The sprayer causes my hair to be wet and droopy.
What have you done to my hair spray! I've used this product for years and always happy with it. The last 4 cans I've purchased have been horrible. What did you change? Did you change the sprayer? Now the product comes out like water. It spits. There's no fine mist like before. Please fix this!!

No one buy this product anymore. They completely ruined it by randomly changing the formula into something so bad and useless. Also they still tried to falsely advertise it as the "weather control" spray on retail sites. What a horrible decision by this company because clearly everyone is upset with this new formula and wants the original spray back. You just lost me as a longtime buyer of this product and will look for a new company. DON'T BUY.

No longer works!
I have used this for as long as I can remember. However, suddenly it's not working for me at all. It's sticky and flattens my hair. So disappointing. I will be looking for a replacement.

Why change a good thing??
Have been a avid and happy user of this hair spray for many years. It's the only one I could find that was reasonably priced and could keep my fine, thin hair in place from the moment I sprayed it. I am so incredibly disappointed in the change that was made to the formula. It's like spraying water on my already-flat hair. I hope they change it back, but until then, I'm going to try using the Bed Head Hard Head hairspray which is supposed to be similar in hold to the old L'Oreal formula.

New formula is not beneficial
I've used this hairspray for a couple of years or so and have loved it! The last 2 cans I purchased, however, are clearly NOT the same formula. The spray is no longer a fine mist and comes out in much bigger drops, resulting in uneven distribution on my hair.
Please return to the original formula for this hairspray. This formulation is bad!

Changes but I purchased a second can and it’s the same! Wet and bubbles. My hair now looks dirty instead of full and holding all day. I work in healthcare and it was the best for high heat and humid rooms. Now I have to find a new hair spray! After 7 yrs of this being my go to! Change it back .. please! Many of my friends purchased it on my recommendation and they all say the same. I have one older can left at my boyfriend’s house in Florida and saving it for special occasions. Worse decision ever ! You already tripled the price since 2021 now you go and change the formula? I would rather pay more for what we want!

Formula change - no longer use product
Used to love this hairspray. Now it sprays out in white, wet dots all over my hair. I can’t even use the product anymore and have wasted a lot of money by purchasing different cans hoping that I just got a few defective ones. Extremely disappointed in the change that has been made with this hairspray. Now I’m in search of a new hairspray.

Changed and it's awful!
Have used this for years and recently it's changed! It's wet and does not spray a fine mist like before. I even thought it was the nozzles and switched an old can and its still wet and sprays all over. Please change it back. Loved the old formula and so disappointed. Loved this hairspray and have used it for years. Last week I sprayed my hair with a new can and immediately felt a difference. It felt wet and had no hold. I found a bottle I keep in my travel bag and compared ingredients to find you have changed the formula. Please please go back. This new recipe does not work.

New formula with extreme wet mist is awful now.
Loved this hairspray and highly recommended it to so many people. It was literally my favorite product to hold my curls because it didn't feel crunchy and it last all day long. It was perfect in my opinion. Then I bought a new can of hairspray recently and it now it has a extreme hard mist and feels very wet and just overall awful. Give me back the other formula and gentle mist it used to be. So disappointed with whatever happened to my favorite hair product and will not use if this new formula/hard spray stays this way.

Bring back the real Weather Control Hairspray
I have been a long time user of the Lock It Weather Control Hairspray. But recently I can not find it, only cans of the awful Lock It Humidity Control, which comes out in huge droplets and ruins your hairstyle. I will be shopping for a different hairspray as it seems the Weather Control is no more. Not sure why you made the change, L’Oreal, but looks like I’m not the only disappointed customer.

I have used this for years. I have loved this hairspray because it definitely works and high humidity. However, the last five cans that I have bought sprays a very thick wet and foamy spray onto your hair. I have bought four cans from Amazon and I canceled my subscription to it. I have also bought two from local grocery stores and it’s the same issue. Something is definitely different and I hope they fix it.

Product doesn't exist anymore. False advertising!
Well, I found the community of people who are trying to find out why we keep getting "Humidity Control" when we order "Weather Control." I spent $80 on hair spray this week just trying to find a bottle of Weather Control, but still no luck. Apparently, they changed it and many others are outraged too. The new formula is the most terrible thing I've ever used. It is like spraying foamy water on your hair. It shouldn't be labeled as hair spray. I've been using the Loreal "Weather Control" for years. A bottle a week. I've lost all faith in the Loreal brand.

Don’t buy, formula has changed
The product has changed a now it’s terrible. I used the original product for two years and it was great. Now I have two cans of unusable product. I bought a second can because I thought I had a faulty can due to the wet and heavy application of the spray nozzle. Now I know the formula has changed and that’s the core issue of the unusable product. Your website is not updated with the new ingredient label. Poor or no product testing and sloppy execution.

So disgusting, you had a great product and you just ruined it. I used this hair spray for years and it was GREAT! I was subscribed on Amazon and received frequently. The last shipment I got I noticed something strange immediately so I tried another can and same thing, I thought maybe they froze or something but after looking at the ingredients from an old can I see they changed ingredients. Well I guess I'll be looking for a different kind of hair spray! I have been using this hairspray for years and it worked great. I don't know what you've done to it, but it comes out so heavy and wet. A gem no more!
Oh no no no L’Oreal what did you do?? This spray was my go to for years and being a haistylist I have 100’s of clients using this spray…. Until you changed the formula or the nozzle. At first I thought I got a couple bad cans from amazon, threw them away and bought two more at the store only to realize you MEANT to do this😩. It comes flying out in big droplets almost like a rave pump spray from the 80’s, weighing down the hair and making it sticky. I will be going back to Kenra 25 along with my enitre clientelle. What a shame!

