When you think of the Easter, your first thought most likely revolves around childhood memories, Easter egg hunts, and frilly dresses. Now that you’re all grown up, you can approach Easter from a different perspective if you’d like to—with makeup! While Easter is definitely not the holiday to go overboard with dark lipstick colors and a cake face, it’s most certainly the time to add a few sweet hues to makeup repertoire. Not sure where to start? Here, we show you which eye shadows, eyeliners, mascaras, and face makeup you should use for your ultimate Easter makeup look. Here are three Easter makeup tutorials to try this spring.
No time to master an expertly blended pastel smoky eye? Try an allover wash of pastel color instead!
What you’ll need:
L’Oréal Paris Infallible Paints Metallics Eyeshadow in Violet Luster
L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Last Waterproof Pencil Eyeliner in Black
L’Oréal Paris Voluminous X Fiber Mascara
Get the look by following these simple steps:
Step 1: Prime your lids. To ensure that your allover eyeshadow shade stays in place all through your Easter festivities, it’s best to start your makeup routine off with a quick dab of eye makeup primer on each lid. Allow it to dry before moving on to the next step.
Step 2: Dust on your allover color. Pop the lid of your metallic violet eye shadow and swirl the shimmering shade across your lids for an Easter-ready look.
Step 3: Finish with eyeliner and mascara. Since your lid look is super-simple, you’ll want to give it a little extra sass with a crisp wing tip using black eyeliner and voluminous fiber mascara.
L’Oréal Paris Infallible 24 HR Eyeshadow in Burst Into Bloom
L’Oréal Paris Infallible 24 HR Eyeshadow in Glistening Garnet
L’Oréal Paris Infallible 24 HR Eyeshadow in Always Pearly Pink
L’Oréal Paris The Super Slim Liquid Eyeliner
L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara
Step 1: Start by priming your lids. A dab eye makeup primer on each lid should do the trick.
Step 2: Blend your ombré lid. Start off by blending some of your purple eye shadow in the outer corners of your eyes. Next, dust some of the pink eye shadow in the inner half of your lids. To create the perfect fade, blend some of the lighter pink on top of the two shades to soften the overall look.
Step 3: Finish with eyeliner and mascara. A quick swipe of voluminous mascara, paired with an ultra-thin kitten tip with yeliner will beautifully tie your look together.
Whichever Easter makeup look you decide to rock with your Sunday best, be sure to pair it with an equally perfect complexion to match. Whether you have oily skin or dry skin, ahead we show you how to make the most of your complexion.

L’Oréal Paris True Match™ Color Correcting Crayons
L’Oréal Paris True Match™ Super-Blendable Multi-Use Concealer
L’Oréal Paris True Match™ Lumi Bronze It Bronzer
L’Oréal Paris True Match™ Lumi Glow Amour Glow Boosting Drops
L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro Sweep & Lock Loose Setting Face Powder
Step 1: Start with makeup primer. Whenever you’re working with makeup that you want to make a statement, you better believe you’ll want it to last. Makeup primer will ensure that it will.
Step 2: Color correct your complexion if need be. If your skin has the appearance of redness, dullness, dark circles, or sallowness, use the color correcting crayon of your choice to help camouflage your skin care concern. By applying these colorful concealers before your foundation, you’ll be able to avoid using more foundation than you need.
Step 3: Apply your foundation. Use a radiant finish foundation and blend it all over your face with a makeup blender.
Step 4: Brighten your under-eyes with concealer. Next, swipe some concealer under your eyes and blend it into place.
Step 5: Chisel your cheeks. To give your face a bit more definition, swipe some bronzer into the hollows of your cheeks using an angled contouring brush. Next, dot on a few highlighter drops.
Step 6: Seal your makeup look. Sweep a setting powder over your face with a fluffy makeup brush.
Whichever Easter makeup look you choose, be sure to top it off with a pretty pink pout perfect for Easter. To get the look, try using the L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Shine Lipstick in Dewy Petal for a glossy lip look or the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro Matte Les Chocolats Scented Liquid Lipstick in Candyman for a matte lip look.
