This is a waste of money. I’ve used it 3 times exactly as directed and I look blotchy and streaky. The old formula was great. This is straight up crap. Stop selling this crap to people. It doesn’t work! I would apply the old formula once and it achieved great results. This crap just washes off. This is false advertising. L’Oreal is just stealing peoples money with this product and wasting our time. Will never buy again! And why do you put this sparkly glitter in it? It washes off anyway. Dumb

I apply this straight after the shower every Sunday, weds, and fri..sometimes I skip Friday if my coverage looks great. My friends always complement how beautiful my skin color is. They also say I must be going to a tanning bed during the winter as well as the lotion and I laugh at them praising this lotion. The key is to continue an every other day application and I stays beautiful and natural looking. This lotion is all you need. You will need nothing else.

Blotchy & Patchy Coverage
Would give less than one whole star if possible. Blotchy & patchy. Uneven tone after 3 tries & using suggested moisturizing. Waste of money. Was not able to attach images with this review. I am not an ‘influencer’ trying to get paid for posting false positive reviews.

Great tan and misquote repellent as well!
Great tanning product and did you know loreal sublime bronze self tanning lotion acts as a misquote repellent as well? I use it solely for this reason most of the time. It really works! There must be an ingredient within the lotion component that does this.

Do nit like the glitter effect.
This is nothing like the old Tanner. It says new formula but is nothing like the old one and now I’m having trouble finding anything similar to the gelee. I’m my opinion the gelee was the best and easiest tanner on the market and my friends agree with that too. Such a shame that all great things have to change.

My absolute new favorite !!
I found this product because I was searching for something less expensive than another product I was currently using, that I was purchasing on-line. Its very hard to find a self tanner that doesn't streak. I LOVE this product!! At a third of the cost of what I had been using, it goes on easy and smooth. When rubbed in completely it leaves no streaking and drys fast! I always exfoliate before use and it works great!! Last longer than what I was using too and no strong odor!

Don't fall for the 'New Look-Same Formula'
The bottle says New Look - Same Formula. Not even close! I love the original and am now having a hard time finding it. This was a pain to apply (dried TOO quickly), streaked horribly and washed off quickly.

Gives a great glowy contoured look
I love this product for a glowy contoured look. I don't use this for tanning. Also, it helps set the makeup and is non-greasy. The product will last me a lifetime since I don't use this for tanning lol. A little amount gives a nice shimmery bronzed look.

It's quick-drying, goes on & blends out really easily & evenly, and gives my skin this really beautiful caramelized warm look. A quick heads up, it is much more of a bronzer than a tanner, i.e., it goes orange & looks better atop olive-y tans vs paler skin. Gorgeous overall, though.

This is the best stuff ever!
It’s a great moisturizer too, it gives my skin the most natural color ever! I have used many sunless tanning lotion for many years. This one is my absolute favorite. I was surprised to see others didn’t fall in love with it as much as I am.

I went to the store yo buy my normal tan product.
I bought this because the store didn't have the tanner I was looking for. So I bought Sublime Bronze. I was pleasantly surprised how great the product worked. I'm a medium brown black woman with very light legs. This product gave me beautiful rich color and surprising coverage. I love the gradual color it produced as well. Finally a product that works for me.

Nice even tones
I am very fair, so I never apply too much self tanning products. Sometimes one application is good for days. I've been using L'oreal Sublime Bronze for a few years. The color is bronzy a few hours after applying. I like that it doesn't have a lot of glitter.
Cons: Runny and sticky after applying.

Thin as water!
I just bought this and used for first time this morning. I was expecting a lotion consistency, but this just poured out like water. Very hard to apply colored water without it running everywhere. I’m so disappointed.

