INGREDIENTS

Castor Oil

Castor oil is extracted from crushed seeds of the castor plant, and is comprised of 90 percent ricinoleic acid, a hydroxyl containing fatty acids. These fatty acids provide emollient properties that help minimize moisture loss, thus improving hydration. Studies have also shown that castor oil can improve hair’s luster.

the smell of this shampoo is AMAZING and lasts all day. I have pretty damaged hair from years of straightening and dying. This shampoo made my hair feel so soft and even gave it some volume. It also used to take me forever to brush my hair because of knots, but know it takes about 50 seconds. Honestly, it’s equivalent to any matrix product I’ve used and the price you can’t beat!

Love It!...but.....

I have fine, colored treated hair and sometimes breakage is a problem for me. I LOVE the whole Dream Lengths line- shampoo, conditioner, Wonder Water, and no haircut cream, but I was disappointed to learn that they are not sulfate and silicone free. My hairdresser told me to never use products with sulfates on my colored treated hair. If they remove the sulfates, I'll definitely come back.

I bought this shampoo hoping to grow my hair and gain back it’s health but I started noticing hair loss immediately after I started using it, it was an excessive amount which is so heart breaking seeing as I was hoping to grow my hair not completely lose it, right after I stopped using it my hair was no longer falling out at all whenever I use it it’s immediately falling out DO NOT BUT

Major hair loss

The amount of hair I lost with using this shampoo and conditioner is very concerning. Just clumps of hair falling out and it VISIBLY thinned out my hair and honestly made me even think it had something to do with my health because of how much was coming out. Switched to a different shampoo and immediately noticed a difference. Barely any hair came out with the new shampoo. Please use with caution!!!!!!

Sorry but why did you change the dream length line

I’m highly disappointed that they changed the formulation and the bottle and also they changed the bottle cap?? The formula felt way too oily for my hair and the bottle… the functionality is just horrible I’m sorry not trying to be shady… I was terrified it would break or pop on me. Thankfully it didn’t.

I have long wavy thick hair which dries out after shampoo and not easy to braid after shampoo since it gets tangled and. Have been using frizz defy sulfate free. Will dream length help me ? Dream length conditioner definitely helped in detangling my hair.

I ran out, and didn't notice the change in the bottle label when I picked it up. By the second shampoo, I knew something was wrong. My hair was flat and dull, no bounce. I checked the bottle and read "Split Ends"; assuming I bought the wrong one, I took it back to the store of purchase, only to find the Restoring formula no long available. This Split Ends product is not good for my hair at all. Please bring back the original, or tell me which one is the most like it, because it certainly isn't the Split Ends one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by JAcosta from Ruined my daughter's hair I started using this on my 7yr daughter's hair at first we liked it, it has a great smell but after a few weeks ( we only wash her hair twice a week ) her hair started to become dry and knotted easily I thought maybe she needed a trim so we trimmed about 3inchs off a nice fresh cut but still her hair was getting worse, I have now switched back to the previous brand we used and I just had to buy other hair treatments to attempt to save her hair, This shampoo/conditioner line left a waxy build-up on her hair over time causing it to become extremely dry, it feels awful, grimy when her hair is dry NOTHING is helping it, her hair is so knotted when wet attempting to brush it is causing alot of breakage and hairloss I 100% regret ever using this product on my daughter's hair

The Restoring shampoo is great, just like its predecessor the Extraordinary oils shampoo. Two best shampoos out there. worked amazing. Until you got rid of them for the split ends shampoo that literally ruined my hair and makes split ends worse. If anyone in corporate reads these at all PLEASE bring back the extraordinary oils or restoring shampoo and kill the split ends before you loose all your loyal customer from ruining their hair.

I was using this more natural biotin shampoo for a while, and it was ok but my hair was always super dry and frizzy and not super defined, but this shampoo and conditioner makes my hair really hydrated and shiny and the curls are much more defined than before. I'm super impressed especially because it was really cheap compared to what I usually buy. I had a classmate with a similar hair type that recommended it to me when I asked her how her curls always look so hydrated and defined when my hair was always frizzy, and I'm glad I bought it instead of repurchasing the one I was using before. I recommend!

Unfortunately I bought the big shampoo and conditioner and now I don't know if I should finish it or throw it away. It leaves my hair extremely dry and tangled. Plus it dries out my scalp leaving me with dandruff and my daughter's ears started peeling with the use of this shampoo. It says it reduces breakage but to me it did the total opposite. My split ends are worse than when I bought.

It has made brushing easier and it looks healthier my kids decided they wanted to use this product as well because it works. I actually have the leave in conditioner to I like it because while working it keeps my hair in place being a fan is blowing on it.

I LOVE the whole Dream Lengths line- shampoo, conditioner, Wonder Water, and no haircut cream, but I was disappointed to learn that they are not sulfate and silicone free. My hairdresser told me to never use products with sulfates on my colored treated hair. If they remove the sulfates, I'll definitely come back.

