I bought this 2 weeks ago now and love it. I have used double sided mascara before but this one is the best. I found with the others they looked clumpy at the end of the lashes but i dont get that at all with this one. It makes my lashes look so long. I dont normally buy the same mascara after I've finished with it but i will definitely be keeping this one as my go to.

I bought this last week when my store was out of the red and white beauty tubes double extend mascara I love. The description seemed similar so I bought it. Total failure. By days end I'm smudged and have dark residue all under my eyes. Mascara is all I wear so I know that's what is causing it. Would NOT recommend. Will now have to spend double and get my other at another store.

Worst L'Oreal mascara ever!

I can't believe L'Oreal was sell a mascara so horrible especially after knowing about its quality. I've always used L'Oreal mascaras and decided to give this one a try. The primer itself does not work as well as some of their other primers which was fine an extra coat will help. What I can't believe is how horrible it smudges and runs. And for any reason your eye water is the least little bit and you touch it with your finger this mascara rubs off in a sopping mess on your finger and if you blink you can forget it you're going to have raccoon eyes. I have never seen a mascara so horrible and astonished that L'Oreal would sell something of this low quality. I wish I could return it but being L'Oreal I trusted and threw away the receipt!

Bring back the Purple Tube!

I have been using the waterproof purple tube voluminous mascara for years. Loved it! Why was it changed to a white primer?! Awful. It takes so many coats of tube 2 to cover the white primer in tube 1.
After the disappointing results from this new product, I decided to try L'oreal Voluminous Original Waterproof Mascara. That product is even Worse! Clumpy, smudgy and certainly not waterproof.
I will be looking towards another cosmetic company waterproof mascara. So disappointed.

I have been a loyal customer using red and white tube. Saw this wanted to try cause of wand thought it would be the same. It’s not. Smudging bad and makes my eyes water and burn. This new formula is the worst. Iv been wearing L’Oreal’s Voluminous X-Fiber for years which keep in mind it took me years to find the right mascara which I found in the original formula and now it’s discontinued. Welp, I guess I’m discontinuing this company altogether because to be honest, this was the best mascara your company had hands down! If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! I could see adding on to the collection but obviously from the reviews, this new crap IS NOT IT!!!!

Great for long, thick and healthy eyelashes

Just the best mascara! Take your time - your lashes frame your eyes. Experiment - I use two coats of the primer- let semi dry between coats. Then top with two coats of black (semi dry between those too). Truth be told, I use a blow dryer (cool setting - blow upwards) to speed up the time. No flaking or smudging and easy to remove. Thank you L’Oréal!

I have short blonde eyelashes and this mascara makes them long and beautiful! I go out of my way to buy this mascara, I have used it for years. Nothing else comes close! Buy it from a reputable store to make sure you aren’t getting old product that’s been on the shelf too long.

new fav then that went out the door

When I first bought this mascara i loved it! So I assumed hey I will love it again unfortunately the second and third time around i wasn't as pleased. The second one I purchased lasted about 2 weeks before it became dry and clumpy. Okay so I said well maybe this one was defected I went ahead and purchased for the third time big mistake same thing happened again. I am not leaving it open for long and i do close it tight after each use. Please fix this problem

First step product was completely dried out!

Just bought this at Walgreens, and when I opened it to use for the first time, the first part was dried and stuck to the wand. Of course, I threw away the receipt, so I can't return it. This is literally the BEST mascara I've ever used. It's becoming really hard to find, and I'm starting to get worried that I'll have to move on. I love this mascara so much! I put the primer on (then laugh at the way I look for a few seconds), and then immediately put the mascara on. I really like long think lashes and I end up with clumps from other brands. This one has never clumped and never dissapointed!!!!

I had the L’Oreal Voluminous Original mascara with primer and loved it. I wanted to just try something different, but along the same idea with the primer & so I bought the superstar. I just don’t feel like it does anything besides a little bit of color. And it is so hard to wash off!

This is the first time I purchased L'oréal mascara. So I was really excited to use it. Well I noticed a couple bristles loose on the wand, but I actually thought they were my eyelashes. But then every time after that there were more and more falling out bristles. I cannot apply the mascara without several bristles ending up on my eyelashes. Im very disappointed. I don't think I will purchase this product again.

obrushes are on wrong piece. you unscrew the cap and surprisingly the brush is attached to the middle. product works best is black follows very shortly after white so you should unscrew both but now you you 2 open brushes on the same piece and it is not long enoug so it is very awkward to apply without getting mascara or conditioner on you. Hard to turn, twist, apply without making a mess. I expected the brush to be on the end that is removed so you can unscrew both, apply white, put it back in cover, pull out and apply black and put back in cover.

I loved this when it first went on. Then it ended up under my eyes. Again and again. All through the day. Tried it for days and has the same results. Have to throw it away now. What a waste.

Irritates your eyes smears within 2 to 3 hours of wearing it. This is very poor quality take it off the shelf I have used your mascara the dual extender the red and white never had a problem no irritation no smearing. Your superstar mascara is the worst product I have ever bought from L’Oreal take it off the shelf.

Consistency just not for me!

I recently purchased this with the hopes of having to only apply one or two coats after using the primer to get a nice natural look. The primer is great! Unfortunately, the consistency of the mascara itself just doesn’t work for me. I find that within a couple of hours, I have little black bags of makeup underneath my eyes, and my lashes look clumpy and just not good! Definitely will not purchase this combo product again.

A Favorite Mascara

Some years ago I used a similar mascara that I am sure was a L'Oreal product, and then it was not being made anymore. I really missed it. The only thing close I evere found in drug stores was Voluminous (Original). Finally it is back and I really like it a lot! I don't know why that extra primer works so well, but for me it does. My lashes are fuller and longer. I just wish it lasted a little longer. The length does not stay more than a few hours. It comes off fairly easily.
