HOW TO USE

Step 1: Shake Well.
Shake bottle thoroughly before use to activate the microfine mist and evenly distribute the setting agents for seamless application.

Step 2: Position and Spray.
Hold the bottle approximately 10 inches away from your face and spray in a circular motion for the most even, droplet-free distribution across your entire face, ensuring all makeup is set.

How to Set Makeup | How to Use L’Oréal Infallible Setting Spray & Powder for All Day Wear

Hi everyone. My name is Lisa Jauregui and today I’m going to show you how to get transfer-proof makeup that truly lasts all day and looks flawless using all products from L’Oréal Paris. Let’s get started. So in today’s video, we’re going to be talking about two products from L’Oréal Paris and these two products are the finishing touches to every makeup application. They are going to perfect the finish of your makeup, and they’re going to seal and lock that makeup in, so your makeup looks fresh and beautiful and flawless all day long. And transfer-proof. We spend so much time on our makeup, we want it to stay, we want it to look fresh. I know I don't want to be looking in the mirror every few hours, seeing if I need to touch up or what's faded. These two products are a game changer. So as you can see, I have a full face of makeup. So the first product they’re going to be talking about today, is the L'Oréal Paris, the Infallible Blur-fection Setting Powder. And I have it in two shades: I have it in a pink shade, which is really great for brightening, and then I have it in the translucent shade, which is really great for blurring. The pink shade is also going to blur and smooth out texture, but if you want a little extra brightness to your skin and color correction, this one is the way to go. If you want to just kind of smooth out and set the makeup and blur everything, but you don't want any added brightness, the translucent is the way to go. So I’m going to be going in with the pink. And as you can see I have a full face of makeup applied, I've applied all of my makeup. This is kind of the second to last step in my application. I'm just going to take the powder and I'm just going to kind of disperse a little bit of this powder into the lid. So as you can see, I have a good amount of product in the lid. This is a long wearing, up to 24 hour wear loose powder that blurs the skin. It makes your makeup transfer-proof. It's also flashback resistant and there is no talc in this product. It's a really fine, beautiful powder and because I'm using the pink one, I'm actually going to use this to kind of set underneath the eyes and in the center of the face, just to brighten the center of the face and just give a really beautiful, bright effect to the skin. You can see that I have a little bit of shine here in the forehead. I'm also going to cut that down, and I'm just using a flat powder brush. I'm going to load my brush up with product, and then I'm going to tap off any excess. With powder, I always like to kind of build and start light and add more if needed. So I'm going to start in the forehead, I'm just going to kind of press this in the center of the forehead. You can instantly see that that shine is cut down and I have a really smooth, kind of airbrushed effect on the skin. And I'll load my brush up a little more, tap off any excess, and we're going to go right underneath the eye. I love to apply pink powder underneath the eye to really softly brighten underneath that eye, kind of color correct any darkness that you might have, and also smooth out any texture underneath the eye. Underneath the eye I have really fine, delicate little lines. So this powder is going to help soften and smooth out the appearance of that texture. It really just gives a very filtered-like effect. As you apply it you can see the texture kind of softening and disappearing. It's pretty incredible. So I'm going to just apply this where is needed, which for me is underneath the eyes, the center of the face, around the nose. And I also like to apply a little bit on the chin, but you can apply this powder all over. As you can see, I'm doing it after I've applied a full face of makeup, but you also can apply this immediately after foundation and concealer and then go in with your blush and bronzer. This is kind of that last step for me, just to set everything, blur everything. It's that final little step for me to finish off my makeup. I love that this is flashback resistant, so when you take a photo with flash photography, there's not going to be that flashback where your face looks like it's a lighter color than the rest of your body. You'll look very natural. So pretty. I also love how fine this powder is, it's very fine and very lightweight. So the Infallible Blur-Fection Setting Powder is a great last step to set foundation, set concealer, set the makeup, so you have a transfer-proof, blurred smooth effect. Now I'm going to go in with the setting spray. This is the Infallible 3-Second Setting Mist, and I have never seen a product like this before, you guys. This product ensures that your makeup is transfer-proof, sweat-proof, seals it in all day for up to, get this, 36 hours. It's extremely lightweight, it's a very micro fine formula and you guys will see it as I spray it on my skin. You're barely going to see it. It's so light, it just disperses over the face so evenly. You just want to spray for a few seconds and let it dry. And I like to go in circular motions. Kind of let it dry. It's actually going to give a healthy glow like finish to the skin. Unlike other setting sprays that have this longevity, this actually gives the skin a little bit of a glow. Do you see how it just kind of gives the skin a subtle glow? But even though you have a little bit of glow, it is completely transfer-proof. Let's do the tissue test. I have a clean white tissue here. Look at this completely clean. There is no evidence of any makeup. You don't see my foundation on here, you don't see my blush, you don't see my bronzer. Completely transfer-proof. And there you have it. Amazing for facial sweaters.

