Not What I Expected
Used Color Experte Iced Meringue. It didn’t color the gray at all. Not as light and cool as I remember it when I used it several years ago. As with many of L’Oreal hair colors recently they have changed. Very disappointing. Haven’t done the highlights yet but hoping it lightens up my hair. Way to dark for a 8.2 cool medium blonde.

Don’t Discontinue Couleur Experte
Love this product - it looks so well done and natural but gorgeous. I get compliments all the time, and it’s so easy and inexpensive. I’ve used 8.0 Toasted Coconut for many years, and it’s a great shade - looks great when first done and even fades perfectly. Please do not discontinue this product and the 4 shades left - it’s what keeps me loyal to L’Oreal’s shampoo, conditioner, makeup, you name it. I hope you expand the color range again especially as many women look to find ways to look great for less as basic living costs have increased.

Excellent Product!
I have used this two step color/highlight for years and years. One time, I tried a different brand and was driving to get my go-to the same day. This product is easy to use and the end result of the all over color and the highlights is exactly how I like it. It is long lasting and leaves my hair soft and fuller. It’s getting hard to find these days and I am hoping it is not going to get discontinued, because I would not use anything else unless I was forced to and I know it won’t be as good.

The product is amazing. It’s easy to apply.
My favorite color was dark golden blonde aka biscotti, which was discontinued many years ago, but I found it on eBay coming from Canada at a higher price and have been ordering it for over 10 years now . Contacted L’Oréal directly several times to no avail; They keep reinventing fancy hair care products but this is the best easy to apply safe on the hair and scalp that has ever been made on earth. Not to listen to Their customers! The biscotti and the La Rocca are very complementary to most skin colors

Really great before it was discontinued
I love the Ginger Twist color and it is so vibrant when you use it. After reading through all of the other reviews about this product, I can’t believe that this company is not willing to listen to what it’s customers clearly want and be willing to put the Ginger Twist color back into production. How many customers need to complain or request that you do so before you would consider doing so? So disappointed by this decision.

Miss Ginger Twist Color

Highly recommend!
I have used 8.0 for years and it’s wonderful. I get SO MANY compliments!! I’m nervous that they’ll quit making it. I truly wouldn’t be able to replace this product with anything else! The color is perfectly matched to the highlight.

Great color and good for hair.
I have been using this product for many years and am always pleased with the outcome. I find it easy to apply and can be made more blond and even just a little blond, depending on my mood. My hair actually feels softener after each use. I will continue to use this product.

I have also been using Ginger Twist for many years. I've been buying it in Ontario Canada and have been able to buy this product up until a month ago. I am soooo disappointed to learn it has been discontinued. I frequently received compliments about my hair color while using this product. Which L'oreal colors can I combine now to give me the same effect?

Best Choice on the Market by Far!
This is the best product on the market for highlights and lowlight effects at home. I have been using this for nine years. I love it - the color choices are fabulous. I use tight gloves instead of the loose ones and apply the highlights by hand. I don’t use the applicator. I can’t tell you the numerous women who have asked me where I get my hair done.. I am so thoroughly disappointed that you have decided to discontinue this product.

Incredible product
I have been using 6.1 for at least 10 years. I have received so many compliments- it is fool proof, so easy to do highlights with the mascara wand (except the back- I get my husband to do!) I can't imagine ever going to a salon and getting the same results!

so the only reason it is a one star review is because I have used Ginger twist 6.4 for so many years, and saw it becoming harder to find so bought a few just in case, went on Amazon and got on the delivery service to get it every three to 4 weeks,. WHEN WILL YOU BRING BACK GINGER TWIST!!! I called when it was so hard to find and was assured it was only temporary it was not discontinued, though I saw it on many reviews....PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BRING IT BACK...I see so many people asking for it...why discontinue it ??Always got compliments on my hair and now every other color looks fake or just not right, I have tried highlighting other colors..yuck...need GINGER TWIST 6.4 BACK!! I have been using the L’Oréal Color Experte for quite a while. I have always been happy with product, but when I used the product this morning, it appears the illuminating powder amount has been cut in half…..I look half done now. Very frustrated!

Misleading and inaccurate
The all over hair color did nothing and then when I went to do the highlights there was barely any product to have any effect on my hair whatsoever.
I am not sure if you’re advertising was for the short haired girl on the box but but you really should be more specific about what the two swipe highlights will cover for the actual average person not a hair model.

They’re cutting back on product
This has been my go to for about a year now. I’ve been using just the highlight part as I don’t wanna color my hair any longer. Was perfect, however, I think they reduced the amount of liquid and bleach. It wasn’t enough this time to do my whole head as I could in the past. I’m so tired of companies trying to save money by cutting amounts. Time to go to Sally’s

Love it!
I have used your products for over 15 years. I color and then highlight. The purple conditioner that comes in the box is remarkable. I would like to purchase that to continue using through the time - or until its time to color again. Is that product sold alone, if so what stores carry it what is it called? I have used the purple conditioners but they do not work like what you pack in the box. Please help, I’m desperate!!!!!

