WHEN TO USE

This night moisturizer should be used as part of your nighttime/evening skin care routine. Layer on after serum.

In the morning, follow up with your daytime skin care routine and be sure to always finish with broad-spectrum SPF of 30 or greater, as retinol can increase the skin’s sensitivity to the sun (photosensitivity).

HOW TO USE

Week 1
Apply one pea-sized pump 2 nights per week for face, under eyes, and crow’s feet, being sure to avoid the eyelid. Use a pea-sized pump for the neck and décolleté. Always follow with broad-spectrum SPF in the morning to protect the skin.

Week 2
Apply every other night.

Week 3
Apply nightly as tolerated.

Main Ingredients:

Retinol: Retinol (also called Vitamin A) is one of the gold standard molecules used by dermatologists to correct the signs of aging, including superficial and deep wrinkles, inhomogeneous complexion and pigmentation disorders. Highly effective, sometimes less well tolerated by sensitive skin, it works by accelerating epidermal cell renewal and by reinforcing skin structure network.

Niacinamide: Niacinamide (also known as nicotinamide and vitamin B3) is a component of important coenzymes involved in hydrogen transfer. Topical application of niacinamide has a stabilizing effect on epidermal barrier function and helps decrease water loss from the skin. It improves the surface structure of aging skin and smoothes out wrinkles.

Great product, well worth the price.

My skin is hypersensitive. Even washing my face using my regular cleanser with tap water in different cities when I travel makes it become unbalanced and break out. I’ve tried the most advertised retinol cream before, and for a good little while it worked beautifully. I suddenly developed a sensitivity to it after a year that made me break out and I had to discontinue it. Of course I’ve been very reluctant to try another retinol cream, but the addition of niacinamides to this product and the fact that dimethicone is very far down the list of ingredients made me comfortable to try it. It has done much more to improve my skin that I ever expected. I have lost weight over the course of 9 months and my face was showing it in a bad way. This cream helped so much I really can’t believe it. The improvement in texture, moisture, and diminished appearance of lines and wrinkles were noticeable in the first week, and improvement has continued gradually in the month of I’ve used it. Best of all, no sensitivity or breakouts. I am 71, fair skinned, and stopped spending time in the sun 50 years ago, so I have less damage than many my age, but life, circumstances, and gravity still take their toll. I’ve also been adding collagen peptide powder to my morning coffee, which I believe has been helpful in addition to upping my water intake. I’m not claiming miraculous benefits, but I do credit this product with greatly improving my complexion and appearance in a short time. If you are on the fence about a retinol cream, I highly recommend this one. If it can make a difference on someone my age, I think it would help younger skin stay looking younger longer. As a side note, there are other L’Oreal products - especially eye treatments - that I would try if dimethicone was removed or at least not in the first five ingredients listed. Many people are sensitive to dimethicone, including me, and it does not benefit the skin.

Not worth the HUGE price tag!

I'm 56, my face breaks out if I even so much as just look at skincare, but, not with this,,,YEAHHHH! NOW, the fact that this wasn't too greasy, and it sank right into my skin,,,,this did absolutely nothing for my fine lines and wrinkles! You'd think that with such an expensive product, it would have done AT LEAST THAT! Don't care for the pump dispenser either. I won't be wasting my money on this again.

I had high hopes for this product, but it didn’t live up to the claims. After 2 weeks of consistent use, I noticed very little improvement in fine lines or skin texture. Instead, my skin became excessively dry and irritated, even though I followed the instructions and used moisturizer.

Everyone’s facial skin varies from each product of use. Male of 36yrs of age with sensitive skin, breakouts are apparent when using new products. As of this review of 5 months Lorea’l Pressed Night Moisturizer / Retinol has provided great results of diminished fine lines, under-eye discoloration as well Crow’s feet. As a Dermatologist of 7 years for my gender, age and expertise, this item would most definitely be recommended. Again, each person/s varies for each product.

