The fact that not all our brands are certified does not mean that products are tested on animals. Garnier recently underwent certification and we are now considering which brand will go next.

My new favorite!

I am incredibly picky when it comes to mascara. I have tried so many brands in my lifetime and only a few make the cut. This mascara has made the top of my list. The formula and the brush make for seamless application. There are ZERO clumps..which is my biggest pet peeve. And the brush makes my lashes separate, well defined, natural looking, and overall fabulous. I can't say enough.

A lot of fall out

I tried L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Noir Balm Mascara in the color Black Noir. The tube is pretty thick, which I like. The wand is long which gives me more control for application. The brush is skinny/bristle like. After initial use, it made my lashes longer and because of the type of brush, it separated my lashes really well. I wouldn't say it added volume but it felt like it equally covered all my lashes. Multiple applications left my lashes too spider-like, so I would use this with maybe 1-2 layers.
My main issue with this product is the lack or duration. There was a lot of fallout throughout the day on my cheeks and undereye. Just little black specs on my face, not so much racoon eyes. Even taking it off, it left me with more specs on my face and my cotton pad. I wouldn't recommend it for this reason.

Voluminous Noir Balm Mascara

I have been using L'Oreal products for years and recently tried the Voluminous Noir Balm mascara....DON'T BOTHER with it! It did not hold my lashes in place and by the end of the evening (only 3 hrs after applying it) it didn't even look like I was wearing mascara. I appreciate the natural look but it did not do anything for accentuating my eyelashes. I won't be purchasing it ever again...back to the original formula for me.

Great Mascara!

Love this mascara! The formula is creamy and pigmented. For me, it applies smoothly and evenly without clumps or flakes. My lashes look full but natural. It doesn't make my lashes feel "crunchy" and washes away easily when I take my makeup off. I think it performs better than several high-end mascaras I've tried. I have used for many years and will continue to do so!

Disappointed and have lost a customer.

Have been a Loreal mascara fan for 15 years and decided to purchase the Voluminous Noir Balm and am severely disappointed in this product, after 4 coats of mascara its like i one coat on. The wand needs to be changed as I think the mascara itself is ok. It was a waste of $20.00 for mascara and will now be trying out different brands.

Mascara with a mission :-)

I purchased the Brown Balm and am very happy with it. I have cancer and have lost lashes as well as they are shorter and fragile. There are many companies that offer mascara for cancer patients at a very steep price. I appreciate Loreal making a product that conditions and is gentler on eyelashes while not making a profit off of populations that may specifically benefit from this.

Not voluminous

This Mascara is not voluminous, at all. After three coats, it's still nowhere near the the regular voluminous mascara. Can you please just bring back Bambi Eye? So many people thought I had fake lashes, that's how long my lashes got with Bambi Eye.