Sticky Mess
I bought this because I have been trying out new self tanning products and this one has been the worst so far. It dries incredibly fast and leaves streaks and splotches all over. Also even when it dries I still feel sticky. The product says “luminous” but it is actually caked full of glitter that makes my skin look even worse. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Subtle and Natural
I received this product for free for reviewing purposes from Influenster. I tried this about 4 hours ago, I have an amazing believable bronze tone to my skin. It is very subtle, but I think the effect can be built up with more layers. This makes your skin noticable more hydrated and pleasant to the touch. The cocnut smell is also amazing; however if you are a person who is sensitive to smells it may be overpowering. Overall this product creates an enjoyable application experience, but may have to be layered for a more dramatic effect. I am going to purchase this product for myself in the future.

Fantastic
I have used many products to give my face a healthy glow and subtle color over the years, and this one is the best. It gives some instant color with the bronzer, and the little microscopic sparkles give a boost. I never feel like I have an artificial color and it just looks natural

Favorite tanner by far
I’ve only used drug store tanners, but with a mitt this applies like a dream. I love the sparkles that it leaves and how quick my color shows. I am naturally super pale and I look as tan as my friends who use beds.

Did it wrong but got good results
I bought this last year when I had a sunburn I was trying to cover (bad idea I know) and I totally forgot about it until yesterday. I’ve applied it 4 times since I found it and even after the first use I am a bronze goddess. I know they say not to use it with any otherness product but I used Palmer’s with it (mixed them together) and I got instant results. I am currently 5 shades darker than I was yesterday and it looks natural. It doesn’t dry immediately which is good when you consider you have time to move it around before it dries and it decreases streaks. I love this stuff. I can’t wait to put some sun over it so I’ll be even darker.

GREAT LOVE IT!!
I have used many self tanners over the years and paid for them (the expensive stuff) recently I was at my sisters out of state and couldn't find what I used and read a few reviews on the Sublime Bronze and went to the store and purchased. That was 3 months ago and I am still using it and saving money as well. It has the most in depth color and it is easy to apply, yes it does take a while to dry but the results are worth it.. Thank you so much for making this product affordable and so good.

While it's challenging finding this specific product (Instant Action), my pale legs do well with it's light shimmer, easy application, and natural color. I never feel that I look orange or too tanned...I'm fair skinned and freckled.

Washed off in water after first day
I loved it after the 1st application until I hopped in the shower 8 hours later and it rinsed off with just water. The water was brown. Now its barely, if at all, noticable. I will keep at it but I may need multiple applications for it to be noticeable... this is saying a lot because I'm a very fair skinned red head. Why did it all rinse right off?

Works on sensitive skin
I have used this product a few weeks now on my very white, sensitive skin. This product leaves a nature looking tan, minus the glitter, also.. it has not made me break out like multiple other products.
I don't like the sticky feel or how long it takes to dry. Compared to the mist, this leaves a better color but the mist dries faster.

I bought this because Walmart didn't carry my favorite bronzer Banna Boats deep dark lotion. It hasn't dried yet but so far I don't like this at all. Instead of a lotion feeling smooth and moisturized I feel sticky and it isn't really glittery. I like that it is tinted upon application but it is very thin and hard to distribute. If you want a good bronzer use Banna Boat deep dark the medium/light looks more orange.

By far the best out there!!!
I've tried every sunless tanner under the sun (<--- Haha no pun intended) anyways yeah this is THE BEST by far!!! Even compared to expensive brands I've bought at Sephora. Not only does it give A beautiful natural looking tan it also leaves a subtle sparkle and glow to your skin. I just wish it were easier to find, a lot of stores don't carry it out here :(

i have been a constant consumer of the loreal self tanning products for many years. I have recommended them to numerous friends/colleagues-even purchased one for a girl who worked at a tan salon, as she loved my tan! although I have tried the most recent ones, my VERY fav is still the SUBLIME luminous bronzer and esp. the SUBLIME bronze Tinted Self-Tanning Lotion!

Just bought this product today and I love it so far. I have never used a self-tanner before and this one has been a great experience so far. I love the shimmer and I don't think it's too overwhelming like some reviews have stated. I love the smell and I also love the results so far. I am looking forward to using this product in between tanning sessions and getting out on the sun.

