A one-of-a-kind purifying hair mask, the L'Oreal Paris Extraordinary Clay Pre-Shampoo Mask absorbs oil and impurities at the scalp, leaving you with long-lasting fresh, clean hair for up to 48 hours.*

*Based on using the complete system of pre-shampoo treatment, shampoo, and conditioner.

On dry hair, before shampooing, apply the mask on the roots section by section making sure to fully cover the entire head.
Leave for 5 minutes to absorb excess oil and impurities. Rinse while gently massaging the scalp to ensure all product is washed away. Follow with Extraordinary Clay Shampoo and Conditioner. Suitable for color-treated hair.

There is a noticeable difference in my hair and it is clean and fresh after use. Because of my oily roots I have to wash my hair every day! I use the shampoo and conditioner from the same line every day and they help the masks impact last! I highly recommend this mask for anyone with oily roots! It does a wonderful job and it works! Take it from someone who hated their hair for the longest time and talked about shaving their head! This mask is a life saver!! I cannot recommend it enough!!

My only complain is that it smells like clay and also that when I use my hand to apply the mask (I don't know how to properly apply it), some of it get under my nail and it is kind of annoying to remove it.

I read that taking hot showers can make your hair very dry. The mask was a little messy but fun to apply.

I dye my hair, heat damage, not trimmed and curly. This makes my hair silky smooth. Frizz free and so much more manageable I hope this is never discontinued..

My trick is to shampoo it out. I don't know why but that seems to help with it not over drying. I love it I just think some ingredient needs to be tweaked again.

Is this product being discontined? I am struggling to find it at stores I have bought it in the past.

Is this meant to be used regularly if you have a naturally oily scalp? I've been using at least the shampoo every other day and the mask and conditioner once a week at most. I don't want to over-clean my scalp

Can I use the l’oreal Extraordinary clay hair mask on colored hair?

How do I use Elvive extraordinary clay preshampoo clay mask? The label says "peel here" but there is nothing underneath.