I really like the product on my skin. Very effective after 3 months of use. my skin feels moisturized, it has brighten my skin and the texture has improved. i use it in conjuction with the pure retinol by Loreal rebitalift. the combo has made a big improvement on skin. but you have to be consistent to see results.

effective OTC retinol

I used to use a prescription retinol but recently stopped. This seems just as effective and I really love this easy to use and innovative pump packaging. I received this to review and I definitely will consider buying this again when I’m out because it works.

I liked this moisturizer and feel like it’s doing something, however, I have only been using it for a few weeks so I can’t speak to long term effects. I like that there is no fragrance with this moisturizer. However, something I don’t like is that it stays tacky for a while until it finally absorbs into my skin. One thing that’s good and bad is the packaging. To dispense the product, you push lightly on the top. This is great as long as there is plenty of product, however, I don’t know how it will work once it gets to the bottom of the jar. I personally hate to waste product but also hate having to break packaging to get every last bit.

The idea is to press and get an appropriate amount and the idea is cool but just too messy. The formula itself is good. Not too oily and lightweight. I'm very fair with soft skin but it just not was my go to. I gave it to my mom to try and she enjoyed it.

I loved the packaging and how you pump out the product, dispensing the needed amount. While my skin did feel softer after use, I didn’t notice any difference in feeling moisturized, or firmer or fewer lines and wrinkles. After two weeks of use I had to discontinue as my skin was not happy.

I love the overall shape and design of the bottle. The major plus is the pump top. It leaves no room for error and no mess. Plus! Plus! The cream is really silky and light. It also goes on smooth with no heavy feel. There is no smell which I like bc scented products will breakout my face. The cream does leave my face moisturized which was a shocker for me. I have really dry skin, especially at night after I was my face. When I wake up the next morning my face is still moisturized. #winwin. I didn’t notice a change in my face other than it not being dry. No smoothing of my skin or reduction of fine lines. It may work better for others. I definitely say give it a try. I’ll keep using it and will probably do an update in a few weeks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ValenciaM from Quite Effective! Being a bit of a skincare aficionado and ingredient snob, I can give this serum an enthusiastic thumbs up! I used this serum 4 nights (alternating every other day) for one week; and every night for an 3 additional weeks. I am quite new to retinols, but highly familiar with niacinamede. I used the cream as a finishing moisturizer after washing and toning my face and décolleté. I also used on various dark marks on my legs and breasts. I am happy to report that all of these ares are noticeably more even toned and smooth after using this cream. Some are barely visible at all! I will continue to use this cream and may repurchase. I love the design of the jar. The press cap is very sanitary and gives the perfect amount depending on how firmly you press. The cream has a pleasant smell that isn’t at all overpowering and it doesn’t linger. The consistency is like a light lotion. I was surprised that it wasn’t thicker. I wish it were a tad more emollient, because while leaving me with a supple glow when first applied; by the next morning my skin felt soft, but not as moisturized as I prefer. I rectified this by week 3 by simply applying my daily moisturizer on top. This cream hits all the bases and does what it claims. The only reason I deducted a star was due to it having soy as an ingredient. Soy is not a good ingredient for me for various reasons, but that’s a personal choice.

It provides the correct amount of product in a very hygienic way. This night cream contains retinol and niacinamide. Product is fragrance free, absorbs quickly into skin providing hydration but not greasy. Initial results are moisturized, softer and smoother skin. Over time I hope for more radiant, brighter skin that is firmer and tighter.

The consistency is rich but not clogging, definitely nourishing and it feels luxurious. I have never had an issue with the products despite sensitive skin. I am also not usually a fan of products that have a scent but love the way these smell.

This product is mild and won't be irritating even on sensitive skin. Sensitive skin better to try it on a small area before using it on the whole face and remember not to use it daily for the first week, try once/twice a week, then increase times on the second week. After four weeks, my skin does look more bright and smooth, wrinkle looks a little bit lighter than before. One thing for dry/very dry skin, even it said it is a night "cream", it is better to apply moisturizer right after it because the Retinol will make your skin more dry than usual. Overall, I think it is a great product, I does see the improvement on my skin.

I’m not noticing much of a difference in my forehead wrinkles, but it’s definitely helped to moisturize and smooth the texture of my skin.

