hair. I got the same results as using this gloss!!!! FACE PALM. Not sure why no one answers on the messaging/texting help line. Do they take the weekends off? People don’t color their hair on the weekend? Where’s the logic in that? Well I can say I finally tried doing my hair color at home … never again. Back to the salon I go.

I have long thick wavy to curly hair. I got three uses out of one tube but that is because I do not lighten my under layer, though the amount of bleached hair is still a lot. I was so very happy with the results. It was as though I did a full blown permanent color and developer tone. My hair was the exact cool tone I wanted, looked so shiny and healthy, and lasted several several washes. Not to mention the product smells so very good. This is the best one step no-mix color toning I've ever used; and I've tried A LOT.

But after following the instructions, there was no difference in the tone of my hair. I thought maybe I needed to leave it on longer but that didn't work either. I even tried applying it to dry hair. I also didn't notice any added shine or smoothness from the gloss. However, it does smell nice and as other reviews have said, it doesn't stain.
