These days, there are so many different beauty trends and techniques to keep up with that it can be hard to figure out the basics. Sometimes, you just want a cute, go-to makeup look that’s easy to pull off and even easier to apply. Don’t fret—we have plenty of ideas for you! Here, we’re sharing four cute everyday makeup looks that anyone can do—regardless of skill level.
If you haven’t heard, pastel tones are seriously on trend in the makeup and hair worlds right now, and two-toned eye shadow is the perfect way to try out the look for yourself. This is a cute eye makeup look that you can easily rock during the day and in the evening. If you’re not feeling super adventurous about your makeup, keep both of your tones in the same color family. Try using the L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche Pocket Palette Eye Shadow in Violet Amour and place the lightest lavender shade on your entire upper eyelid, then accent the outer corners with a darker shade of purple.
Another, perhaps more daring option, is to use two totally different colors, such as pastel pink and pastel blue, for your two-toned look. To do so, cover your entire upper eyelid with the L'Oréal Paris Infallible 24HR Eye Shadow in Always Pearly Pink. Next, use the L'Oréal Paris Infallible 24HR Eye Shadow in Timeless Blue Spark to add a bit of blue to the outer corners of your upper eyelids. Use your eyeshadow brush to blend so that the colors seamlessly transition from one to the other.
When it comes to cute makeup looks, peach is always a good go-to shade. That’s because it’s dark enough to bring out your features, but also light enough to be worn during the day. We happen to think that one of the best ways to utilize peach in your makeup look is by coordinating your blush with your lip color. Brush the L'Oréal Paris Paradise Enchanted Fruit-Scented Blush Makeup in Just Curious onto your cheekbones, then paint your lips with the L'Oréal Paris Rouge Signature, Lasting Matte Liquid Lipstick in I Empower. To keep the focus on your peach accents, we suggest pairing this look with a neutral, nude eyeshadow, such as the L'Oréal Paris Infallible 24HR Eye Shadow in Endless Pearl.
Is anything cuter than hot pink? The answer is no, not really. Rather than rocking a hot pink shade on your eyes or cheeks—which is a good look but pretty daring—try it out on your lips with the L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche Lipstick Shine Lipstick in Laminated Fuchsia. Keep the rest of your face makeup subtle and emphasize your eyes with brown eyeliner rather than black. We particularly love the L'Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Last Waterproof, Up to 24HR Pencil Eyeliner in Brown, which glides on easily and won’t smudge, no matter what your day (or night) brings.
Metallic makeup, when done right, is pretty much cuter than cute. To see for yourself, start by painting your entire upper eyelid with the L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche Monos Eyeshadow in Mademoiselle Pink, then dust a light layer of the L'Oréal Paris Infallible Crushed Foils Metallic Eyeshadow in Diamond Dust overtop. Using a smaller eyeshadow brush, dust the same metallic eyeshadow onto the very inner corner of your eyes and along your bottom lash line. Next, apply a thin line of the L'Oréal Paris Infallible The Super Slim Liquid Eyeliner in Black across your upper lash line. Finish off with a few coats of your favorite mascara, and your eyes are all set. As for your face, you’ll want to add a touch of the L'Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Bronze It Bronzer on both cheeks and accent the highpoints of your face (aka your upper cheekbones, brow bone, and cupid’s bow) with the L'Oréal Paris Infallible Longwear Highlighter Shaping Stick in Slay-In-Rose.
