Heavy perfume scent & eyes burn .. disappointed .

I usually love Loreal products, which is why I bought two of the age perfect moisturizers with spf. While I don’t like scented products on my face , I’ve never minded the mild scents of Loreal products before .. until this one . It’s a very strong perfume scent and the product burns my eyes. I usually keep it away from my eyes, but this product burned to the point that I had to remove my contacts and wash my face while I was at work ! It burned like regular sunscreen would have . I’ve been using daily moisturizers with SPF for years and this was the first time I had this experience with eyes burning. Now I have one half a jar and a second unopened full jar of a product that I would use if the scent wasn’t so strong and it didn’t burn my eyes . Waste of my hard earned money. Disappointed. I expect better from Loreal .

Love this moisturizer with sunscreen!

I started going to our local pool and my skin was getting really dry. Normally I don't wear moisturizer at all because i either break out or I'm allergic. I bought Loreal Age Perfect sunscreen moisturizer and I was really surprised that is was so great. After I wash my face, while it's damp, I put it on my face and neck and after about a week the skin on my neck is showing no "crapeiness" and my face is looking better as well. I'm 62 and have been getting fine line on my upper lip which are really upsetting me so I've been looking at all these new products everyone is using. I didn't want to use retinol because I'm out in the sun and my skin is too sensitive to use that during the day. Anyway, so far, I'm surprised and super happy with this product. It smells good and absorbs right into my skin. I put it on after washing my face with a salicylic acid face wash at night that has stopped the flakiness on my skin, and then in the morning I wash my face again and use this. Twice a week at night I've used a retinol before using this cream, but I'm not sure I'll keep that up because my face was a bit red and maybe it's not worth it. Anyway, I love the Age Perfect sunscreen product! My skin is smooth and I don't feel any build up of product on my face or that feeling you sometimes get with these creams where it feel like your face has a coating on it. I absolutely see a difference with the skin on my neck and chest...as for my face, we'll see over the next month if the wrinkles look better, but at least it moisturizes my skin effectively and I've had no sensitivity or break outs.

Won’t buy again after 15 or more years of using it

I used the original formula for 15 years or more, but now it burns by eyes so bad!! I try to keep it away from my eyes, but it still manages to burn like fire and cause me to lose my eye makeup due to watering.

A thick shiny cream, greasy that is annoying when applied, its smell and prick causes tingling and tears in the eyes, I do not recommend anyone to use it, it hurts the eyes because of its strong smell, it causes irritation, tears and tingling in the skin, and its oily texture is annoying and shiny

It may be retinol or vitamin E in it but I am not going to use it

Don't get it in your eyes!

I bought this product months ago and, every time I use it, somehow it ends up in my eyes which is extremely painful! No matter how careful I am, somehow it still gets in my eyes! I finally stopped using it. I recently was looking for a day-time moisturizer with sunscreen and, what did I do?? I bought the exact same thing again! UGH! So, here I am, putting it on again with the same result; in my eyes; burning; watering! Hopefully I've learned my lesson. I don't know why this particular moisturizer with sunscreen is so irritating to my eyes. It's almost like I'm just using regular sunscreen on my face which definitely will irritate your eyes.

This reformulated version is hazardous!

Very unhappy with the modifications to this product. Used the SP15 version for years and was very pleased with the results. Since purchasing the reformulated SP30 version, my skin stings and I have actual red, chemical burns on my neck and near my eyes.

Horrible! A product should NOT cause pain!

This product was a horrible experience from the first time I used it! I DO NOT have allergies or sensitive skin. But the first time I used this, my eyes were on fire! No eye wash, drops, etc. would elevate the pain! I held cold compresses on my eyes for hours. Wasted $$ on this product!

Made my skin worse!

At first I really liked it. It was creamy and my skin felt so soft. But after a few days I started getting dry scaley spots that itched. Even after washing it off and applying my previous lotion, there was still burning. Not happy with this product at all.

I have used Age Perfect for many years and love it. However, the product changed to a Broad spectrum SPF 30. It made me extremely sick. I could hardly get out of bed for 3 days. I hadn't even realized the ingredients changed until I compared the jars. I still have a few jars of the original that I will use but no idea what to switch to when I run out. Very disappointing and scary.

A very nice day cream

The store was out of my usual L’Oréal collagen day/night cream so I got this one. It really did leave my skin feeling hydrated immediately after applying it. It also softened my skin. I love that this product comes in a large 2.5 ounce jar. However, I think the collagen day/night cream works better to keep my skin wrinkle free.

This is ok for when I have a sunburn or I'm needing a little added protection from the sun under makeup, but I don't believe I could or would ever use this as a stand-alone moisturizer. It leaves a residue on my face and it just looks greasy, even if it's not.

SPF 30 stains everything.

I have been using Age Perfect Day Cream for many years. Unfortunately I will no longer be using it. Since the change from 15 spf to 30 spf it stains my light silver hair to an orange tint where ever it touches my skin. Also my clothes and hatbands are stained with this color. Sorry, that is unacceptable.

Horrible scent; too thick

Just bought and tried out the Age Perfect Collagen expert. In fact, I made a msitake, since I was searching for the Age Perfecct Anti-sagging+anti-age spots.
The Collagen expert has a terrible smell, the cream is heavy. I will not even use the one I bought. Terrible!

THE NEW FORMULA IS TERRIBLE

I am very unhappy with the "New Look New Formula" Age Perfect creme. It does NOT work at all like the original one did. I don't like how it smells or feels on my skin.
PLEASE bring back the original product. From a business standpoint L'Oreal isn't going to make any money off of this new formula (for both the day and night creme) because nobody likes it.

This product is great for my skin! I love that is has collagen and SPF. This helps rejuvenate my skin. I can go out and know that I have aun protection. I love how it is helping reduce fine lines. I will continue to buy this product and highly recommend it!

Loreal day time age perfect collagen did nothing for my wrinkles or elasticity. The scent was okay. However it did make my face feel very soft and hydrated. Would I recommend yes I would but maybe to a younger person that is just starting to try and get on top of the wrinkles areas

Just like it’s night time counterpart, this moisturizer has made a clear difference in my skin . It’s goes on light and blends nicely into my skin leaving no oily residue or tackiness.
