A Fire-faced Goddess's Dream Come True!

As someone with a lot of Irish Ancestry, and Cherokee ancestry too, my skin goes red--really, really, really red. Like, hold a ghost pepper up to me--I'll be more red, guaranteed. It gets worse as I age too. I tried this BB cream on a whim one day, about a year ago, this stuff corrects all the redness in my skin! My skin is actually some shade of "nude," after applying this product now!
I can leave the house feeling like a normal human being, and not like "The Fire Queen of The Ancient Realms" from a video game or RPG session any longer! How in the world is this product getting so many 1 star ratings?!? People--do you not realize the product says it's made for getting "red tones" out of the skin?!?
If you don't like it, go buy something else! For those of us with really red skin this stuff really works, and I HOPE and PRAY, to the gods and goddesses of every realm where creatures try to beautify themselves in the hopes of attracting a mate, that L'Oreal NEVER gets rid of this product. **I know they will eventually, because it's inevitable when I find a product that works that suddenly it's gone from all shelves, never to be made again. But I mean it, this stuff works for red skin! Lose the haters. Pease keep making this product. Thank you.

Doesn't stay green :(

I have extremely fair, sensitive skin, which is very prone to redness. Most color correctors are waxy/ sticky and in concealer form, so I was really excited to see a lightweight product that I can apply to my entire face. Unfortunately, this product doesn't stay green - upon application it becomes yellow-toned, and too dark for my complexion. I was also really disappointed in the description - "transforms to a universal shade to reduce the look of redness". Universal? It was too dark for my porcelain skin, and I can't imagine how this would work on dark complexions. There is no universal shade; just an array of beautiful skin tones.

Gives skin a weird tint

This was the first BB cream that I tried and while it mostly covered my mild rosacea, it made my skin a weird orangey-beige color. I switched to a different product when I finished the tube. I wouldn't use this ever again.

New one is horrible

I have used this product for several years and then you changed it. The last tube I bought separates and the oil and color part no matter how much shaking does not go together. The color is terrible and it irritated my skin so badly I had to use a special cream to get rid of the redness. I will not be buying it again

Light weight correction

I did not feel the need to apply foundation over product and instead used a loose translucent powder over the face. In the summer this will enable me not to have to apply layered products and risk melting layer fallout.

WHYYYYYY DID YOU CHANGE YOUR FORMULA?!?!? THIS USED TO BE THE BEST AT HIDING MY REDNESS. THE ONLY GREEN CREAM THAT WORKED. BUT NOW, THE NEW INGREDIENTS, IT'S CHANGED AND NOW IT TURNS INTO ORANGE/BROWN !!!! PPLLLLEEEASSSSEEE CHANGE IT BACK. I should have looked at the reviews before buying.. just like all the others say, it just gives me a really bad/ orange tan. I kept looking at the tube thinking they had skin tone values that I just didn’t notice. Way too dark for my face. It’s a shame too because it does go in well.

Don't buy if you're pale

This is not for all skin colors. My skin is kind of pale, but not porcelain. Instead of covering red or pink areas, it tried giving me a fake tan. My mistake was losing the receipt. Whoever color-checked this was terrible at it.

Go back to the old formula

I used this product for years and it was my absolute favorite. I bought a new tube a few months ago and it came out orange. I thought I just got a bad one but my next tube was the same. I am very disappointed that the formula has changed. It is now think and orange. Please go back to the old formula. I can’t find anything to replace this product but cannot use it with the current formula.

Looks like your liver is failing (yellow skin)

turns skin a yellowish colour - looks like my liver is failing. Lol. Can't wait to get home and take it off. Not only that by the skin on my face feels weird like I am wearing a thick foundation. Oh - one other thing, when I opened the tube today (first application) it squirted out a clear liquid so clearly the formula separates in the tube. Can you give zero out of five?

GO BACK TO OLD FORMULA!

I have been using this for over 5 years and I opened a new tube today and it turned me ORANGE!!! I have Rosacea and this (up until today) had been the answer to all my coverage needs. It used to go on as a fluid and blend perfectly into the skin. I opened 2 new tubes today because I thought the first one was a bad batch, but you obviously CHANGED YOUR FORMULA! No idea why you would change a perfectly good product. I would like answers please and a number to be able to speak to someone.

Ghastly!

I used this BB cream several years ago, and it worked beautifully. I recently bought another tube and was shocked to find out the color has changed. Now the product turns dark orange on my skin! It looked ghastly and did absolutely nothing to neutralize my redness. I regret I will have to look elsewhere to find another BB cream.

Go back to the old formula!

Please go back to the old formula, this one is thicker in consistency and the coloring is off. This new formula wears to thick on the skin and oxidizes on the skin to much making you looks almost orange. Where then having to put on more concealer to counteract it. I am a makeup artist and I used to recommend this product left and right but no longer can due to the change in formulation. Please reverse the change.

It’s now on my medical allergy report.

DANGEROUS REACTION. Within 10 minutes of application to my face, I had to call 911 because of the terrible allergic reaction. Swollen eyes, lips, tongue, mouth, hives difficulty breathing and talking. Took two Benadryl tablets waiting for the ambulance which likely saved my life. 5 hours in the ER on IV steroids and Benadryl.

Disappointment

If I could rate this zero stars I would. My skin is very pale and I get very blotchy red all over so I got this product in hopes that it would take care of my problem but it turned me completely orange I was so disappointed and bummed out because I got myself so hyped up about it. I’ll have to deal with it because of course I won’t be able to return the product considering it was open and a little bit was used.

Why does it have to be so dark?

I put this on in front of the mirror of my dimly lit bathroom. So far, so great. My skin looked even and I saw no red. I drive to work thinking I look okay. I get to work and go in the bathroom to wash my hands. I look in the mirror, and my reflection begins to sing "oompa loompa doompity do, I've got another puzzle for you." I was bright orange- I suppose that's how it gets rid of the redness.

I have overall red tinted skin. It got rid of the red and made me bright orange. I look like I got a really bad spray tan. It does not match my skin tone at all. If you have a lighter complexion, do not use this product!

I absolutely love this stuff. I don’t wear a lot of makeup so this is perfect. It is light weight and goes on evenly. Unfortunately, I can no longer find it where I live in Canada so I have to buy it on Amazon

Product consistency is good, spreads easily, and leaves a nice matte finish. However, on fair skin it turns quite orange and looks like bad self-tanner. I’m unsure if it actually neutralizes redness or just covers it up - I have to use a lot of makeup to neutralize the orange. Also, it does not contain sunscreen.

Flawless and beautiful

I am so amazed at how beautiful this product makes my skin. I have light olive skin with red undertones around my chin, mouth, lower jawline nose and forehead. One thin application creates a flawless complexion, that I really don’t need to slather on my foundation. I merely use it sparingly to cover any imperfections, but it’s hard to find any after I used this anti-redness BB cream! I’m 61, I have very good skin, and this makes me look 20 years younger! I hope L’Oreal NEVER discontinued this product.

The Very Best BB-Anti-Redness cream EVER!

12/2/22 This product is amazing! I have before after pictures the really show how it works. My nose is rosey red. I dab the Magic BB Anti Redness on and let it set for a minute. I then add my tinted cream make up and finish off with a little nude powder. The red is gone. Using only the tinted cream only darkens the redness. I Love, Love, Love this product!!! I have tried them all!