L'Oreal had made a hair system for hair...not a particular type of hair... but hair I'm general. Before using the system...I purchased Tahliah Wadged(spelling?) an African American owned and produced product. I was in love with their Great Detangler...but L'Oreal knocked them off of my have to have list. My extra curly hair has no tangles at all after using the full system. I can just comb through it and go. With my past product...It still took me 20 minutes to Detangle. Also I lose less hair during washing and styling. I switch back and forth from the dream Lengths and the damaged hair system that L'Oreal has...so that both systems will continue to work like the first time. My hair is the best I've ever experienced it. Please do not change the formulas...I finally found a product that's perfect for my hair grade/type

My hair is down past my waist, dark auburn, and since I have been using Dream Lengths products my hair looks great, in fact, I've had complete strangers come up to me and tell how beautiful my hair is.

I’ve been using Elvive Dream Lengths for 4 months and I LOVE IT! It’s light, smells wonderful and leaves my hair super soft and Eleanor for up to 48 hours! The best part? I don’t even use conditioner anymore!!! And I get sooo many compliments on my hair and it looks shiny and healthy!

I have 4 high-end bottles of both, totaling 8 sitting on my shower chair that I have to alternate because of waxy build up, etc. (Not counting leave-in sprays) For the last few months my hair has been looking and feeling like straw. I just chalk it up to age 63, bad thyroid, or the sun. I saw this advertised on tv, and also one night read the reviews. So...where do I start? I bought it and used it for the first time today. I have waist long hair, with alot of porous spots from coloring over 40 years. My hair, after ONE use, is silky, shiny, not waxy or weighed down, believe me, I know the difference--I've tried them all. So I shampooed and I could feel the silkiness, not straw immediately! I then conditioned, and brushed through as always to detangle in the shower. The brush ran through like silk. I can't get over this!! Last but not least, the smell is amazing! It's not too fruity or I wouldn't like it, just a nice powdery smell. I BEG OF YOU, DO NOT change a thing about this and ruin it .It's perfection in a bottle! Time to throw away all those products I wasted my money on, and not even close to the look of what your product has done already for my hair. The price is unreal as well! THANK YOU!! If you need an older model to advertise this product, I am YOURS!!

This shampoo made my hair feel so soft and even gave it some volume. It also used to take me forever to brush my hair because of knots, but know it takes about 50 seconds. Honestly, it’s equivalent to any matrix product I’ve used and the price you can’t beat!

If it's not up I straighten my hair. I would say I wear my hair straight 3-4 days a week. My hair does grow fast but I constantly have a problem with spilt ends and breakage of hair. The very first day I used Dream Length hair products my hair looked better, smoother, healthier, it didn't fall out as much and my hair bearly tangled throughout the day. And I must mention the wonderful smell and my hair smells amazing in the shower and last all day. I will forever used the Dream Length Hair Care System. Im in love with all of it. Totally worth every penny.

Upon first use, I found the scent to be very unpleasant. It smells like an old bottle of those 2000s Pink Sugar perfumes--which surprised me as Loreal products usually have a nice fragrance. My hair shed IMMENSELY when using this, to the point where my drain was clogging constantly. Right after lathering clumps end up in my hands. To make matters worse it left my hair with tons of tangles that were so hard to get out more hair ended up ripping in the process. My scalp seems so bare that I am looking into buying expensive products to help regrow it. I have fine hair to begin with now I almost need a toddler's hair tie. I was interested in the balm in this collection but after this experience I am too nervous to try.

After using the shampoo and conditioner for about 2 weeks, I'm done and won't buy again. My hair was extremely tangly after getting out of the shower, it was dry and coarse instead of soft and smooth, and I have noticeable split ends now when I didn't before. I cannot recommend this product.

Almost like a wet “Barbie doll” kind of feeling. My hairdresser even agreed it felt very different. I haven’t used this product for about 3 months now and I STILL cannot get my hair back to NORMAL?? feel. Very frustrated

I came across this at my sister-in-laws shower.. and I’m in love with the scent. Please continue to make this product.. and do not change the recipe. It’s perfect. My hair is often dry, and this brought in moisture.

I started seeing noticeable results after only a few weeks. I use shampoo sparingly, use the conditioner on my ends and the leave in stuff while my hair is still very damp. I’ve had no issues with buildup- just have to make sure you rinse thoroughly.

I didn't want to cut it off and start over and that's when I found Elvive by L'Oreal and boy am I glad I did. My hair is softer and bouncer. It has a natural shine. I had been off work for a few weeks due to Covid and I went back to work last night and EVERYONE thought 8 had gotten my hair done. But all I did was try for WONDERFUL new shampoo and conditioner. THANK YOU L'Oreal!