Goes on very smooth. The lotion isn't sticky like others I've tried and it dries quickly. It had a pleasant scent but the biggest downfall for me is that it had too much shimmer in it. I'm not a fan of sparkles especially because I used this on my face as well. It also left a couple streaks.

I love this product! It smells fresh and leaves my skin sun kissed! I recommend having a base tan before using any sunless tanner or bronzer..I don't understand why anyone would have a problem with the shimmer..it looks gorgeous on tanned skin. Nothing is sexier than being healthy, glowing, and tanned!

I started buying this last year, and I hated the sparkles, the sticky, and the unevenness. It was bad. I found quickly, however, that if you leave it on for about two hours and then shower, it gives an amazingly real looking tan. TWO HOuRS. I would never leave it on longer. It's an amazing product if you find a way to use it that works for your skin.

I used this product for the first time yesterday. The color turned out well for me and I'm a light skinned person. Though it's a gel for me it went on smoothly. My only complaints are it smells nice going on but once it dries you smell awful. Also you get sticky once it starts drying too. I'll use what I got left of the product but will most likely not purchase again due to the smell it leaves on your skin after drying.

Love this tanner! Smells decent and with a mitt (got one at Walmart for 4 bucks) it went on streak-free! I'm not crazy about the shimmer, but I usually put it on before bed and shower in the morning so the glitter goes away but the color stays! Great product for the price.

When this says "luminous," it really means "sparkly."
I've used this product once and immediately washed it off once I noticed the shimmer in it. It is not subtle and would only be appropriate for a night dancing in a very dark club.
Needless to say, I won't be purchasing or using this product again unless I decide to dress as Snooky for Halloween.

LOVE IT!!! After reading reviews I was nervous, and always had bad results with self tanners, but this is awesome! I can't believe people complained about the shimmer, they way they talked I expected huge chunks of glitter, this is just a shimmer which I love but if you don't, it comes off in the shower. And what were they talking about being sticky?? It's not even a little bit sticky! Use thinner coats to begin with, it dried very quickly! Also the color is actually brown!!! No hints of orange or yellow whatsoever!!!! You will be so I happy! Also buy a cheap box of gloves from local pharmacy, snug fitting ones to apply product, much happier hands!

I just love this sublime bronzer, I came back from Key West with a Tan and a week later it was gone but with this I can look like I have a tan all the time. My sisters thought I was going to the tanner, until I told them it was from loreal. It is also streak free which I like.

The BEST !
I've used alot of bronzers and tanners and this by fair is the most clean, non-streaky, quick and natural. It does come off (a little bit) when you shower, but not all. You can maintain the tan, if you use ever couple days. Nice product.

Beautiful natural looking tan
I am VERY fair skinned, and I turn out looking perfectly golden every time I use this product! I wear tight rubber gloves from the beauty supply store to apply my sunless tan, this way my hands do not look bad. There are many great tutorials on Youtube about applying sunless tanning lotions. I found them helpful, and they have helped me make the most out of my Loreal product. As long as you follow the instructions on the bottle, and be sure to apply it evenly, I assure you will be streak free!

Did not care for this at all
My daughter and I did not care for this product at all. We have been using sunless products for years and have had very sucessfufl results. The store was out of our usual brand, so we tried the Sublime bronzer. It's more of a gel than a lotion. I took my my time and applied correctly as I usually do. It left my skin extreamly tacky feeling whick I couldn't stand and even with extra care I ended up with streaks. Stick with the lotion type sunless tanner/bronzers. They work and feel much better.

Lasts for a LONG time!
I absolutely LOVED this product and have been using it for the past year and a half. The color is not orangey but the only negative thing is that you have to really make sure you apply it evenly otherwise there will be blobs of skin that are darker because the product wasn't evenly distributed. But if you just spend the extra time to apply it evenly then you will have a flawless tan that lasts and lasts! Also, no matter how often you apply it to get a darker color it will look natural. LOVE IT!

what I like about this product is that the color looks great as if I had tanned in the sun. I have had compliments of how tan I look. I love how quickly it dries and makes my skin feel smooth. I use it once a week on my body. I would definetely recommend it to others and have done so. This is a great product!

