HOW TO USE

1. Tilt the powder case and lightly tap to cause powder to fall into the lid.

How to Set Makeup | How to Use L’Oréal Infallible Setting Spray & Powder for All Day Wear

Hi everyone. My name is Lisa Jauregui and today I’m going to show you how to get transfer-proof makeup that truly lasts all day and looks flawless using all products from L’Oréal Paris. Let’s get started. So in today’s video, we’re going to be talking about two products from L’Oréal Paris and these two products are the finishing touches to every makeup application. They are going to perfect the finish of your makeup, and they’re going to seal and lock that makeup in, so your makeup looks fresh and beautiful and flawless all day long. And transfer-proof. We spend so much time on our makeup, we want it to stay, we want it to look fresh. I know I don't want to be looking in the mirror every few hours, seeing if I need to touch up or what's faded. These two products are a game changer. So as you can see, I have a full face of makeup. So the first product they’re going to be talking about today, is the L'Oréal Paris, the Infallible Blur-fection Setting Powder. And I have it in two shades: I have it in a pink shade, which is really great for brightening, and then I have it in the translucent shade, which is really great for blurring. The pink shade is also going to blur and smooth out texture, but if you want a little extra brightness to your skin and color correction, this one is the way to go. If you want to just kind of smooth out and set the makeup and blur everything, but you don't want any added brightness, the translucent is the way to go. So I’m going to be going in with the pink. And as you can see I have a full face of makeup applied, I've applied all of my makeup. This is kind of the second to last step in my application. I'm just going to take the powder and I'm just going to kind of disperse a little bit of this powder into the lid. So as you can see, I have a good amount of product in the lid. This is a long wearing, up to 24 hour wear loose powder that blurs the skin. It makes your makeup transfer-proof. It's also flashback resistant and there is no talc in this product. It's a really fine, beautiful powder and because I'm using the pink one, I'm actually going to use this to kind of set underneath the eyes and in the center of the face, just to brighten the center of the face and just give a really beautiful, bright effect to the skin. You can see that I have a little bit of shine here in the forehead. I'm also going to cut that down, and I'm just using a flat powder brush. I'm going to load my brush up with product, and then I'm going to tap off any excess. With powder, I always like to kind of build and start light and add more if needed. So I'm going to start in the forehead, I'm just going to kind of press this in the center of the forehead. You can instantly see that that shine is cut down and I have a really smooth, kind of airbrushed effect on the skin. And I'll load my brush up a little more, tap off any excess, and we're going to go right underneath the eye. I love to apply pink powder underneath the eye to really softly brighten underneath that eye, kind of color correct any darkness that you might have, and also smooth out any texture underneath the eye. Underneath the eye I have really fine, delicate little lines. So this powder is going to help soften and smooth out the appearance of that texture. It really just gives a very filtered-like effect. As you apply it you can see the texture kind of softening and disappearing. It's pretty incredible. So I'm going to just apply this where is needed, which for me is underneath the eyes, the center of the face, around the nose. And I also like to apply a little bit on the chin, but you can apply this powder all over. As you can see, I'm doing it after I've applied a full face of makeup, but you also can apply this immediately after foundation and concealer and then go in with your blush and bronzer. This is kind of that last step for me, just to set everything, blur everything. It's that final little step for me to finish off my makeup. I love that this is flashback resistant, so when you take a photo with flash photography, there's not going to be that flashback where your face looks like it's a lighter color than the rest of your body. You'll look very natural. So pretty. I also love how fine this powder is, it's very fine and very lightweight. So the Infallible Blur-Fection Setting Powder is a great last step to set foundation, set concealer, set the makeup, so you have a transfer-proof, blurred smooth effect. Now I'm going to go in with the setting spray. This is the Infallible 3-Second Setting Mist, and I have never seen a product like this before, you guys. This product ensures that your makeup is transfer-proof, sweat-proof, seals it in all day for up to, get this, 36 hours. It's extremely lightweight, it's a very micro fine formula and you guys will see it as I spray it on my skin. You're barely going to see it. It's so light, it just disperses over the face so evenly. You just want to spray for a few seconds and let it dry. And I like to go in circular motions. Kind of let it dry. It's actually going to give a healthy glow like finish to the skin. Unlike other setting sprays that have this longevity, this actually gives the skin a little bit of a glow. Do you see how it just kind of gives the skin a subtle glow? But even though you have a little bit of glow, it is completely transfer-proof. Let's do the tissue test. I have a clean white tissue here. Look at this completely clean. There is no evidence of any makeup. You don't see my foundation on here, you don't see my blush, you don't see my bronzer. Completely transfer-proof. And there you have it. Fresh All-Day Glow on Melanin Skin

Brightening and Blurring Perfection

This setting powder has quickly become one of my new favorites. I was worried it would look ashy and wouldn’t blend well on dark skin but it does the opposite. The soft pink tone gives such a beautiful brightening effect without looking chalky, and it really smooths out my skin for that blurred, airbrushed finish. It definitely provides a matte finish and smoothing effect. I’ve worn it on long days and it holds up so well, even in heat and humidity. No flashback in photos either, which is a huge win. It feels lightweight but still makes a big difference in how polished my makeup looks. I’ll definitely keep this in my routine!

