This is the best hairspray I have ever used! Love the fine most that hectic comes out. You did however change it from "Weather Control" to "Humidity control" and the new one is awful! Spray comes out messy as little white beads all over my hair. WHY!!!!??? don't you test it?

Defective spray can
I have been a lifelong user of this hairspray. I recently purchased four different cans on Amazon and all of them are defective. The spray is splotchy and leaves bubbles on my hair. The can also bubbles. Please fix the delivery mechanism in this product. This is an amazing hairspray and I would hate for customers like me to never use it again because you can’t or won’t make this right.

Formula changes sprays wet and goopy
I've used this product for years. Years. I bought a can that sprayed so wet, I assumed it was just that can was defective. I threw it away and bought another. After the same result and my hair looking like CRAP for three weeks I researched and the formula has changed. I threw that can away. It's horrible. I and many others implore you to change it back. I cannot use this product with the new formula. The name has changed to humidity control. It looks like my hair on the worst humid day in August.

Go back to the way it was!
I was hoping that I just had a few cans with a bad sprayer, but after seeing the other reviews, that doesn't seem to be the case. So disappointing, I have used this hairspray for years and now it sprays out in wet clumps. And I stuck with 4 bad cans.

Horrible!

The new hairspray formula is absolutely horrible, it comes out way too wet and heavy. After some investigation I realized that the product coming out of Canada does not say water free on the can. This can from Canada is the one that has the terrible formula. The can made in the USA is the good hairspray that you used to have. I don't know why you are sourcing from Canada but it is a terrible formula. US version says water free, Canadian version does not, hence the heavy wetness!!

The Change is No good
I’ve used your Loreal Lock It (Anti frizz) hairspray for many years. I have baby fine, limp hair & this spray makes my hair look full & thicker & holds really well! I receive compliments all the time because of this hairspray & always mention it so others can purchase it to try. Recently the spray has changed & the nozzles are spraying all over & making my hair wet & sticky & frizzy! I noticed there is aqua water added which is terrible now! I have about 12 cans that I can’t use now because it’s no good for my hair. I have to look for another product! I’m so disappointed. I have purchased it so many times over the years & the only thing I have used because it worked so well! I usually keep stock at least a dozen cans so I have plenty on hand & now I can’t even use them. I really wish you could go back to the original ingredients & nozzles! So SAD & DISAPPOINTED! 😢 Thank You!

I DID LOVE THIS PRODUCE. I LIVE IN THE SOUTH AND IT REALLY HELPED WITH HUMIDITY CONTROL. BUT..BOUGHT 5 BOTTLES IN THE LAST MONTH AND ALL HAVE SPRAYED NOTHING BUT WATER IF THEY SPRAYED AT ALL. Unhappy with this product
I have used L’ORÉAL hair products for many years and never had a problem with them. Been using this hairspray and recently have purchased at least 9 cans of it only to have it spray out very heavy and wet instead of the fine mist it used to spray. I currently have four cans that I am unable to use and I am going in search of a different brand today! I have recommended this product for many years to those who were looking for that humidity control. Now I can no longer recommend as it actually makes hair wet, sticky, and frizzy! Very dissatisfied!!

Disappointed after the nozzle has changed
I have purchased many cans of Lock It over the past 5 years b/c it came out smooth and did not bead on my hair. The hold was wonderful and not heavy. The last 2 cans have been so disappointing. The spray is thick and wet. It really hard to use b/c my hair then clumps together where the hairspray beads on my hair. Please go back to the nozzles that were used before.

This new formula SUCKS!
Lock It was my go-to hair spray for a good hold. This new formula SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It ruins my hairstyle. It's like a freakin' fire hose!!!! I just thought I got a bad can, but now I find out you changed the formula???? Why would you put more water in it??? Get a freakin' CLUE!!! Water is just going to pull the curl OUT. CHANGE. IT. BACK. I wrote to the Co. about the new formula in this hairspray. I got the same typical response that you give to the negative reviews on your website. I could not believe how many negative reviews on this hairspray since the formula had been changed and I TOTALLY agree with them all "the new hairspray formula comes out "WET" very wet. The only good thing 'it doesn't stink'. The reply I got from the L'Oreal Contact was to try another L'Oreal hairspray (forgot the name of it) and a lot of the reviews on that product "new formula and the smell stinks". No thank you! What happened to quality control? Someone's not doing a quality job!

