My hair is very poor and it takes a lot of damage from going to such a light color . The photos go clockwise before using the L'Oreal shine, protect ultra. This conditioner is as good as the conditioner that comes in at home hair dye boxes. One of the things about the L'Oreal shine protect ultra is that there's plenty of product in the tube. The smell is pleasant and not overwhelming. I did not use a hairdryer or any form of heat. I just combed out my hair and I definitely can tell there was a difference in the frizz and texture of my damaged hair after just one use . I will definitely use products on this line again.

So when I was told this is the same as box color conditioner, without having to use box color, I was excited to try it. Here are my thoughts, does it melt away knots while it's in the hair? Yes. A huge plus for us curly hair girls that brush our hair in the shower with conditioner in. My issue is, once it's rinsed out, it does little to nothing for the actual condition of the hair. I used this for a few weeks and kept waiting for my hair to feel how I believed it used to feel back in the day when I would box color my hair and use the conditioner. Overall, 4 out of 5 stars because the detangling properties can be hugely beneficial to kids, swimmers and people with curly hair or hair that is prone to knots and tangles.

I was glad to get this as I have dyed my hair off and on and have struggled to find a solid conditioner, especially one that didn’t strip the moisture. Admittedly, most come with more than enough for post-care but it’s nice to not have to rely on that. My first use was a little unorthodox as I just wanted to see how it treated my hair. My dye job had grown out as it’s been a few months. Yet, I was immediately impressed with how soft my hair was after using it. I appreciate how light the scent is and love how touchable it made my hair. That said, it passed the initial test. I then dyed my hair and used the conditioner with it. Yet again, I was impressed. It really adds a nice shine to my hair and makes it sooooo soft. I love that the scent remained light as I actually enjoy the scent of my dye. It has continued to soften my hair and help it be more flexible to my styling. I’ll say too that while the tube is not huge, it doesn’t require much for coverage, so that’s definitely a great value! It’s easy to use and doesn’t take up much space in the shower, truly making it a win all the way around. It might be sad to say but I’ve been excited to condition my hair as a result. After all, it feels nice, softens my hair, and adds great shine without over inflating the volume! It’s a great product and I’m so glad I’ve gotten to try it!

This product is great. It helps keep my color vibrant and gives it an extent high impact of shine. It gives a good result after I dried my hair. It makes my hair smoother and shiny but after using it for the 3rd times, it didn't really give the same result as the 1st and the 2nd time used, not sure why but it still worth to try though.

It was nice and thick but not so much that it didn’t absorb into my hair. I was able to use less than I thought to cover my whole head, too! The split ends on my hair definitely look better after use and my hair is much shinier and easy to brush. The smell is also fantastic, even my boyfriend noticed and commented on it!

It's good to protect colors and optimize shine, so most likely good for the coloring hair only. I can say it's effective. I like the big version, finally it can be used for a longer time. I like the smell of it, easy application and a short time of waiting. After applying you just need 2-3 minutes and then you can rinse the product. No need to wait for a long time. It gives a really nice shine to the hair, my hair becomes soft and velvet. The only problem for my hair is that this product is a little bit too heavy for them and they become greasy and weightless after 3 days of application. I still will use it for a week or two after coloring my hair but then I will switch to a different conditioner.

From getting the perfect Parisian cut and color that takes 5 hours to perfect for London cool girl. When I received the Ultra care conditioner I was about 2 weeks after my color service. During that time I have used weekly and adjusting to get the right amount for application- a little goes a long way. I have felt my color stay true longer and moisturized without feeling greasy. Today I washed my hair for the first time after my color service. My hair feels fantastic. I have used the right amount and worked from mids to ends detangling my long hair. The slight lather coated my hair well and the scent was divine. This is a must in my hair routine!
