The scent, shine, and softness were lovely, HOWEVER it caused severe scalp tingling/irritation, and hair shedding. The in shower application experience was pleasant and seemed to coat my hair well so I had high hopes. While rinsing however, I had a lot of hair fall out from the root, which I found odd since I never have hair shedding issues. I assumed it might just be odd coincidence and continued with the rest of the line, however after continuing on with the rest of the glycolic gloss line (conditioner, and leave in) and letting my hair dry, I started to notice sever scalp tingling about 10-30 minutes after I had finished my hair routine. I can confirm it was the shampoo because I only applied the rest of the glycolic gloss routine to my midlengths and ends. This tingling turned to burning and lasted 2-3 days even after using cold water on my scalp and using my other L'Oreal shampoo line. In conclusion I had high hopes and was very sad that this did not work out. The packaging, scent, and branding are phenomenal and I would love to know a way to make this shampoo work for me! I am a L'Oreal lover in general so please for anyone buying do not be descouraged! Everyone's hair is different. I personally have fine wavy hair and this DID add shine as promised.

I struggle to find something that makes my hair feel smooth, moisturized and tangle free, but not greasy or weighed down. And doesn't cost a fortune, since I have a ton of hair and go through product so fast. This is it! I was using the hyaluronic acid one, and it was very meh. It didn't weigh my hair down much, but it still felt dry at the ends. With this, it has body, but it'd silky and shiny. Please don't get rid of this line!!

First off, I LOVE the smell of this, but it definitely won’t be for everyone. It has that amazing salon smell mixed with bubblegum? Not sure exactly, but I love it. It also has an amazing lather and a little bit goes a long way. It felt great on my hair until after I rinsed the shampoo out. My hair was definitely shiny after using it (+ the conditioner), but by itself it made my hair feel almost dry? Overall, I had an okay experience with this shampoo. I personally wouldn’t repurchase, but it definitely wasn’t a major fail either.

After using it for a month (with 2 hair washes per week,) I can’t say I noticed a significant difference in my hair’s shininess. (I used it with the Elvive Conditioner and Leave-In Serum.) Pros: the active ingredients in this shampoo (I’m assuming the glycolic acid) REALLY helped with dandruff. My typical shampoo is a Head & Shoulders store brand dupe, but I would say the Elvive did a better job at preventing dandruff. Cons: For me, the scent was too overpowering. There’s a perfume-y quality to it; it’s hard to describe, but not fruity. There’s a sunburn warning on the bottle due to the AHA in the products. It suggests “limiting sun exposure while using this product.” Good to have the warning, but for me, in the summertime, it made me hesitant to use it on days where I knew I’d be outside a lot. Too much hassle from that perspective. In the winter though, I wouldn’t think twice. Overall, not a bad product, but not for me. I’ll finish the bottles, and see if there’s any improvement to my hair’s dullness, but I won’t repurchase.

The one thing I really look for is that it didn’t dry out my hair even after double cleansing with it! Then it lathered really well and cleaned my hair thoroughly! The consistency is not too thick or too thin, so it won’t be slipping through your fingers and onto the shower floor which is always a plus. I didn’t really see a difference with just the shampoo alone when it comes to shine for my hair type, but it did well as a hydrating shampoo!

It makes my hair not only feel amazing but also smells amazing too. My husband has also been using this & I love the way his hair smells afterwards. I highly recommend!

I would recommend using the whole bundle, shampoo, conditioner, and the leave in serum. What a world of a difference in my hair. Thank you for letting me try it! I also loved the fruity and clean smell-it lasted in my hair for days after washing. It also made my hair feel so refreshed in the shower, my hair still did air dry quite frizzy and not super shiny after use but it was able to be styled still.

It's so refreshing and lasts just enough. The packaging is easy to handle by slippery hand in the shower. It smooth and lathers up richly with just a small amount. Definitely a staple in my shine routine!

The shampoo has a nice light fruity, floral scent that is not overwhelming. A little goes a long way, it has a nice lather to it. It rinses out nicely without a stripping or residue feel. It is not advertised as volumizing but it left my fine, super straight hair with a little volume. Best of all, it did not irritate my sensitive scalp!

I absolutely love how this shampoo smells, that was the first thing I noticed. It also lathers really nicely, and quickly which made me feel like my hair was getting really clean. I usually use a shampoo and conditioner for curly hair, as I have natural loose curls, and after using these products I do have less curls and a little more waves instead, so that’s not as ideal for me, but my hair is very soft and less frizzy so I’m not too bummed about it. I’d recommend for someone who is looking to repair dry or porous hair, these products do make a difference when used together.

It is pretty strong and it does last a very long time. So if you are sensitive to something, this might not be for you but other than that, it was a great product.

I have an oily scalp so I’m very picky with the type of shampoo I use. This shampoo made my hair so flat at the top. I also blow dry my hair upside down to give it volume but this did not allow for any of that. I already have frizzy hair and so I usually put it up in a claw clip to help with the frizz but it did not help at all.