New formula the worst, the original was perfect!
I have been super disappointed with this hair spray! I thought that the sprayer head had a defect! The change to this hairspray is terrible! When I spray it on, it is super heavy! I can not style my hair like I did with the other product! Before L’Oréal I used Kenra hairspray and loved it! Then I discovered your hair the old formula! I can’t use this product anymore! It’s way too wet and way too heavy! Why did you change the formula that was perfect and replace with awful?! I have four cans I cannot use! You all made a huge mistake! Lock it formula change is big mistake
I would give it a zero if possible. Been using for many years and the product now sprays out heavy in streams and not a mist. Sad I stocked up on several bottles that probably will be going in the garbage. Changing this line was a bad move.... won't buy again unless it is changed back. Wets my hair in clumps, you can't style your hair with fingers, pink or anything. Not liking it all now. Looking for a replacement brand.

Horrible waste of money, you changed the product!
This new formula is absolutely HORRIBLE. Please bring back the original "Lock It" spray formula. I wasted money on 3 cans thinking that my Amazon purchase was just faulty product. The big foamy wet globs of watery sticky stuff are horrible, it used to be a perfect fine mist.

Begging for the old formula back!
Begging for L’Oréal to remake the original version! Currently in search of a replacement product bc this new Humidity version made with water and is not the same! Many of us loyal customers are accidentally buying this new “version/mixture” of the product we used to love! If the label and main ingredient changed then they need to do a new design so we don’t all accidentally end up buying this lesser quality lookalike product!

Dissatisfied and Disappointed
Fair warning...The formula has changed, and it is not good. I have used this product faithfully for at least 10 years, With the last couple of cans I bought I should have just flushed $20.00. It is now watery, leaves a film, does not hold, it and does not even compare in quality with the original. Unless the original formula is returned, I will not be purchasing again. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with Loreal for this change.

Was great before the change.

I though I was crazy..something changed with this hairspray within the last few months. I’m glad I’m not the only one that noticed the changes with this product. The spray comes out clumpy and very wet. It doesn’t seem to hold well, so you put more on. Then it’s so wet that it just looks like crap. I thought it was a bad lot, so I bought another from a different store..same thing!! I HATE it now. I’m so disappointed. I’ve used the spray for a long time and watched the price go from $4.00 per bottle to now $9. I will no longer purchase this spray. Do better L’Oréal

I used and loved the Weather Control hairspray for years and years. Received the new Humidity Control which is absolute and total junk. The spray comes out of the can so fiercely it creates a part in your hair where there previously was not one. Also leaves your hair sticky, wet and then stiff. Exactly everything you DO NOT WANT in a hairspray. Absolute crap, didn't you have a focus group test this before you released it to the public? SO DISAPPOINTED!

Not a fan of the humidity control hairspray
I loved the weather control hair spray, was using it for years but recently purchased the humidity control which I believe replaced the weather control spray. It is horrible, has a very wet spray and very forceful. I don’t know why they changed a good product. I won’t be purchasing anymore unless they go back to the original weather control hairspray.

I hate the recent change in your product.
I have used this product for years, but you changed something recently. I don't know if you changed the formula or the spray head, or the pressure of the can, but it comes out with a layer of wet and rather than hold my hair, it weighs it down. I am so disappointed and will be looking for a better product unless you go back to the old version.

Can't believe you changed the formula- Fix it
I thought it was just me, this new can I started this week sprays all over the place, white foamy stuff going everywhere. I thought this was a faulty can. Loreal, you changed the formula? I love the weather control (loved)- holds my hair good all day- now I don't know what to think. My hair looks wet today. :( So what is a good alternative now? I have been using this product for 6 years and I have LOVED it. I bought 4 new cans 2 from target and 2 from Amazon and they are terrible. They spray a clumpy watery mess and it gets everywhere. I even used an old nozzle from a former can and it still sprayed really weird. It doesn't work the same, and this is not a cheap hairspray!! Why did it change?

The new formulation is AWFUL
I am in total agreement with these comments. The Lock It Weather Control hairspray was also my absolute favorite hairspray and I have used it for YEARS! It used to spray a fine micromist and now it is unusable for me. It sprays out so thick and my hair gets soaking wet! I go to all of the stores around me and spray each can to try to find any that still spray the fine mist. I have 4 brand new cans sitting on my dresser that are unusable - thats $40 down the drain. Can you please bring back the original formulation? I am very upset especially since this is the only hairspray that has worked great for me. :( :( :(

What happened to my favorite hairspray??
The Lock It Weather Control hairspray was my absolute favorite hairspray and now something has changed and it is unusable for me. It sprays a thick coating with drops of hair spray all over my hair. I have purchased at least 6 different cans in the past few weeks at different stores searching for a can that still works like the old versaion. What happened?? Is the formula changed or the spray features of the can? It also seems to make a different noise when I spray it. The cans aren't cheap and I'm spending a lot of money searching for the original version only to be left with unusable cans of hairspray that coat my hair with droplets of thick hairspray that doesn't even hold. Please help!!