Pleasantly Surprised!

I was very pleasantly surprised using this powder. I usually go for a yellow color (banana shade), but this was absolutely beautiful on my skin. It made me look very glowy without a flashback when taking pictures, and it blurred my skin like a filter! The only thing I didn't love was the packaging. It's very basic and not the easiest to get the product out. Other than that, I love it, and I would repurchase!

Good setting powder

I was concerned that this setting powder would look ashy on my deep dark skin (with a neutral undertone), but I was pleasantly surprised that it blended well and gave my skin a pretty finish. My pores looked blurred and my usually oily T zone remained matte. The reason I did not give it for stars is I found it incredibly difficult to shake the powder out of the holes. The holes are so tiny and even shaking it hard only a small amount came out.

This is an outstanding product. I was a little scared that the pink color of the powder was going to through the color of my makeup off. But, I was pleasantly surprised. The texture of the powder is finely milled and light allowing it to set/bake very well. This setting powder blurs perfectly. It does live up to the hype. I really like this powder and would highly recommend it.

Loose Powder

This pink powder helped with setting and oil control. As someone who is darker skinned with red undertones the hue made me look ashy/ pale. The packaging and holes helps control excess powder from being lost but makes it a bit difficult to release the product. The scent is powdery not too strong.

this stuff lowkey snapped. the pink tint really does give that brightening effect without looking ashy or chalky. i pressed it into my undereyes and around my mouth and it smoothed everything out like a soft-focus filter. no flashback, no weird texture. just blurred, lifted, and fresh all day. also holds up so well in heat and humidity. it’s giving luxury but at drugstore price. 🩷

I absolutely loveee this loose powder!!! Blur effect on 1000. No flash black, full coverage and light weight. In order to get the full effect, I would make sure you have a good skin prep routine. I really enjoyed this setting powder. It has a great matte finish and did excellent job at blurring and giving the skin a nice smooth finish. I was skeptical about the pink tone on my darker complexion but it worked surprisingly well. My skin is normal to oily and can get oilier during hot humid summer days. This was able to keep my makeup matte longer than many of the other popular drugstore formulas. My only wish is that the packaging was bigger.

It doesn’t come with an applicator which I didn’t like and the wholes to get the powder out kept getting clogged so I had to really tap it to get the powder out. I like how it give a natural pop of color. On my skin it didn’t look like I was obviously wearing makeup. So natural looking. Easy to apply.

This powder has a lovely blurring effect and feels lightweight on the skin. However, it came off a bit ashy on my complexion and caused flashback in photos. Great for blurring, but it didn’t play well with flash or deeper skin tones.

The texture is very light and rubs in very smoothly. It has no strong scent it actually has no scent at all which is good. The coverage is amazing and is very pink. The packaging is pretty convenient I love that it has holes for the powder to shake out to avoid spilling the whole container.

I applied this powder over my concealer and I was amazed how much brighter my undereye area looked! It's very smooth and blendable. It's not cakey at all. It reminds me of Huda's Easy Bake Powder but cheaper. It's talc-free so it's not heavy. I, also, have an issue with large pores on my nose and cheeks and this powder really did blur them to wheee they were less noticeable. Overall, it's a great powder and it's reasonably priced.

Perfect Blur for undereyes

I Love this setting powder because it blurs and brightens my under eye perfectly. It’s so light weight and applies so smoothly. It works great with my other makeup products giving me a flawless finish every time. It has no scent which is great if your scent sensitive. The powder is packed well and stays intact after use. I have sensitive skin and have not got any skin issues from using it. Love and highly recommend it.

OMG! This is an amazing blurring power! I was sent 2 different shades and i decided to use the darker one. It immediately cancels out shine and refreshes tired makeup worn all day. This is a great compact, non messy product to keep handy in your bag, in the car, or on the go. I would definitely recommend using this especially at Coachella and other music festivals so that you can be camera ready at any time!

