HOW TO USE

Shake well before use. Layer and rub onto the skin just like a moisturizer, using clean hands or buff into skin using a makeup sponge. Apply it as the last step in your skin care routine on makeup free days or as the first step in your makeup routine before foundation.

INGREDIENTS

Main Ingredients (where applicable):
AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) is a class of chemical compounds that occurs both naturally and synthetically. AHAs are predominantly used to reduce wrinkles and facial fine lines, exfoliate the skin’s surface, as well as promote skin cell renewal improving skin elasticity, wrinkles, skin tone evenness and the appearance of dark spots. AHA proves to be particularly helpful in countering the appearance of aging caused by UV exposure by exfoliating the skin quickly.

BHA (beta hydroxy acid) is more commonly referred to in skin care as salicylic acid. Its benefits are made possible by its unique chemical structure. BHA in skin care can exhibit strong exfoliating properties, which enables it to penetrate within the skin, making it highly effective for exposing and eliminating bacteria trapped within skin pores. It also possesses excellent astringent properties that allow it to reduce the amount of bacteria found on and within the skin’s surface. This provides BHA products the ability to regulate potential flair ups in problematic skin. With continuous use, these products can help enhance the skin’s overall quality and appearance.

LHA (lipo hydroxy acid) also known as capryloyl salicylic acid, possesses astringent properties that enable better skin protection. In relation to BHA, LHA’s structure is more fat-dissolving. LHA skin care products allow for gentle exfoliation by weakening bonds between the cells of the outer most layer of the skin. Combining its exfoliating and astringent properties, LHA can be commonly found in facial cleansing products for its ability to improve skin clarity.

I was seeking a product to blend away my warm rosey cheeks. I have always liked Loreal products and this product lives up to its name! Amazing. I applied a tiny amount to my clean skin and I do not need foundation, a tiny amount and I am good to go! Trust me, this product works!

Minimizer? It’s a Pore Highlighter for Me!

I tried this pore minimizer multiple days in a row with three different moisturizers (making sure it wasn’t that causing a problem). Each day my makeup looked cakey and every single penny nose was highlighted, front and center, with all my foundation going into it. So disappointing.

Extremely disappointed

Please bring back the matte setter…why would you leave the pink and green ones when they suck. I tried the pink primer as an alternative to the discontinued one and it’s awful, it clung to my makeup and made everything cakey and flake off. Extremely disappointed with your decision to discontinue the best primer I’ve ever used. Please bring it back.

Not for Sensitive Skin

I have fairly sensitive skin, as many with facial redness do, and my skin did not tolerate this Redness Eraser. I've seen it do a beautiful job on others, however my skin became inflamed and so uncomfortable that I had to wash it off. I've discovered that my face cannot tolerate Niacinamide, and it seems to be in SO many products, even ones claiming to be for sensitive skin. Sadly, my hunt for an effective redness reducer continues on.

I love it this!!! A fantastic product!!

I will absolutely be repurchasing this. This is by far the best primer. I have ice pick acne scars it makes a difference and blurs it. Trick is to let it set for a couple of minutes before applying foundation like with all primers it will pill a little if you don’t let it sink in for a couple of minutes. . I love everything about it-the scent, and the fact that it’s not that silicone slip and slide primer. I hate that greasy feeling. I love the consistency and It absorbs beautifully onto the skin and then put the foundation and you are flawless. I think this is absolutely worth it if it wasn’t a little steep in a price I would buy a bunch to have. It is worth the price though in my opinion, love it.!!!

Stop discontinuing Products that work

I can’t find anything that works as good as infallible matte-lock primer. That was the best primer for oily skin. It worked soooooo good. WHY mess up something that was perfect. This stuff I’d nothing like it and does not work. I’m have to go to eBay to buy infallible matte-lock primer. That’s crazy

The wear and look of this primer on my face exceeded my expectations. I'm in the olive/tan range and I'm oily. It didn't get greasey and slippy on my face after work and it's hot out now. The color looks natural and matched me. I wore it alone without putting my regular foundation on top of it.

I generally dislike primers I've tried because they feel and look like they slide around even after it's suppose to be dry BUT THIS IS AWESOME! First time I've used a primer that I could see the difference immediately. I'm 40 yrs old and starting to see enlarged pores and texture. But it doesn't move! So worth it!! Thank you. I try my best to take care of my skin but it gets expensive. Like I said earlier, I wasn't a fan of primers at all until I used this. It made the foundation I like the least look great!

Will there be a version of this product for LIGHT skin like you use to make under the name Studio Secrets Anti Dull Skin Primer? I loved that product and can't find it any longer. It adds just the right amount of color to offset my dull pale skin AND it's fantastic primer for the bit of foundation I then use.

Typically, I have oily skin, but at the time of trying this product, I was experiencing dry skin, so I had to only apply this product to my nose (an area that was still oily). I would definitely recommend applying this product to ONLY oily areas, because it will keep your look matte, and potentially be too drying for dry areas!

I saw a noticeable difference in my pores, especially wearing foundation. I plan on using the entire bottle before being permanently impressed haha It is extremely light. I feel like adding skincare ingredients like AHA makes this primer better than most primers because it not only helps blur your pores but also has ingredients that help your skin's pores in the long run.

It did actually keep me matte in the places I placed the product, and layered really well between my skincare and makeup. Actually impressed. Subtracting a star for their claim that it "balances skin over time". At the amount of skincare in this product, I can't imagine this is actually a measurable claim.

I tried the next day but with a different sunscreen under it, and it didn't bead up, but it felt kind of rough on my skin, like an exfoliater. I stopped trying it after that.

It's not super tacky but it's not like a lotion either. It sinks in and dries down quickly. I love my it cosmetics bye bye foundation and using this primer was a 1000% game changer in the Caribbean humidity. No foundation melting, slipping, or peeling. I was shocked to be so obsessed with this.

After 4 hours wearing it, my face had the same oily appearance like if I'm not adding anything. Also the smell of the fragrance is way too strong but does go away once on but I personally don't like fragrance on my skin.

When applying foundation, this primer has a grip to it so for me it was a little harder to apply and I prefer the smoother less tacky primers. However, it kept my face looking flawless throughout the night and did not budge!

This primer instantly degreased my skin and stayed matte significantly longer than other primers I've used. When the oil did show through it was much less bad than my usual level of oiliness.

At the end of the day I still had oil in my oily zones but I felt that it was not as heavy or concentrated as it normally is. I feel like after wearing this product for several applications that my oil is definitely reduced but it was not completely gone. I feel that this is a great primer for oily skin.

This had a nice, soft feel that was easy to spread around my face as a smooth base and so I guess it helped smooth out slightly hence "minimizer" but only went so far. I'd buy it again to help provide that blurring effect for sure.
