glad L'Oreal are coming to their senses

I had purchased the original Elnet spray, only to throw it out after the first use, loved the hold but HATED the fragrance! as soon as I read the e-mail L'Oreal sent me, I literally went to the store to buy the fragrance free version. hope they keep bringing more fragrance free formulas in their skin care line as well, I think L'Oreal is losing a lot of customers to Olay and Neutrogena because they regulary have fragrance free versions of their product.

Not really unscented

This hairspray works, but is not unscented. I'm sure that it's better than the original, but the ingredients even say there is fragrance. For me it can be an initial problem then it quickly goes away. But if someone were really allergic to scents, it is unfair to label this unscented. Surely you can actually make this unscented!

L’Oreal Elnett Satin Hairspray

I don’t style my hair often, so when I do I like reaching for this hairspray to help lock in the style for a little longer. I like that this product doesn’t have a pull off cap, so it’s easy to use with one hand to grab and spray. The mist is fine and even, so it applies evenly to the hair without making certain sections crunchier than others. The hold lasts longer than other hairsprays I’ve tried, and I like that this one in particular is unscented so it works without clashing with all my perfumes. It also washes easily without creating much buildup, and I like that it still leaves my hair soft and shiny without any of the traditional crunchiness or white residue like other hairsprays. This is my new favorite!

Not unscented, has fragrance added

I believe the label has a false claim. It says unscented, but it does in fact have a scent and literal fragrance in the ingredient list. I purchased it to help my eczema as I am trying to cut out all fragrance out of my beauty routine. I saw a response from L’Oréal that scent is subjective, sure it may be but not when you add fragrance to your ingredient list after saying it’s scent free, that’s not subjective any longer. Product smells good and works but is misleading especially if you were buying it for health reasons.

Because this product is labeled unscented, it does contain a fragrance ingredient in the ingredient list, which explains what you noticed. Whether you want some curls, straight hair or a back bun, this product is one of the best. It’s doesn’t smell and it’s lightweight. It last through humidity. You would need to reapply if you want result for more than 24hrs. It come off easily. No white cast or other residue

I’ve decently enjoyed this hair spray it provides a strong hold that keeps my hair in place all day without feeling stiff or crunchy even with the humidity. I appreciate it being unscented and doesnt leave a sticky residue and overall keeps my hair feeling soft and brush-able . Overall I recommend as a reliable hold and light weight hair spray.

Has the hairspray formula changed recently? I have noticed a big difference in how my hair feels these days. The last two cans of spray I bought have made my hair feel very sticky, and glued together. Not at all like it used to be after using Elnett.
