Hazelnut Oil Skin Benefits:
Antioxidant
Moisturizing

Hazelnut oil is produced from pressing the seeds of Corylus avellana, also known as hazel or hazelnuts. Prominently known as a food ingredient, hazelnut possesses high concentrations of fatty acids and Vitamin E that are known to improve skin quality. 1

Due to the lipid molecules present in hazelnut’s fatty acids, hazelnut extract is the ideal emollient for providing moisturizing properties.  It works by improving the skin’s ability to retain moisture, thus enhancing the skin’s overall level of hydration and appearance.  Additionally, the Vitamin E present in hazelnut oil skin care products also provides strong antioxidant protection that help to neutralize damaging free-radicals present in the environment. 12
