First of all, I've been doing hair for YEARS and I was one of those people who talked down about box dye...However, I was in a bind the other day and was completely out of lightener and was in desperate need of it. All professional stores were closed so I bit the bullet and bought this at my local grocery store...AND OH MY GOODNESS!!! This stuff is better than what I use at the salon I ran!!! I can't get over how well and EVEN this lifted my super dark hair extensions!!! This little gem lifted the hair to a beautiful blonde on the first try! That's unheard of!!! I hope they keep this product forever, because I am in love and refuse to use anything else now!

What to expect from Feria Hyper Platinum

General tips:
1. This product is a very thick cream that makes it super difficult to distribute over your hair so you can easily miss patches and get non-uniform results. My suggestion is not to use its applicator instead pour it in a plastic bowl and use a dye brush or your hand to distribute it evenly.
2. At least buy two boxes. One box is not enough unless you have supper short or very thin hair (I wish L'Oréal was more generous!). I have shoulder-length hair and even two bottles were not enough for me, and I missed small patches in the back. It is always good to have extra to completely cover and saturate everything to avoid patchy results.
What you can expect from this product:
My natural hair color is dark brown level 2 or 3, it is not thick at all. I used to dye my hair with Champagne Blonde (8.5A), L'Oréal Excellence Crème, and I like it on my natural hair. It doesn’t come out as in the picture on the box at all (as expected) but it gives me light brown/dark brown color with the minimum orange tone possible without bleaching. Of course, it becomes brassy after several weeks, as you can see in the picture under artificial lights (in reality it is not as bad as in the picture!). The Feria Hyper Platinum can lift my dyed hair as well as my natural hair at the root up to yellow-gold bleached color (about level 8) as you can see in the picture. I put it about 60+ min away from my root and 30+ min at my root per its instruction. The purple conditioner does not do much at all! Only my baby hair around my face became platinum blond!
In a nutshell, it works like bleach, but does not burn the scalp, and does not give you enough lift and ashy tone to get to platinum blonde from dark hair. You need additional toner treatment to get a good result.

Ended up with very brassy, yellow hair. I had to use another box and the toner. I still ended up dyeing my hair brown because I did not like the color.

BEST lightened ever!

Ive had my hair bleached for years, I m a retired hairdresser. After bleaching and toning for years, I decided to give my hair a break. Grew out the bleach and decided to try Absolute Platinum. I thought there was no way this was gonna get my hair.As light as it shows on the box. And if it did, it was gonna be very bright.Yellow. Boy, was I wrong.
This got my color so perfect. I didn't even need to use antibrasy shampoo
These reflexes, this lifted better than cream oil. Bleach with 40 volume developer.
I don't know how, but this is the best lightner ever.

Not what it used to be to be

Not sure what has happened to this product or brand. This dye use to be my go to for changing up my color because of the lift quality. The past two years of purchasing this and another bleach from Féria has been terrible! The boxes are clearly very old because they will NOT mix! The product is runny with clumps no matter how much it’s mixed. For the record, yes, I can read and follow the instructions correctly. Such a shame because this USE TO work and be wonderful. No I’m. It paid for this review. It’s honest.

Definitely the one I would rather use than another store brand bleach or toner! Works nice, easy instructions. Doesn't give off a horrible smell like most toners or bleach do! Gave me the blond I was looking for!

Honestly, this bleach system surprised me! It lifted my hair evenly without frying it, and it didn’t have that super harsh smell most bleaches do. My hair still feels soft, and the color came out way brighter than I expected.

Great packaging and comes with mostly everything you need to achieve the perfect platinum color at an affordable price. I recommend using a good toner afterwards for darker hair colors.

Better than salon bleach

Great bleach! I have been dying my roots for years so my hair is pretty saturated with color. It cut through my dark hair easily without being too brassy. My hair didn’t feel dry after using like it usually would with salon bleach. The smell wasn’t too harsh either!

I have dark brown hair. I mixed the product according to directions, applied liberally to dry hair, waited the maximum amount of time (60 minutes), rinsed, applied the conditioner that "eliminates brass," waited five more minutes, rinsed thoroughly, and ended up with brassy, light brown hair.

I'm very disappointed. The box promised platinum blonde and I'm orange! I am naturally a level 7 with some white. I had your product on my hair for a full hour and spritzed lightly with water and put a cap on for the last 10 minutes. I did find it rather thick for use with the bottle, so I did some with a color brush. I have fluffy hair and eeked out just enough to cover it all. I used the purple toner and after rinsing, I used a deep conditioner. My hair feels fairly soft, which is good, but it's still orange. I'm a natural redhead, but the box said platinum and could lift up to 8 shades. I figured platinum is probably a level 10 and with my natural 7, that's only 3 levels, so... no problem. I was wrong. I am orange. Now, I've got to figure out how to fix this.
Oh, and suggestion: if you are going to have a help line that's only open Monday through Friday, please state that clearly in the instructions so people know you're not there to help on the weekends.

Not terrible, but not great either. You can see from pics that the color turned out just about what I expected, a bit orange, a lot orange, and not even close to a salon quality hair dye job. Would not try again.

Unfortunately, I have no product to review. I never received the products for this campaign.
A few months ago I was supposed to receive a box of toner and this Hyper Platinum Advanced Lightening System Bleach to test. Neither product arrived at my house. I am currently having this problem with 2 other campaigns as well. I have reached out to support many times and I never received a response.
I'm truly saddened by this because I have loved Influenster for a long time and really wanted to continue to participate.

I tested this on a black human hair wig, and the bleach effectively lifted the wig's dark base to a light to medium brown with some brassy undertones. This is impressive given how dark the starting color was. However, the wig did not reach the desired shade in one session. Achieving lighter results would likely require an additional bleaching session.

I get so many compliments when I'm out shopping. I've been using the hyper platinum for 3 years and my hair still feels so soft and looks shiny. I highly recommend this, but also know that everyone's hair is different, so what works for me may not work for other people.

Packaging is cute and has a great color scheme! I wasn’t able to try the product out though. I was recommended by a cosmetics professional to not use it for my hair so I wasn’t able to get a proper review out of it. The application process looked simple and easy to follow though. I feel like there are healthier ways to lighten hair color.

If you want an ice blonde color then this is it fir you. My natural color is a very pale Grey to start with. I've been using this once every six months, and the color is beautiful. Yes I would recommend this to anyone looking for the very lifestyle shade of platinum without the brasseness that some light shades give.

Definitely did the job but my hair was way too light after use and felt very brittle. I know this is expected when bleaching and may have been the condition of my hair but would probably not do at-home again I'm the future.

I have to say that this product doesn’t work as the advertising or box indicates. I applied it by myself following the instructions and the result was terrible. I tried a second time in the next day with the other box and my hair turned neon yellow. I had to bleach it afterwards to try to fix it but ended up darkening it because there were a lot of damage in my poor thin hair. My recommendation if you want to be blonde, go to a salon with a professional in the matter.

I have not used a hair color that you have to mix powder. The powder got stuck in the nipple of the applicator and came out all uneven. And I shook it good. I will not be using this product again.

I'm a Professional Cosmetologist for over 2 decades & hyper platinum doesn't burn the scalp like other bleaches. Easy application & use a wide tooth comb to pull slightly thru on a touch up. A full application will require 2-3 boxes or more depending on your hair length. The aftercare purple conditioner works well also.