CAME OFF IN THE POOL!!
I loved this product. You do have to work quickly or it does get sticky. But it looks great and natural. I could not believe at the pool yesterday that the underside of my forearms were turning yellow and splotchy. I will continue to use this product in the months that I am not at the pool everyday.

Blotchy tan lines
I purchased the "Sublime Bronze Luminous Bronzer Self-tanning lotion" hoping to even out my winter skin. I purchased this product in hopes of a gradual glow for my senior prom. I applied the lotion three days before prom so I would have my glow by the time I needed it. I noticed the morning after I applied it my skin was tan in some parts of my body and there was much discolor and blochiness. I looked even worse after I tried this product. I was very disappointed in this product.

Great Self tanner
I have tried many product over the years to give me that healthy sunkissed look early in the spring season and this poduct does just that without leaving streaks and looking fake. I always get compliments and share my secret with those close to me. :) Thank for such a great product. I sometime have trouble finding it.

This is the best self-tanner I have used by far. I love that you can see where you are applying it so it's TRUELY streak-free. I love the glitter, not everyone does but personally I do. Every other self-tanner i've used was a gradual process, this is an instant color, i love it. And it is not orange! It's the most natural looking fake tan ive had.

This was the worst bronzer ever
This was terrible. the product is very sticky. After aplication i had wait for about 4 hours and went to sleep then woke up the next morning to find that i had huge orange bloches all over my body. I will never recommend or use this product again

works like a charm
If you can handle the sparkles and the thick sticky feel of it, you'll end up with a beautiful even tan. I have very pale skin and this product makes me look normal! even on a tan scale. Usually i just put it on before i go to bed and wash it off in the a.m. and have a nice tan and dont have to worry about being sparkly lol. the tan lasts for at least 3-4 days before having to reapply.

Sublime Bronze reminds me of the first self-tanning products to come onto the market. If you want a streaky, orange color use it. If you want a smooth, natural looking tan you better try something else!

Love the instant tan
I use this product year round. It's one of the better self tanners on the market for very fair skin, however, I wish the color would be a more tannish brown versus yellowish orange. I believe the skin type dictates what color the tanning lotion will produce. Are you able to remove the sparkles? Also, do you have a product that will remove some of the darker color around the feet and hands. I'm very careful, but it's nearly impossible to have an even tan around those areas. Thank You!

Splotchy coverage
I love most of this line but the Luminous Bronzer does not work well. Even with good exfoliation and lots (30 minutes) of drying time it still was very patchy and uneven once it dried. I've given this multiple uses/tries with no good results. I'm going back to other products in the line.

It's so so, depends on you and if u like shimmer
I'm orignally olive complexion in the winter. I always use Sumblime Glow Medium which gives me that warm-glow tan look.. I wanted to go darker and bought Sublime Bronze and I wasnt too happy about the glitter in it. I HATE GLITTER. they say immediate radiance, well with all the glitter, Duh'. But it has my complexion looking very deeply tanned . No orange. No streak. Good smell. Natural 'Radiance'...if your fair skinned, start out with medium glow to avoid the orange look, then jump to Bronze.

Fades to splotchy even after applying every day
First time trying this and used as directed. But I noticed that some of the tan had faded and turnedmy legs splotchy so they looked horiblew! I like the Loreal towellettes and should have bought them instead of wasting my moneyon this product. What a disappointment.

I LOVE Sublime Bronze self tanning lotion (the product in the bright orange bottle) so when my local store was sold out of it I decided to try they Luminous Bronzer. I am going to throw it away. It left streaks (which the other product has never done), and made my legs very, very dry. I also did not like going to work with sparkly legs, which was my mistake...after all the product says it is "Luminous". I will go back to the regular Sublime Bronze because it is GREAT.
