From May 12th to 23rd, we celebrated the artistry, elegance, and empowerment that defined beauty, both on and off the red carpet.
Returning as the Official Makeup Partner for the 29th year, L’Oréal Paris honored not only beauty but the powerful stories behind every woman. This year, we proudly celebrated the 6th anniversary of the Lights on Women’s Worth Award, reaffirming our commitment to women in cinema by amplifying the voices of talented female filmmakers and empowering new generations of storytellers.

For L’Oréal Paris, the Festival de Cannes is an iconic moment to unite its global family of ambassadors and to celebrate beauty and women’s empowerment on one of the world’s most prestigious stages. This year, guests of the brand included newly announced global ambassador Charles Leclerc, along with an all-star cast of familiar faces:

As a celebration of unique sisterhood, on May 13, L’Oréal Paris hosted Le Dîner Women of Worth to celebrate women’s empowerment, on the occasion of Jane Fonda’s 20-year and Gong Li’s 30-year anniversary of partnership with the brand.

A NEW VISION OF ICONIC CANNES GLAMOUR
As Official Makeup Artist to the Festival de Cannes since 1997, L’Oréal Paris was proud to continue its support of the world of cinema, showcasing transformative beauty pioneered by science at the film industry’s most significant global gathering. This year, the brand hosted more than 60 hair and makeup artists on-site who created unforgettable makeup looks from the opening to the closing ceremony, and every day in between, under the creative direction of L’Oréal Paris Global Make-Up Artist Harold James and L’Oréal Paris hair expert, Stéphane Lancien.
Once again, the L’Oreal Paris’ family made a bold statement on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival.
LIGHTS ON WOMEN'S WORTH AWARD
The world’s leading beauty brand presented the sixth edition of the L’Oréal Paris Lights on Women’s Worth Award, with actress and L’Oréal Paris ambassador Gillian Anderson taking over from Viola Davis as the Juror.
Created to address gender disparity in filmmaking and to elevate women’s voices, this award honored one promising female short-film director from among the Short Film Competition and La Cinef’s selection.
