Colour Riche Les Nus by Colour Riche Intense Nude Lipstick

I’m a lipstick connoisseur. I own over 30 lipsticks, mostly high end brands like Chanel, YSL, Dior, etc…. I know my lipstick because it’s the only makeup that I wear as I’m mostly a skincare fanatic, not into other makeup, nothing as I don’t even wear concealer or foundation. This Loreal lipstick formulation, with argan oil, has found a regular, permanent spot in my lipstick rotation among other more costly, high end brands. It is that good. I hope Loreal never discontinue this line. The colors that I use in this line are Lovely Red (186) and Nu Irreverent (176). I love these colors so much that I keep each in my gym bag, purse, backpack, and at work. Why is this lipstick great? First, the pigmentation is intensely rich. The color glides on smoothly without unevenness. Second, the texture is not not sticky or waxy unlike most drugstore brands. It has a light texture that’s not drying due to the argan oil. Longevity is fantastic yet non-drying several hours into wear. Nu Irreverent (176) is a holy grail nude lipstick in my opinion. It is a brightening nude color that works well in every skin tone. I would describe the color as a bright sienna with a tinge of neutral pink. This is a perfect nude lipstick for those who want a nude lipstick that doesn’t blend the lips into the skin, but give the face a brightening pop. Lovely Red (186) is the perfect red for those who aren’t into cool, blue-based red lipsticks. It’s definitely a warm, vibrant red. I wear it smudged over lip butter for sheer look, or by itself. This is a versatile red that doesn’t clash with other colors, it turns into a neutral red on different skin tones. Bravo to Loreal for making an affordable lipstick that is comparable to more high end brands.

The scent was so strong it made me nauseous and I had to throw it out. Loved the color and am not bothered by other lipsticks by this brand or their scents. But could not do this one.
