WHEN TO USE

This night moisturizer should be used as part of your nighttime/evening skin care routine. Layer on after serum.

In the morning, follow up with your daytime skin care routine and be sure to always finish with broad-spectrum SPF of 30 or greater, as retinol can increase the skin’s sensitivity to the sun (photosensitivity).

HOW TO USE

Week 1
Apply one pea-sized pump 2 nights per week for face, under eyes, and crow’s feet, being sure to avoid the eyelid. Use a pea-sized pump for the neck and décolleté. Always follow with broad-spectrum SPF in the morning to protect the skin.

Week 2
Apply every other night.

Week 3
Apply nightly as tolerated.

Main Ingredients:

Retinol: Retinol (also called Vitamin A) is one of the gold standard molecules used by dermatologists to correct the signs of aging, including superficial and deep wrinkles, inhomogeneous complexion and pigmentation disorders. Highly effective, sometimes less well tolerated by sensitive skin, it works by accelerating epidermal cell renewal and by reinforcing skin structure network.

Niacinamide: Niacinamide (also known as nicotinamide and vitamin B3) is a component of important coenzymes involved in hydrogen transfer. Topical application of niacinamide has a stabilizing effect on epidermal barrier function and helps decrease water loss from the skin. It improves the surface structure of aging skin and smoothes out wrinkles.

Great product, well worth the price.

My skin is hypersensitive. Even washing my face using my regular cleanser with tap water in different cities when I travel makes it become unbalanced and break out. I’ve tried the most advertised retinol cream before, and for a good little while it worked beautifully. I suddenly developed a sensitivity to it after a year that made me break out and I had to discontinue it. Of course I’ve been very reluctant to try another retinol cream, but the addition of niacinamides to this product and the fact that dimethicone is very far down the list of ingredients made me comfortable to try it. It has done much more to improve my skin that I ever expected. I have lost weight over the course of 9 months and my face was showing it in a bad way. This cream helped so much I really can’t believe it. The improvement in texture, moisture, and diminished appearance of lines and wrinkles were noticeable in the first week, and improvement has continued gradually in the month of I’ve used it. Best of all, no sensitivity or breakouts. I am 71, fair skinned, and stopped spending time in the sun 50 years ago, so I have less damage than many my age, but life, circumstances, and gravity still take their toll. I’ve also been adding collagen peptide powder to my morning coffee, which I believe has been helpful in addition to upping my water intake. I’m not claiming miraculous benefits, but I do credit this product with greatly improving my complexion and appearance in a short time. If you are on the fence about a retinol cream, I highly recommend this one. If it can make a difference on someone my age, I think it would help younger skin stay looking younger longer. As a side note, there are other L’Oreal products - especially eye treatments - that I would try if dimethicone was removed or at least not in the first five ingredients listed. Many people are sensitive to dimethicone, including me, and it does not benefit the skin.

Not worth the HUGE price tag!

I'm 56, my face breaks out if I even so much as just look at skincare, but, not with this,,,YEAHHHH! NOW, the fact that this wasn't too greasy, and it sank right into my skin,,,,this did absolutely nothing for my fine lines and wrinkles! You'd think that with such an expensive product, it would have done AT LEAST THAT! Don't care for the pump dispenser either. I won't be wasting my money on this again.

I had high hopes for this product, but it didn’t live up to the claims. After 2 weeks of consistent use, I noticed very little improvement in fine lines or skin texture. Instead, my skin became excessively dry and irritated, even though I followed the instructions and used moisturizer.

Everyone’s facial skin varies from each product of use. Male of 36yrs of age with sensitive skin, breakouts are apparent when using new products. As of this review of 5 months Lorea’l Pressed Night Moisturizer / Retinol has provided great results of diminished fine lines, under-eye discoloration as well Crow’s feet. As a Dermatologist of 7 years for my gender, age and expertise, this item would most definitely be recommended. Again, each person/s varies for each product.

I really like the product on my skin. Very effective after 3 months of use. my skin feels moisturized, it has brighten my skin and the texture has improved. i use it in conjuction with the pure retinol by Loreal rebitalift. the combo has made a big improvement on skin. but you have to be consistent to see results.

effective OTC retinol

I used to use a prescription retinol but recently stopped. This seems just as effective and I really love this easy to use and innovative pump packaging. I received this to review and I definitely will consider buying this again when I’m out because it works.