Perfect for the phoenix az summer heat! I am a facial sweater and unfortunately that means any makeup i wear that isn't sweatproof is gone and leaves bare patches around my forehead. Also prevents my liquid eyeliner from transferring onto just above my upper eyelid. Unfortunately you can accidentally inhale this post spray and it tastes horrid, so don't take a breath immediately after as it lingers a bit in the air. Only con is the size of the can I wish it was in a larger can cause it sells like hotcakes everywhere else

I had a delayed chemical burn. I sprayed this on Wednesday night, and by Saturday my face, neck, lips and chest are covered in hives and whelps. I got it for free with an ultra purchase. Wednesday everything seemed fine, Thursday I woke up and noticed my chin seemed really dry and irritated no matter how much lotion I put on. I thought my skin just rubbed my clothing wrong. Friday I felt sick and my skin looked worse then today, Saturday, my entire face neck chest lips and ears are COVERED in blisters.

Expected more from a L’Oreal product

I was very excited to try L’Oréal brand of setting spray. The second I sprayed it it was a no for me. The force with which it comes out was surprising. I expected more of a mist instead of feeling like I am spraying hairspray onto my face. The smell is very strong as well and I found it to be sticky. I had to look twice to make sure it “wasn’t hairspray.” It is also very irritating to my eyes. Sad to say I won’t be purchasing this again.

New formula

When i first tried this setting spray, it was the best i had ever tried. Did everything advertised. Waterproof, sweatproof, transferproof, and natural finish. My #1 setting spray as a student athlete who needs my makeup to be LIFE PROOF. But then they changed the formula. It made my face so shiny to where it looked greasy but it was dry. My makeup didnt last and transferred. Loreal claims that it is the same formula with a better scent. But the scent is so bad and the formula is NOT the same. I have seen many reviews begging for the old formula back. I continue to check every store i come across to see if they still have the old formula in the back. If they do i buy it. I bought 4 bottles each from different stores but i am on my last one and no one sells the old formula anymore. Loreal pleeeasssse bring it back!!! Dont fix what aint broke.

The single best makeup product I own! I live in FL where in summer you can’t keep makeup on. Best setting spray I've tried

Keeps everything locked in and not oily. It does feel like hairspray and kind of smells like it, but it is great for the price. I have only tried a couple of setting sprays since I'm new to makeup, but this has to be the best one. I go all day without getting oily. I do wish the bottle were bigger. Overall, highly recommend.

HORRIBLE SETTING SPRAY!!

HORRIBLE product! DOES NOT WORK as advertised! I used this spray a few days ago for my stepson's wedding. I cried my eyes out (of course) and afterwards found STREAKS going down my face where my makeup had run!!! This spray did NOT keep my makeup in place for even 3 hours at that point - we had another 4-5 to go for the evening's festivities! I felt like my face had zebra stripes!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!! 😡😡

I don't know what L'Oreal has done to the formula for this product. My original container, the black plastic with the blue top, worked great! I bought the new one ,red metal container blacktop, and it is awful. It is sticky and it burns my eyes even when they're closed. Even when it's dry, when I go out into the humid air, the stickiness returns

I live in an area where summer is typically high 90’s and humid. My makeup hasn’t budge in this weather. Even going to events that are outdoors and no shade my makeup has lasted. It has not irritated my skin or caused any new eczema. It also had my makeup last through a smexy session with the hubby where he even said wow your makeup still looks great!

My makeup transfers as if I never sprayed the setting spray. I dab my face, all makeup. It’s irritating to make claims and it doesn’t do what you said it would! I’m tired of spending money on lies!

Sucks and not worth the price/ Not waterproof

I just bought this The because; whether I’m sweating or I get water on my face or I’m so busy with work that I’ll rub my make right off or even if I lay my hand on my face, it’ll just rub off on my hand so when my sister told me about this, I thought it was perfect. I bought this at Walmart was $10.98 after tax probably $11.50 get home and I use it totally forgot I had did that later that night. I got in the shower and it washed right off this is not worth the price. It’s not worth the hype and I will never recommend this product to anybody. I am not an influencer in anyway, but I have half of mine to put this on all my social media because I’m sure it would get out real quick with as many people as I know I’m on the fence about going to ask for my money back. I will be doing a Google review of this though just an FYI

Best holidng spray ive tried but needs some tweaks

It's most literally a hairspray for your face, which isn't a bad thing. Personally it burns a bit for like 2 seconds then goes away (expecially the eyes if you open to fast). I actually really liked it. Though I did finish in with a powder in my t-zone as normal aswell. I feel it did last pretty long, but I have to do around 2-3 rounds of it if I actually want that lasting makeup. Unfortunately for 13usd for such a small bottle, and needing to spray that much for it to work, it does NOT last long (bottle wize). Which is unfortunate because I would definitely get it again if it lasted more than a few weeks. And i only use it 3 times a week? You can get bigger/same lasting sprays for the same price that last 3× as long. Make it a bigger and I'm down!

