Step by Step Tutorial

• Step 1

  After the patch test, start with dry, unwashed hair

• Step 2

  Prep for your color process by draping a dark towel over your shoulders, making sure you have adequate lighting and access to a mirror

• Step 3

  Divide your hair into 4 quadrants

• Step 4

  Unbox your hair Color kit

• Step 5

  Apply a small amount of the conditioner as a barrier cream along your hair line

• Step 6

  With gloved hands, uncap and mix your entire crème formula into the developer and shake well

• Step 7

  In quarter inch sections, apply to roots first. Use half of the bottle on your roots and save the other half for your lengths. Massage in the formula into your roots.

• Step 8

  Part sections with nozzle tip and repeat

• Step 9

  Work the formula through entire length of hairs

• Step 10

  Leave formula in your hair for the full 30 minutes or time noted on the instructions

• Step 11

  Wash hair in shower until the water runs clear using the provided shampoo and conditioner