Props to the L’Oreal brand for producing a product that is talc-free with a smooth finish. It doesn’t have a scent which is a nice feature. Packaging is pretty standard. All powders are a little messy, this one is average. Really great blurring effect for the skin and great coverage. Not loving the pink tint at all with my olive tone skin and medium shade foundation. Would work well for someone with a little bit of a pink undertone, but personally just did not love it for me

I’ve been using the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Blur Faction, and I love how it smooths out my skin while feeling super lightweight. It gives a soft-matte finish that blurs pores and fine lines, but I do notice it oxidizes a bit, so picking the right shade is important. Great as a blush alternative!

I am so happy to have received this product to try! I have combination skin. The parts of my skin that are oily are extremely oily, while the parts that are dry are very dry and flaky. Needless to say, face products always get a run for their money. The package was like all of your average drug store products. There is zero scent, which I really appreciate from a face product. I received the color in Pink, which has proven to be perfect to use as a blush alternative. I get several good hours before my skin starts to feel oily, so I just reapply as needed. The finish helps my skin look smooth and matte and keeps the shine away for a good amount of time.

Sleek packaging, it’s not messy. Finish is nice & soft, doesn’t make me look textured. Great setting powder over BLUSH, not under the eyes. That’s why I took off one star. It’s a pigmented pink. You can’t use this anywhere else besides cheeks.

Brightens and looks great especially under the eye

I received two shades of the powder and the darker one was more suited for my skin tone. Photos show the packaging and how they look on my hand. Pink is a brightening shade and it works great at a finishing powder to blur fine lines. In my photos, the eye on the right has a light dust of the powder and the eye on the left does not. You can see it helps with my darker under eye areas a lot. The powder wears well and doesn’t get shiny. It’s very finely milled and I like that the container doesn’t dispense out too much. I can use it with a puff or brush depending on how I’m using it, but I do prefer the puff.

I was worried it would look ashy and wouldn’t blend well on dark skin but it does the opposite. The soft pink tone gives such a beautiful brightening effect without looking chalky, and it really smooths out my skin for that blurred, airbrushed finish. It definitely provides a matte finish and smoothing effect. I’ve worn it on long days and it holds up so well, even in heat and humidity. No flashback in photos either, which is a huge win. It feels lightweight but still makes a big difference in how polished my makeup looks. I’ll definitely keep this in my routine!

I usually go for a yellow color (banana shade), but this was absolutely beautiful on my skin. It made me look very glowy without a flashback when taking pictures, and it blurred my skin like a filter! The only thing I didn't love was the packaging. It's very basic and not the easiest to get the product out. Other than that, I love it, and I would repurchase!

My pores looked blurred and my usually oily T zone remained matte. The reason I did not give it for stars is I found it incredibly difficult to shake the powder out of the holes. The holes are so tiny and even shaking it hard only a small amount came out.

It's not cakey at all. It reminds me of Huda's Easy Bake Powder but cheaper. It's talc-free so it's not heavy. I, also, have an issue with large pores on my nose and cheeks and this powder really did blur them to wheee they were less noticeable. Overall, it's a great powder and it's reasonably priced.

Does face quickly so Calm down you fragrance haters. The finish is very smooth and helps mate and lock in my makeup. The colors are uber different so choose accordingly, 10 light pink is not flattering for my medium tan skin but 05 medium tan pink is the right color. Does look the same until you hold it in different light or apply it. Gives a lit from within glow without glitter which as an adult, I love. Other “lit from within powders” have me looking like a Twilight vampire in the sun, not cute and probably not Good for skin or the environment. For reference I am a 3W1 (tawny) in Estée Lauder, 12O in makeup by Mario and 40MN in Prada. I wouldn’t say this “blurred” my large pores BUT it did not accentuate them like other powders. It did help lock in my foundation and make it last for hours. My favorite powder is Laura Murcier but it’s gotten so freaking expensive. If this was a completely translucent colorless powder I would say it’s a dupe. I do like the pinkish color as I feel It did brighten my face and made me feel like I looked “fresh”. It’s a pinkie hue so it’s probably more friendly to flash photos. I like to dust it on with a large powder brush and I love that the pan is large and swallow enough to swirl in the lid or pan. Great job L’Oréal.

I tried this loose setting powder, and I find it to be quite lightweight, which is great, and it did help with reducing shine and setting my makeup without leaving any creasing. I liked the matte finish without my face looking dry or looking like I dunked my face in a bowl of talcum powder. I initially wasn't sure about the pinkish shades with my skintone, but it worked. I can't comment on the claims of up to 24hours blurring and brightening, but i can say it did keep my makeup looking fresh for most of the night on my evening around town. If I was nitpicking , my only gripe would be that the holes are a little too small, just slightly bigger would be great. Packaging is good and can fit the container in my purse if needed . All in all , it's pretty much delivered in my expectations of a L'oreal product, and I will look into other shades in this product line.
