For the past 10 years, the Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream in Fair/Pale was my favorite daily product. It was lightweight, highly moisturizing, fragrance-free, and gave a natural, even skin tone without settling into fine lines. It felt like skincare, not makeup, and was perfect for my very pale complexion. I was disappointed to see it discontinued. The current lightest shade is too dark and orange for me. I have tried several replacements but haven’t found one that matches the original’s lightweight feel and performance. I hope L’Oréal will bring back the Magic BB Cream in Fair/Pale or create a similar lightweight, moisturizing, fragrance-free option in true pale/cool tones. Many fair-skinned customers would be very happy to have it back. Thank you.

It was a perfect product until you stopped making

I'm here to add another plea to bring back Fair! I've been using it happily for over a decade and don't understand why you discontinued it. It was perfect for us pale people who are so often overlooked in skin tints. And no I don't want to try the other product you recommend. My skin is sensitive and I don't like trying new things that might cause a reaction plus another review already said it was too orange. Tell your development team to stop the pale people discrimination and bring back Fair, it's the fair thing to do!!

Giving 1 star bc fair was discontinued. You removed it bc of the shade name with the goal of making skincare more inclusive but all you did was exclude an already excluded skin tone. And then use "fair" as a skin tone option on this literal review. What a joke. Dark complexions and very pale complexions already struggle to find shades that match...the next shade is darker by MULTIPLE shades. Im irritated i wasted my money, I had no interest of looking like I was channeling my inner y2k with maybelline dream matte mousse. I even bought the lumi priduct that Loreal recommends as a replacement, still too orange and more money wasted. Im no longer buying this brand for anything, you lost a customer whose been loyal for well over 5 years for multiple products.

Please please please bring back the fair shade. It has been my go-to for so long, I've tried everything else and nothing comes close. Light is wayyyy to orange for my Scandinavian complexion. I've tried so many alternatives from all kinds of brands and I'd rather go without anything at this point. Please, I beg you, formulation, tint, weight,... this was just perfect.

Light Shade Won't Work

Please bring back Fair!! Just admit you made a mistake. It's obvious by all the reviews and comments across multiple seller websites that Light is not a good substitute. I also don't like the suggestion to try another of your products instead. I already found what I want - this BB Cream - and I don't want to start trying products all over again.

Did the formula for BB Deep get changed? I wore it for many years and bought two tubes only to find it now gives "instant tan" to olive colored skin. I now need to mix deep and medium, which is too light leaving me with a hit and miss combination.

I am profoundly disappointment with its discontinuation. This product was perfect for my very fair, pale skin. It was lightweight, highly moisturizing, and fragrance free. It provided just enough coverage to even out my skin tone without feeling like I was wearing makeup. Most importantly, it did not settle into my fine lines, unlike many other tinted products. It truly felt like skincare rather than makeup and is something I have struggled to replace. The current lightest shade (“Light”) is far too dark and orange toned for my complexion, making it unusable. I have tried several suggested replacements to no avail. It is disheartening to see L’Oréal move away from offering suitable options for pale skinned customers. Many long time users like me feel overlooked and disregarded after years of brand loyalty. I kindly urge you to bring back the Magic BB Cream in the Fair/Pale shade or develop a comparable lightweight, moisturizing, fragrance-free tinted moisturizer/BB cream in true pale/cool tones. There is clear demand from fair skinned customers who have relied on this exact product for years.

I tried this last year and I love it. I put my serum on add this to it and then top off with a bit of powder and I love it. The Light should be labeled Tan and the Fair you discontinued should have been labeled Natural not Fair. I am not the only one that is upset we can no longer get our Fair (Natural not Orange Tan shade.) Poor marketing and my skin is not even fair pale. The lighter shade that you discontinued was the perfect base before you added blush, eye shadow or any contouring. I have had nothing but skin issues trying to find a replacement. The "light" shade is so dark and orange! I look like I have fake tanner on. The product also seems to sit on top of my skin, more like a foundation. It doesn't absorb at all or look anything like natural skin. It was $14.99 at CVS and not worth a penny.

From what I understand, they discontinued it because many companies are getting rid of the word "fair". I get the need for a change in terminology but to completely remove one of the most popular products in the line? Absurd. Bring back the formula you used for "fair" and just call it something else.

The shade light is orange, which is not a shade for anyone. I’ve used the shade fair since 2018. Now idk what to use and same thing have been looking all over for something else and nothing works the same for my skin or feels too heavy. L’Oréal you really let me down :(

Why would you discontinue a product shade that so many people need. I have wasted money on trying the light color which looks orange on fair skin. Fair skin people have a really hard time finding colors that work and this one was perfect. Now we have to switch brands and start the search over again. It took me years to find a color match . I have never found a foundation/cream that I liked better. However, I couldn't find the Fair shade in any stores and just learned it is no longer being produced. PLEASE bring this shade back. The light shade is fine in the summer when I have a tan, but it makes my normal skin look orange. I don't understand why a product that is popular would be discontinued. I really hope this company decides to make this shade again for those with neutral or cool skin tones.

Did the formula for BB Deep get changed? I wore it for many years and bought two tubes only to find it now gives "instant tan" to olive colored skin. I now need to mix deep and medium, which is too light leaving me with a hit and miss combination.

What color would work best for me; Haus Labs 230 foundation (Light Medium Cool) is like a perfect match for my skin tone.

Can i bring this through tsa carry on bag?

Does it contain sunscreen / spf factor?

Does this come out white and then change colors? I bought medium and put alittle on my finger and it was white lotion looking so I figured there must be something wrong with it.

How long after opening does this expire?