Apparently we’re not worth it anymore
I’m very disappointed in you L’Oréal. This was my go to hairspray for years. I’ve got very fine hair and it would literally lock my style for the whole day. Your new formula now leaves it wet, drooping and doesn’t hold past my morning meetings. You are going to lose a lot of loyal customers with this change, me being one of them. I’ll be looking for a new hairspray unless you correct the formula. What happened to the “Because I’m worth it” mentality?

I have thin fine hair and have been using the weather control formula for years because it was the only product that worked on my hair. I absolutely loved it. The new humidity control formula is awful. It is wet and leaves my hair flat and wet looking. PLEASE PLEASE bring back the original formula. I am so upset! I have very fine hair and for years searched for a hairspray that worked on my type of hair. I finally found it with Lock It WEATHER Control hairspray, which I have been using over ten years. I bought my last can at Walmart and immediately thought something was wrong because it was wet, sticky and made my hair stick together while also getting all over my shower glass and counter top. I took it back without even looking at the can, but realized when I went to get a new can, that they now say Lock It HUMIDITY Control. This product is awful and I implore Loreal to ditch this mess and reinstate the Weather Control formula. If not, sadly I will have to search for a new product moving forward.

Used to love it now I hate it
I have been using this hairspray for years. Recently the formula changed, and let ne tell you it absolutely sucks now! The spray comes out heavy and very wet. It leaves my skin and hair wet. I have to use my blow dryer to re-dry my hair, and there is no hold at all. It's like spraying water, except it somehow is sticky on my floor. Anyway, what a disappointment.

I'm so upset! I have used this hairspray, LOCKIT, For a long, long time! Years and years! The formula has changed and now it goes on wet, and I have to use my hairdryer to dry it! Sticky, stinky, and wet!
I used to love this product. It had a nice smell, a dry spray, and great hold. In the past year or so, something has changed. I thought it was just the sprayers themselves, but now seeing the reviews, it is the product. It is way too wet. I Iiterally feel the spray landing on my arms and shoulders and my floor.It is such a shame that the cost of the product has gone up, but the quality has gone down. I have returned/swapped so many cans recently, but it looks like I am just going to have to find a new product.

Not good for curly hair anymore
I’ve used this hairspray for years and it was the ONLY hairspray that made my curls perfect. They changed the formula without any warning. I have 5 cans of this new formula because I had it on auto-ship. Now it just seems like water. It makes my curls wet, frizzy, and flat- and it looks horrible. I’ve canceled my subscription and will never use this product again. Now I’m stuck trying to find a different product for my curls. I’m so sad and also upset you changed the formula and didn’t say a word.

I have used this product for YEARS and it has been amazing until it was changed. Now all the sudden it’s not weather control is now labeled as humidity control. I assumed it was just a name changed but the whole product has changed to the worst hair product ever created! I mean it’s absolutely awful! It is like spraying sticky water on your hair. And within 2 minutes the fly aways are right back. Plus your hair is weighted down and feels worse than ever from this junk. Unless this changes back to the original formula, you’ve lost a loyal customer.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent change in formula to your weathe control hairspray. I have been a loyal customer for many years and have consistently been willing to pay the higher price because of the quality, performance, and finished look it provided.
Unfortunately, the new formula leaves my hair with an undesirable wet appearance, even when applied from 10–12 inches away. In addition, it does not hold as effectively as the previous version. The result is a look that appears cheap and inconsistent with the standards your brand has represented for years.
Because of this change, I can no longer justify paying a premium price for a product that no longer delivers the quality I expect. Regrettably, I will be seeking an alternative brand after many years of loyalty.

Saddened by formula change
The original formula of this hairspray has been my absolute favorite for years, but the new formula is much too wet and does not come out of the nozzle correctly. Super sad because this is the only hairspray that has been good for curly hair. I am now going to have to explore other brands unless they decide to revert back to the original formula.

AWFUL- GOES ON WET, NO MATTER HOW FAR YOU HOLD IT
I bought this spray faithfully - both my husband and I loved its hold and weather control. Now it ha been changed to "humidity control," the formula is AWFUL. Even though I hold it 12" from my hair, my hair becomes WET and takes a few minutes to dry. This is NOT good on curly hair!! Also, I LIKE to hold the spray close to get a spot (such as bangs, or roots) specifically, which was great with the old formula but now IMPOSSIBLE with the new. I have to find a new hairspray.

Decade of loyal use down the drain
Quite literally the ONLY hairspray I’ve used for the last decade, the recent formula change has made it completely unusable. The new spray cap also is unusable. Large, very sticky droplets compared to the original very fine mist that dries quickly. Not to mention, the price has increased almost 3x since I started using this product. Disappointed is an understatement, this is a product I’ve literally repurchased a 100 times.

Not happy with product change
This has been my favorite hairspray and a must have in my hair care for at least 7 or 8 years now. However, the last 3 cans i have bought have been a huge disappointment to me. I was hoping it was just a bad can the first time, but the next 2 cans were also bad. The formula has changed and its like I'm spraying water on my hair and its not holding my hair at all. It comes out as white foamy like splotches onto my hair and seems to have a hard time making it through the nozzle. Highly disappointed, as im afraid Im going to have to find a different hairspray now and thats not easy to do. I hope whatever the change was doesnt last and Loreal can go back to how it was.