As for the product itself, it is nice and goes on the skin nicely has a very soft smooth texture. It’s not super oily so that’s a plus for me since I have oily skin. I didn’t notice any significant change in my skin from using this product it could be because I don’t really have any wrinkles are noticeable fine lines. I think it did light up my dark spots a bit giving me a more even skin tone but that’s about it.

I like that 1 pump is pretty much all I need for my face and neck. I started slow like suggested to get my skin use to Retinol again. The last time I used retinol it was in a serum and made my skin so sensitive so I was worried that this would make my skin burn too. I was surprised that it wasn't as sensitive using this cream. I still recommend applying an SPF the next day. I think I need more time to see better results, but so far i feel like my skin looks brighter and in the before and after photos I'm noticing that I don't look as "jawl" like around my mouth.

This one here is an excellent product very reliable does precisely what it's supposed to do I'm much happy with it. It has a light fragrance, goes on smooth, really hydrates your face. I already see a noticeable difference in my skin - it feels much more supple, the surface smoother and softer to touch. I highly recommend adding this to your routine for any skin! Packaging is excellent; you don’t waste any amount of the product; I love it!! I am absolutely in love with this line of Revitalift products.

This retinol cream is excellent quality, has gorgeous packaging that dispenses the perfect full-face amount, and more affordable with superior results. I love the silky, smoothing texture and that it seems unscented which is great for sensitive skin. My skin is glowy and noticeably smoother after using this for several weeks! I did go through a slight purging in the first week but it’s provided lovely skin ever since!!

I used retinol before and didn’t get any redness or dryness. The cream had a yellow color, very lightweight and absorbs very quickly. Has very little fresh scent and my skin feels soft and hydrated. I love the concept of a fresh-pressed jar , great for single dose and hygienic, no bacteria can get inside the jar. I have very dry skin, but I can see the results after using this cream for more than 3 weeks.

You are able to ease into using retinol because you start off by only using this product twice a week then slowly increase usage in the following weeks. I love the press too lid, it's perfect for dispensing the right amount of cream. A little of this product goes a long way, so this jar should last for quite some time. The cream is lightweight and absorbs completely. This product did not irritate my skin at all. It left my face feeling soft and hydrated. Having used this cream for about 3 weeks, my wrinkles and fine lines are less noticeable. I am looking forward to see even better results as this product has become a part of my daily skincare regimen.

But unfortunately, I didn’t notice much of a difference in my my fine lines(my main one being my smile line) nor did I see an improvement in my dark spots. I have sensitive skin and I was able to tolerate every other night of this retinol. Didn’t bother my skin, no burning. It did cause my chin to “purge,” which almost made me stop using it, but I pushed thru. The cream was very silky and hydrating. No smell that I recall. I do love the packaging tho. Easy to use push top and the perfect amount dispenses. Very clean and expensive looking container. My skin did seem more hydrated on the days I used this. I wouldn’t rule this out if you are looking for an easy to tolerate retinol. But I would def follow the directions per your skin. Will def continue to use and see if my pores appear smaller or if it tackles this smile line any.

It does have a bit of stickiness but not too much to bother me since it is used at night. This night cream has really good packaging. It is airtight and the top is easy to remove and put on. I like that it has a pump so the cream does not get contaminated but it does take practice pushing the right amount of product out. Sometimes I would get way too much.I do feel bad that the packaging is probably not easily recycled but will try to figure out a way to refill it when I am done with other products. I did not have any reactions or issues with the retinol. I have used retinol before but I still started slow and with a patch test. I usually use a retinol serum and like that I can eliminate one step with this cream. I also like that the product does come with many suggestions on how to slowly incorporate and test retinol. Very happy this does not have a fragrance. Overall, a good retinol product and night cream.

The press jar is also easy to use and I personally find it more hygienic instead of dipping my finger to pick up the cream. I started slow as recommended and had no problems. Its brighter and just healthier looking overall. i feel like i lool more alive. the press down top container is great. it gives me a perfect amount to do my fave and neck. It has a silky feel to it. it does not absorb quickly but i put it on when im getting ready for bed and by the time i go to sleep its absorbed. This is definitely a new part of my ongoing skin care routine and will continue to buy it.