One of the worst setting spray i have tried. I follow the instructions and have tried to use more spray, less spray, spraying closer to my face and of course at the recommended 12in. I work in health care and everyday since starting this product my makeup is all over my face mask and does not last. Very disappointed

Setting spray, like no other. My Makeup stays put. I have sensitive, combination skin- oily and dry. This product is Not sticky, not watery. Just a fine mist, dries smooth. My makeup stays fresh all day!

Waterproof, sweatproof, transferproof, and natural finish. My #1 setting spray as a student athlete who needs my makeup to be LIFE PROOF. But then they changed the formula. It made my face so shiny to where it looked greasy but it was dry. My makeup didnt last and transferred. Loreal claims that it is the same formula with a better scent. But the scent is so bad and the formula is NOT the same. I have seen many reviews begging for the old formula back. I continue to check every store i come across to see if they still have the old formula in the back. If they do i buy it. I bought 4 bottles each from different stores but i am on my last one and no one sells the old formula anymore. Loreal pleeeasssse bring it back!!! Dont fix what aint broke.

I sprayed this on Wednesday night, and by Saturday my face, neck, lips and chest are covered in hives and whelps. I got it for free with an ultra purchase. Wednesday everything seemed fine, Thursday I woke up and noticed my chin seemed really dry and irritated no matter how much lotion I put on. I thought my skin just rubbed my clothing wrong. Friday I felt sick and my skin looked worse then today, Saturday, my entire face neck chest lips and ears are COVERED in blisters.

First of all, this spray goes on and feels like hair spray. On top of that, the smell is way too strong. Honestly, I thought I made a mistake and bought a hair product. Lastly, I don’t find that it’s setting my makeup at all. I hate giving this product 1 star…. But I was REALLY disappointed…. And I am a huge LOreal girl!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Y from … It is very lightweight and not at all sticky, so you don't feel it whilst wearing it. I don't find that my makeup transfers onto my clothing whilst wearing it, which can happen a lot without a good setting spray, and it definitely keeps my makeup in place.

I am a facial sweater and unfortunately that means any makeup i wear that isn't sweatproof is gone and leaves bare patches around my forehead. Also prevents my liquid eyeliner from transferring onto just above my upper eyelid. Unfortunately you can accidentally inhale this post spray and it tastes horrid, so don't take a breath immediately after as it lingers a bit in the air. Only con is the size of the can I wish it was in a larger can cause it sells like hotcakes everywhere else

I shed like a lizard all day... I even got home and skipped the primer to see if the products didn't match. Nope works with nothing

My face feels sticky, itchy, just uncomfortable. I cannot wait to get off work to scrub my face. I also have dimples on top of my smile lines each time I smile those creases just get worse. If I could do a 0 I would. It sucks I can’t return it to Target.

I work as a bartender and server in hospitality and sometimes outdoors, overnight, late night and this was great to kinda seal the deal with my makeup for the evening. It does feel like it adds an extra layer of a finishing touch to keep it in place. I'm not a huge fan of alcohol or alcohol smell and it reminded me of spraying hair spray and felt like I was spraying hair spray on my face.

It reminds me of the one size beauty setting spray. I like that it's a continuous spray too, then you know you're hitting every area of your face. It seems to do a decent job at setting your makeup and I think for the price and performance I would repurchase this with my own money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Naty from Perfect as its name "Infallible" I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion: This setting mist is a must have, it really stays up to 36 hours, it's soft, no sticky at all, the fragrance is also soft and nice, I was happy to be able to keep my hair combed for the whole event and even the next day.

Infallible 3-Second Setting Mist is the best setting spray I have ever used💕 It is light and not sticky. It dries super fast and definitely kept my makeup looking crisp for its 36 hour claim. Very easy to use, it's amazing! I will definitely be making this setting spray part of my daily routine. I highly recommend everyone to at least give it a try. I promise you'll fall in love instantly. Best product ever!!!!

The super fine mist sprays out in a continuous spray, kinda like an old hairspray, and does dry in mere seconds. Keeps my makeup on lock without feeling too oily or too dry and I experience zero breakdown. My only issue is that it is EXTREMELY hard to find in-stores or online for purchase. Last time I tried to purchase it I went into a panic thinking that once again L’Oréal has discontinued one of their holy grail products. But… the website says it’s still available. Hopefully they’ll ramp up production and get this gem of a setting spray back in stores!

I remembered my infallible 3 second setting mist ,I finished my makeup as usual and I applied the mist let it set for 3 seconds and I ran out of the house. I totally forgot about my makeup and when I finally went to make sure everything looked good, everything was still in the right place