BRING BACK GINGER TWIST
I have used a L'oreal Colour Experte product for the better part of 20 years. I started using a very unnatural looking red (which was intentional) in the early 2000's before finding a more suitable and natural color. Just a few years into using that color, they discontinued it and I switched over to Ginger Twist. It was a lighter red and I wasn't sure I'd love it but man, it was beautiful!
Just after switching, I moved to Ireland for a while and everyone there used to come up to tell and touch my hair and tell me how beautiful it was (every women had an aunt, cousin or niece with my hair color and they were jealous). I was obsessed, proud and excited about my hair color and even the process! My hair sylists over the years always commented on how my box color looked completely natural (some were floored when they realized I colored my hair because they couldn't tell at first).
This color has now been discontinued for ages. I bought up everything I could. In the meantime, I chatted with a L'oreal rep who offered other suggestions for achieving the Ginger Twist look. I have rotated through those suggestions and not enjoyed a single one. It's heartbreaking. I literally feel like I'm being exposed or outed without my permission (I'm naturally a dark blonde but I've colored my hair for so long, no one knows I'm not a redhead). I now have to make the decision to try a different brand altogether, or transition to blonde hair... I can't believe how broken it feels to think I'm running out of options to be the person I have always been and enjoy being. It sounds silly but being a redhead is a part of my identity and it's being striped away, one bad hair color suggestion at a time. I'm really disappointed and hurt that still, years later, with so many redheads complaining that this color was discontinued, they won't bring it back.

Love it!
I've been using this product and color for about 15 yrs. I love it and get lots of compliments. I like that you have option to use highlights. I generally don't in the summer, because my hair gets too light. I just wish I had a coupon every time I buy it. I buy it once a month.

Redheads may be a smaller percentage of the world population but our likes and opinions matter. You have chosen to not offer any product that compares to the ginger twist. Thanks but no thanks to your products.

Why haven't you brought back Ginger Twist 6.4 or a similar red version? It is a fantastic product and I have been trying unsuccessfully to find a substitute. Copper red hair is still VERY fashionable. Please introduce a new similar product. Thank you.

#1 Hair color kit ever!!!!!!!!
II have been using this product for well over 10 yrs. and love the results everytime! I recieve many compliments no matter the color. This product by Loreal gives my hair a beautiful color,shine and healthier with every use. If you're thinking about buying/trying this, DO IT
This is by far the best turnout I've had with at home dye jibs! And believe me, I've used MANYYY in my lifetime! The color combination turned out perfectly. It really looks like I paid to have it done. My husband asked did i get my hair done? (yesterday). I told him YEA, I DID IT MYSELF. Lol. Love it and will definitely use it again. I used 3.5 Cherry chocolate mousse Darkest mahogany brown:)

Love French Eclair!
I've been using the French Eclair kit since COVID. I get a lot of compliments on the brunette color. I have tried the highlighting but I have a lot of natural red in my hair so the highlighting really brings that out - esp. if I do chunkier highlights. If I do thin highlights, it looks much better. Sometimes I skip the highlighting and just use the brown color. I love it!

I love the iced meringue. I have received so many compliments regarding my hair. Highlights on top with a dark base. I enjoy telling everyone that it is done
at home. I don’t like the fact that my store has not had it stocked for the last few months. I’m really hoping it doesn’t get discontinued.

This product used to be SO Great! Now, its not anymore. Something has changed. It doesnt condition like it used to. My hair is not as shiney, soft, the color isnt as rich and the color doesn't last nearly as long. I wish they would go back to the way it was. I used to get so many compliments! SO disappointed!

I have been using Loreal Couleur Experte Iced Meringue for many, many years. It is so amazing! Easy to use, always looks natural and beautiful. I gave up having it done at a salon because it's so much more gorgeous when I do it myself. I get compliments on my hair (and I don't have great hair!) every week. I've converted many friends over the years and am so happy with it. Please don't ever discontinue it -- I do not know what I would do with my hair without it!

This is the best product out there. Why did Loreal discontinue it? Nothing has compared to it. My hair feels so soft after using this hair color and the highlighting kit is a breeze. If you were going to discontinue this product, why not have a replacement in the works. I can only get this hair color on Amazon thank goodness.

I am so sad that you discontinued this color product. I used it for almost 20 years with so many compliments. As a black woman it’s hard to find colors that you feel are perfect and that was my signature. It makes me so sad that you made this decision. There is nothing comparable!

I have used this kit for years and it is hands down, THE best at home color and highlight kit around. I look best in French Eclair, but now that I am thinking about growing out my gray, I figure if I don't look great in grey (?!) I will maybe go to Iced Meringue. A great value and easy to use.