The new formula is mostly water
I have bought this product for years and years and have loved it! But they went and changed the formula and it’s crap. I still have a can of the original formula and was noticing that on the original can it says “weather” and on the new can it says “humidity”. Also, the ingredients on back of the two cans are different even though they have the same UPC number. Original can lists as “alcohol” as the first ingredient. The new can lists “water” as the first ingredient. And it feels like I am spraying water on my hair, it comes out heavier and weighs my hair down. It doesn’t give it a lift and it takes forever to dry. Because it’s mostly water. I guess it’s time to look for a new product!

New Formula is Terrible
This used to be my favorite hairspray. I have been purchasing it for over 3 years. The last 7 cans I have purchased have been consistency bad. This product used to be the best hairspray for my thin, curly hair. It was a gentle mist that held tight right away. Now it is a watery mess that comes out like a fire hose and leaves my hair weighed down and wet for a long time. I compared the label to an older can and found differences. The newer formula is awful and I won’t be buying this product again.

Something's wrong with the new cans.
Same here. Just like the others are saying, something has changed. The cans spray a wet mist with larger droplets. It leaves your hair and whatever else it lands on wet. I live in Oklahoma and this is my daily hairspray, due to high winds and humidity. I have gone to all the Walmart's around me and all the cans they have in the store are the same. L'Oreal, please do something ASAP! I am on my last can and need more. This is the only hairspray that actually works for my fine limp hair.

Why change what set this spray apart from others?
I wish I could give less than 1 star. Whatever this new reformulation is, I HATE it. It performs like a watered down, cheap dollar store spray now. No longer provides instant hold, or any hold for that matter. I’ve been purchasing this hairspray twice or more on a monthly basis for the past 8+ months and will no longer purchase until the old formulation is brought back.

Great-IF YOU CHANGE IT BACK!
I use to LOVE this hairspray, now it's garbage. They changed the formula and now they changed the can pressure to where now your hair is soaked in hairspray after you finish styling your hair and use this product. Which means the hairstyle you just spent an hour on, is ruined. I look like I stepped outside in a light rain, NOT what I am going for. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK! Oh and it's not just the nozzle, I used an old nozzle, same issue, it's the pressure in the can. It should be a fine mist that dries almost immediately, not large droplets of hair spray that I can see on my hand that stays wet to ruin my hair. My hair dresser used this, that's how I found about it. She doesn't use it any longer, because of this issue that you all haven't corrected.

Disappointed and done

Sopping wet, gooey mess!
Something has changed here. The last two cans were unusable, with the spray being so strong, with so much volume, that my hair is sopping wet, drying to a rubbery goo finish. I originally thought it was a fluke, but after buying a new can from a different retailer, and having the same experience, this seems to be a change, not a fluke. I'm not sure where your Q/A is,, but this product is unacceptable.

Ugh!
Same as everyone else posting reviews. Have used Lock It Weather Control Hairspray for years for my fine limp hair to hold any kind of curl. But the last several cans I have purchased have been terrible - and it's not cheap! Either the aerosol pressurization is different. Don't know what ya'll did - but stop doing that! Change it back!

I have been buying this hair spray on a regular basis for years. But with the formula change, it is now the worst hair spray ever. My hair is wet, sticky and heavy feeling. I will not be buying it anymore. You need to change the formula back to what it was. Your online description of the ingredients says it is water free. That is not true now. Why did you mess with a great product? I have used this for years and had a subscription to it on Amazon. The last two I received were big wet droplets coming out which caused my hair to go limp from the weight of the product. If I could of given ZERO stars out of 5 I would have. I agree with the last few reviews. I've been using the weather anti frizz control spray for the last 10 years but these last 2 cans I purchased are a total waste of money. It's like spraying sticky water on my hair and my bathroom is a sticky mess because of it. If you were trying to improve this product I say it's a fail. Hopefully I can find my receipts and return for a refund.

Bought this spray for years but you must have changed the formula?? It is sticky and Gummy and sprays out like a fog. Very disappointed ...won't buy again.

The sprayer causes my hair to be wet and droopy.
What have you done to my hair spray! I've used this product for years and always happy with it. The last 4 cans I've purchased have been horrible. What did you change? Did you change the sprayer? Now the product comes out like water. It spits. There's no fine mist like before. Please fix this!!
